Great remote getaway and fishing!
Great time getting away. This place is remote and that’s what I was looking for. The water is very close with great fishing and my son loved exploring the rocks that are everywhere. Jossue’s directions were easy to follow and we will definitely return for another trip. No complaints!!

Great remote spot by Starvation!
This property was just what we wanted. Very remote location, great for a large group and easy access to the water. We did have a side by side so the trip to the water was very quick. I’d highly try his spot and will book in the future.
We did come across (2) scorpions just keep in eye out.

Remote and great lake access
Positives:
The location is very remote, which is very nice. It is quiet and close to the lake, about a 10-minute walk. The host is very accommodating and helpful. We stayed at site A and it was private and up a bit from the other sites. It had a very nice firepit as well. The lake is total empty, we spent several hours along the shores and never saw anyone. The water is crystal clear and beautiful.
Negatives:
It is very difficult to access. It is about 8 miles of dirt road and many of the street signs are fallen over (at least most are there though). The instructions to get there are solid, but you have to look for fallen signs or you'll get lost. Lots of cacti around the camp, so keep a close eye on little ones and dogs. The dirt at spot A is soft so bring a few mats to keep you from bringing in dirt to your rig or tent.

The 2 trailers left on the property are in the best spots. so we were stuck with the uneven spots left over further away from the fire pit. And had to work around them .
The property had a ton of odd trashy looking half built items (pvc pipe play house?? Odd table with bones 😣) . The directions had everyone lost. Including me.. we had to meet everyone to guide them in .

Very secluded with a beautiful view! Reservoir was very low this year and quite a long walk. Jossue made directions very clear on how to get there which helped so much! I would camp here again!

Camp here!
What an awesome place! We really enjoyed this spot. There was PLENTY of room for our 3 huge tents. The ground is nice and clear, plenty of room to park and set up a nice kitchen area. There were even a few trees really close to hang out hammocks. I could actually live here! The water was a little further away because of the drought but it was a nice walk. We made it an adventure. We never saw any people and really enjoyed the privacy this spot has to offer.
We will definitely stay here again!

Great desert camping, not lakeside
The campsite had some beautiful views of Starvation Resevoir. The photos made it look like the campsite is almost right on the waters edge, and this is not the case. With the lack of a trail as well as low water levels, it took us a good 20 minutes to finally get to the water (while trying to avoid cryptobiotic soil). It was nice to have an established fire ring, great juniper trees to hang hammocks from, and a table already there. Some of the roads there were missing signs and were missed on the instructions as well, so all three parties ended up getting lost on the way out. If you like desert camping, this is a great site!

We had a great time staying here. The water was about 10-15 minutes of a walk, due to lower water levels. But there are trails leading down to it, so it's easy to get there. It was quiet and peaceful with a beautiful view of the stars at night. We had a large group and had plenty of room for multiple campers. There are some cactus on the property so make sure you have a good pair of shoes if you're planning on exploring. Would definitely stay here again.

Love this spot
Wonderful property, out of the way like we like it. I wouldn’t consider it truly secluded as there are a lot of other campers around the area, but that is worth it for the location and the outstanding sky view. We witnessed 2 UAPs and our dog loved chasing around the critters.

It was so nice how it was private and a nice area to get away or a weekend.
