We offer two different campsites:
• Riverside Site – Located directly along the Green River, surrounded by cottonwood trees and white sandy beaches, providing a true riverside camping experience.
• Family Site – This site includes a fence and gate between the campsite and the river, making it a great option for guests with small children. It also features cottonwood trees that provide shade from the summer sun.
*During the summer months, mosquitoes can occasionally be heavy due to the proximity to the river. To help with this, we provide tiki torches filled with mosquito-repellent oil at both campsites. We also recommend bringing personal insect repellent for added comfort. If you happen to forget, we do keep some available for purchase.

All 30 amp & 50 amp RV Sites feature Electricity, Water, and Sewer Hookups, alongside access to showers and restrooms. A coin-operated laundry is accessible; coins are available for purchase from the store. RV 30 amp sites offer pull-through, back-in, and long and short site choices.
Dry Campground denotes no water connection.
Our amenities include a steakhouse, cafe, and ice cream shop. Rental options encompass river rafts, kayaks, paddle boards, and fishing boats. Other facilities include a gas station, fly shop, convenience store, and fishing guides.

Conveniently located just a short drive from two major shopping malls, including an outlet mall, our RV park is also near a variety of restaurants, a large supermarket, and other local businesses. Situated off the picturesque Turquoise Trail, guests can explore the historic Villages of Cerrillos and the vibrant artist community of Madrid. For history enthusiasts, the 17th Century Spanish Colonial Living History Museum, El Rancho de Las Golondrinas, is nearby, marking the last overnight stop for travelers on the El Camino Real from Mexico.

This place is lager with easy access to the Starvation Reservoir or Duchesne if you forgot something.
Well maintained. I belive they are looking to add more than just the one spot. Bring bug spray.

Beautiful campground! My husband comes here to hunt every year during deer season. He asked me to marry him on the dock. Very special place for our family!

Additional note: when it was opened in 2021, there was no charge for using the CG. I hope that will again be the case in 2022. It is VERY shady—if you camp here, don’t plan on having much sunlight for any solar gear.

This campground has been gated (locked) for several years. A sign states that it needs extensive rehabilitation and there is not budget for that. It was opened for the summer of 2021 while the nearby Lodgepole campground was closed. As of fall 2021, it was again locked. Don’t plan on using it without contacting the Vernal ranger district first to make sure that it is opened. If I observe that it is open this summer (2022) I will post that here. (I live in nearby Manila, UT.)

I loved this campground. It was well kept. We were able to pick a spot with a view. It was such a short distance to the gorge too. At the dock near the campsite you can rent different things like kayaks and go explore the gorge. It was GORGEous :)
