We have ten acres that our home sit on but about 9 acres that consist of dry farm grass. We use 1 acre for camping and parking. The Weber river runs across the back of our property where we have a campground with tables and firepits. This is a family campground. We do not have Electrical Power or Water hookups. We have added 4 wooden porta potty enclosed in small tents which we service every day or as needed. Site selection is determined by type of sleeping accommodations and managements discretion.
We have now have one tent areas and 1 RV spot.
**We allow 2 adults per site and/or 2 adults and minor children per site.
(Larger Family Gathering must be approved and pay extra based on the number of family or friends expected)
WE NOW HAVE A COMPLETE FIRE BAN.
ALL FIREWORKS ARE CURRENTLY STRICTLY PROHIBITED
We are not a public campground and only list through Hipcamp and so our property is posted with NO TRESPASSING SIGNS. It is very important to let us know your approximate arrival time and call when you arrive. We will guide you down to the campgrounds and show you the best spots base on your type of camping. (Sleeping in trailers or van's versus tent campers)
One draw back to our property is that we are within 1/2 mile of a well use highway (US 84) and railroad track. We have only had one camper who was concerned about the noise. Here at the house we don't notice it and maybe we are just use to it.
Limited swimming and use of paddle board based on river conditions.
Fishing is limited because we are on private property and the river is not stocked by the Utah fish and game. So, we are dependent on normal reproduction of the fish. Fly fishing being the best however you can use lures. Power bait or any bait that requires treble hooks are not allowed.. We would prefer catch and release.

Surrounded by majestic 100-foot pine trees, it offers a serene escape with a riverside setting that's truly rare. Gather around the fire pit for unforgettable evenings under the stars. I provide two trailers that will comfortably sleep 11 people. Renting my recreational vehicles are also an option. The trailers are all set up with bedding and sleeping accommodations, however because of the remote location we use outhouse instead of the trailers makes it possible to leave them on the mountain all summer.AT&T has incredible service at this spot to stay connected amidst the wilderness. Embrace off-grid living with no utilities, complemented by the convenience of an outhouse and gated entrance. You have to see this paradise in person to believe it! You could say it’s somewhat glamping because of all the amenities but you’ll feel like you never have before nature, the privacy and everything around you. There’s two massive fire pits, flat spots for tents, outdoor couch seating, it’s a great place to host a family gathering, big event, wedding, anything you can imagine. Shoot guns, play games, escape the city and to your spot in around 30 minutes from the mouth of Weber Canyon.

Our property is located North of Brigham City. We have a gorgeous view of the Wasatch front on the East and amazing sunsets across the Bird Refuge. This property is primitive. We have multiple places for a vans to park, from graveled driveways and flat graveled parking areas, too more primitive parking full of grassy areas.

The spot I parked in alongside the road worked out great. I had my vehicle situated to sleep in it and this was the perfect location to do it. I left early and continued heading north without having to go back into Brigham City.

I had the most wonderful time tent camping with Al & Jeri! They were both so welcoming and sweet <3 Jeri even brought me a wagon to help make loading my car easier. The campsites were very clean and there’s a common area with a hammock and some other things that are open for use! The location is so beautiful. I went solo camping and I felt very safe and comfortable. The freeway and train tracks are very close by but I love white noise so it didn’t bother me at all, overall an amazing experience and I will be coming back with friends and family!

They were easy going and offered an upgrade to a pull thru site for no charge without me asking.
Hipcamp didn’t mention that the park has a 15 year age limit which is concerning to me as my RV is reaching that age. I hope that doesn’t cause me an impact in the next year.

We loved the farm animals and the gardens were amazing. The turkeys and chickens roamed around but weren't a nuisance. They were entertaining. Had a great bike ride to Hyrum reservoir. Nate was an interesting host giving us a tour of the farm. We ended up buying farm fresh eggs and raspberries. Also shared a fire and smores with a charming family from Salt Lake. Highly recommend this camp experience

We loved our stay at Steep Mountain Farm. We were welcomed and given a nice play to set up our tent, followed by a lovely tour of the farm to see the chickens, turkeys, and goats. Thank you for being lovely hosts.
