Weekend Trip to RIVER BEND CAMP GROUND

I love this place, AL is awesome! He make sure that we are taken good care off! It's beautiful place and the river is amazing! 👏

1 night at Meadowlark

Meadowlark is a beautiful homestead in Tremonton, UT. You can tell Stacy has worked hard on establishing this beautiful property with stunning views of the valley below. Iwould love to come back in a few years and see the full potential of the recently planted fruit trees. There's goats, and chickens and gardens (my pup FREAKED when she saw her first goat, but qui kly adapted). Equally as charming as the homestead is Stacy as a host. Came out to grwwt me, even guided me as I used my questionable backing skills getting into the spot. I tow a 31 trailer, and I was able to navigate the space with ease. The site was *mostly level*. Stacy's co-host, Marmaduke, greeted my pups and was more gentle than my own pups! Imabe real honest, I approached this property from the west and as I was driving in off the interstate for the first 12 miles I thought I was being puked. Desolate desert nothingness. But as you peak the crest and that lush green valley view breaks the distance, its an other worldly view. Simply breathtaking. Now, that said, at first (like I said, zero services coming in from the west) I was concerned about the "what ifs"...what if I need gas? What if I need groceries? What if I need to replace a second trailer tire this trip? FEAR NOT! Meadowlark is 6ish minutes to the nearest gas and egg McMuffin to the east! And once you get on the high to the east of the property, its basically a city all the way past Salt Lake! Loved my stay here. Very quiet, very comfortable.

Al & Jeri are amazing people. Loved staying at their place. Very peaceful and beautiful. Fun fishing spot and great spot to sit in the water to cool off.

We were in a bind and needed a safe space to park our teardrop camper. I messaged Jill and within 15 minutes of the message she responded and we were able to drop off our camper within the next 20 minutes. She was kind accommodating and really good at communication. I highly recommend her..

Weekend Trip to Tiny Shiny Escape, River Runs Thru!

This place was great! The sounds of the creek were nice. The host was great and very helpful. The hangout area behind our teardrop camper was a little small since we had our two dogs, but the road was great for walks with them so it worked out just fine. The spring down the road is delicious. Looks like there is a lot to do around the area, we were just stopping overnight on a road trip so didn’t have time for much.

Weekend Trip to Meadowlark

I had a wonderful night and regretted only booking one night. It was perfect for visiting Golden Spike National Historic Park nearby. Stacy was quick to respond and he greeted me when I arrived. Parking was easy and I can't say enough about the view! My cat enjoyed watching the goats and chickens from the camper window. I really needed a relaxing night on my road trip and my stay was exactly that! Thanks Stacy!

We had a great time staying here! Stacy was an incredible host from start to finish, very accommodating and communicative from start to finish. Great power hookup and my dog was welcomed with open arms as well. I highly recommend this spot to anyone passing through the area!

Camping was very easy here; there is an rv hookup and the host, Stacy, is very nice and is incredibly understanding, I asked if I could hang a hammock and though we didn’t end up doing it Stacy was still very very willing to help come up with a solution to do. I would highly recommend. 5/5

This was the perfect place for my husband, dogs, and our camper van. I wish we could have stayed longer! The host communicated with us but was also respectful of our privacy. We would definitely stay here again.

Nice to have access to pools, hot tub, and nice clean showers and facilities. Fishing rules have changed post-listing- pay for permit, but catch and release only. They were very nice and responsive, and we enjoyed our stay!

Very peaceful with the little stream running behind the spot. My class C was a bit of a tight fit but it worked. Chad was an amazing host and the area is very scenic. There is also a hiking trail 3-5 minutes up the road. The spot itself is very private feeling with trees surrounding. This location is also starlink friendly.

Weekend Trip to Steep Mountain Farm

We loved camping at Nate & Tara’s farm. Easy to find and relatively private. Tara met us when we drove in, gave us a few options to where to set up our tent, and encouraged us to walk around and meet the animals. (We had no idea that turkeys slept in trees and were fascinated watching them all get up there). We really enjoyed our stay and would love to stay again if we are ever in the area.

This stop suited us well. It’s easy to find and we found a nice, level spot just off the driveway for our 21 foot campervan. We were able to open out the side “patio” towards a creek and felt very private, even though we were fairly close to the house. The community is small and quiet.

We have ten acres that our home sit on but about 9 acres that consist of dry farm grass. We use 1 acre for camping and parking. The Weber river runs across the back of our property where we have a campground with tables and firepits. This is a family campground. We do not have Electrical Power or Water hookups. We have added 4 wooden porta potty enclosed in small tents which we service every day or as needed. Site selection is determined by type of sleeping accommodations and managements discretion. We have two tent areas and 1 RV spot. **We allow 2 adults per site and/or 2 adults and minor children per site. (Larger Family Gathering must be approved and pay extra based on the number of family or friends expected) WE DO NOT HAVE A FIRE BAN AT THE MOMENT BUT FIRES NEED TO BE SMALL AND UNDER A WATCHFUL EYE. ALL FIREWORKS ARE CURRENTLY STRICTLY PROHIBITED We are not a public campground and only list through Hipcamp and so our property is posted with NO TRESPASSING SIGNS. It is very important to let us know your approximate arrival time and call when you arrive. We will guide you down to the campgrounds and show you the best spots base on your type of camping. (Sleeping in trailers or van's versus tent campers) One draw back to our property is that we are within 1/2 mile of a well use highway (US 84) and railroad track. We have only had one camper who was concerned about the noise. Here at the house we don't notice it and maybe we are just use to it. Limited swimming and use of paddle board based on river conditions. Fishing is limited because we are on private property and the river is not stocked by the Utah fish and game. So, we are dependent on normal reproduction of the fish. Fly fishing being the best however you can use lures. Power bait or any bait that requires treble hooks are not allowed.. We would prefer catch and release. ALL UTAH FISHING REGULATION APPLY. WE HAVE INDICATED WHEEL CHAIR ACCESSIBLE. THE WHOLE AREA IS BASICLLY LEVEL AND GRASS AND BARK COVERED.

A ten minute walk to Mantua Reservoir for ice fishing in the winter, kayaking, boating, water skiing, fishing in Spring, Summer, & Fall. Pickleball courts are a 10 minute walk away. Mountain biking, four wheeling, side-by-side adventure right outside your RV door to Willard Peak and the beautiful Northern Wasatchback. Use of my huge lawn (next to the field where you park) for lawn games (provided for a small fee), and my in-ground fire pit are available for your enjoyment - must be reserved. Friendly dogs are very welcome - my white Lab is always looking for new friends! 3 miles down Box Elder Canyon to two large grocery stores, Walmart, gas stations, restaurants, and gyms. One hour to skiing at Snow Basin (home of 2002 Olympic downhill), Powder Mountain to the south and Beaver Mountain to the north. World's largest game bird refuge and museum 10 minutes west down the canyon. Utah State University 30 minutes to the north and Weber State University 30 minutes to the south. Box Elder Creek is a 5 minute walk into Box Elder Campground, the poppy hill (2 weeks in June), and wonderful hiking opportunities. The valley was settled by Danish immigrants in 1862, and the property you will be on is owned by a descendent of the original settlers. See more info about Mantua in the link below.

Water and 30AMP 40ft site. Dump Stations close by. The site is nestled in very special part of the Sandy suburbs, where every property has a mini farm. As you stroll these quiet tree-lined roads, you will discover horses, alpacas, chickens, and many other friendly RVers. With towering mountain views and golden sunsets, you will feel the campground vibes you are used to. Where we are, the pace is slow. We usually wake up to horse whinnies and fresh eggs from our chickens. Your friendly dogs and horses are welcome too. We have a paddock, terrace, firepit and some of the best mountain views in the valley. The site can accommodate up to 40ft, with additional with road parking for tow/toad vehicles. The site is mostly shaded, but also has clear skies for a Starlink. In the summer, the site is 5 minutes to mountain trails, 5 minutes to an equestrian trail area, 10 minutes to an epic mountain biking single track area, 18 minutes to Snowbird for tram rides to the top of the Wasatch, summer concerts and Oktoberfest. In the winter, you have 7 ski resorts to choose from, skiing on arguably the 'greatest snow on earth'. With Alta only 22 minutes away, you can ski one of three ski-only resorts in the world. Or, choose boarding at the fun-filled terrain park of Brighton. Park City is the largest resort in the USA and is only 45 minutes away. For city amenities, Sandy has everything. Multiple RV suppliers and repair shops, tire shops, and all the equipment stores you would ever need, including an REI. We have grocery stores from Trader Joe's down the street, to a Kroger a couple of minutes away and a Wholefoods 15min away. Sandy has many great family restaurants and coffee shops and is only a short drive (or light-rail ride) into downtown Salt Lake City which is packed with world-class cuisine and entertainment. Sandy is home to Utah's hockey team and soccer teams, a training center for the Utah Jazz and a beautiful new Theatre with Broadway shows playing regularly. Retro Star Ranch is big and secluded. Aside from a few trailers that dot the hills in the distance you are pretty much on your own. We have 25 acres of land at the end of a private road in a secret hidden valley not far from SLC, Ogden and Eden Utah. This land is pristine and connected to over 5000 acres of undeveloped open space. The property is part of a recreational property subdivision. You might see some fellow campers on quads, occasionally you might hear gunfire, but you're more likely to see deer, fox, grouse, birds of prey, moose and possibly elk. Not far from Causey Reservoir and the South Fork of the Ogden River both of which have great water for floating and fishing. You could easily get here in a sedan when dry but not recommended for sports or low clearance vehicles. If you have 4x4 that is better, especially if you want to venture to our last campsite or pull a trailer here. We've pulled a 30' foot trailer but the road is skinny in places and the turns are tight, bumpy from cobbles and ruts and often have puddles. There is about 2 miles of that climbs over a ridge. If you're adventurous and a confident driver on dirt roads you will have no problem. If it's you're first time pulling a trailer or if you have a low clearance then this might not be the spot for you. However, if you're looking for something peaceful and secluded that is not that far from town, this is it. We can also accommodate larger groups or multiple vehicles if desired. Please contact us with any special requests or questions. The Knoll site is better for trailers and larger groups. It has a loop through driveway and can accommodate a few trailers. Please be aware that this is wilderness camping and there are wild animals throughout the woods. It is best to stay on trail or at the site and be alert for snakes, big cats, moose and deer.

A couple miles off the freeway, so no road noise but easy access. 5 miles to Kimball Junction and 10 miles to Main Street or Park City Mountain. We sit on 2 1/2 acres in our neighborhood. This is a great place to stay if you want to explore the Park City area. Close to Park City Mountain Resort and Deer Valley if you want to come in for a ski weekend or an extended stay. Please inquire about available access during the winter. Great access to mountain bike trails right from the property. Glenwild Loop, Cobblestone and Flying Dog are accessible from the neighborhood. The Rail Trail is also accessible from the neighborhood and can take you to Old Town. A great eBike option. Visit mountaintrails.org for the many bike trails in the area. A great little hike up to ponds is a short distance away, also. Pet friendly but must be good around other animals. Our house is on the property and we have 2 large friendly dogs and cats. There are also deer and elk that cruise through our property and neighbors riding their horses down the street. Inquire about water and electric. We do not have sewer, but have a contact for a company that will come pump if you don't want to move, or, there is an RV park about 5 miles down the road that will pump for a small fee.
