Conveniently located between Park city and Salt Lake City this unique hidden gem is sure to satisfy your Wanderlust and adventure goals! Bring your RV or motor home and park on our nice hard surfaced area immediately next to our little river in our quiet mountain canyon! We have power pulled from our house with a long extension cord, and it is a 20 amp breaker (sufficient to run our AC unit in our Airstream) we also have culinary water with a hose that extends to the area for you to fill up, but we do not have sewer connection. There’s a natural hot spring down the road you can fill up your water bottles in which tastes delicious and we are surrounded by hiking trails. Watch out for moose deer, wild turkey, coyotes, river, otter, owls, and more! We have mountain bikes, available for rent full suspension wonderful bikes with helmets and there is a amazing trail up the road from us! We also have two kayaks available for rent and you are six minutes from a beautiful reservoir that allows you to paddle around for a five dollar fee paid to the park entrance. If your total length for your tow vehicle and your trailer, are too long, you will have a hard time getting turned around to head back down the canyon to properly park in the gravel spot. Please ensure your overall length works.

You will have access to the entire basement apartment you’ll have your private entrance and it’s not shared with anyone. You’ll have access to the bathroom attached and have your own unit laundry. I live on site in the primary part of the home full-time. I travel a lot and I work down in the valley and sometimes work from home. I am quiet and clean and respectful and I love hosting! I love interacting in a meeting my guests, but I let you take the lead and I will be mindful of your privacy. Keep in mind that because this is my primary residence. There are some times that I decide to have friends over for fun gatherings, and sometimes you can hear music and socializing out on the decks by the fire pits or upstairs. I love ecstatic dance, and sometimes I have dance parties at my house. If I’m going to be having one of these and it overlaps with your stay, I will let you know and you may even be invited. I have two resident kitty cats (not allowed in the apartment space you are renting), a Siamese cat named sushi and white and gray goddess names "LIL Libby", and they are responsible to keep the mice away! Lots of mice up here! Keep in mind in the mountains there’s lots of bugs, keep the nice screen slider closed and you can enjoy the sounds of the water and possibly coyotes at night. I have professional pest control services with human and pet friendly chemicals but if you sight bugs from time to time, it’s just part of the experience and it doesn’t mean that it’s not clean. It’s definitely not out of hand, but I wanted to make sure to disclose that aspect of living in the mountains! Please let me know if you need anything and I’m happy to help. If you are traveling with a dog, I am pet friendly however I do not allow pets on furniture and you’re promising to leave. No sign that there was an animal on site. This means that you must use whatever means necessary to remove any animal hair and Clean Up after your pet outside. I provide you with a nice vacuum, a broom and a dustpan as well as some lint rollers. Please read my house rules to learn more about pet policies and the pet fee ($35/night)

Mountain RV Parking Next to River!
It was a quiet place, away from the city crowd, which is exactly what I wanted. I got there after dark, and it was easy to find. Only thing I didn’t like was there was garbage, vehicle parts on the ground, and even a bad of dog poop which we stepped on in the spot where we camped. Could have been cleaner, but the scenery made up for it

While this location is beautiful, we only stayed overnight. I wish I could’ve seen more. The shiny tiny was convenient since it was colder out that night. Chad was very good at communicating once he saw my messages. Thank you!

Pretty small space, steep road to get to the location. I have a 26' trailer and decided not try to get into the spot. I tried to contact the property owner via Hipcamp, but he never responded. Beautiful area.

Chads place was a nice little spot and he was very responsive to any questions or needs that I had. I would definitely recommend this as a place to stay if you’re in the area.

We had a wonderful stay, the spleshing of the river is so calming and the hikes on the nearby trails are simply amazing. The road is nearby, but not busy at all.

Pros: Love the location and the trailer by the creek. The owner was very nice and the place was very affordable. Cons: when i arrived and got the shower, I started it and ran out of water. Contacted the owner and he had forgotten to fill up the tank. Proceeded to take a shower and no hot water. I checked the propane tank which was empty and contacted the owner again and he came down and said after checking it, that the hot water should be good in 10-20 minutes. Tried it again and never could get any hot water. The owner did offer for me to take a shower in the guest house but it was late and just wanted to go to bed by then. Overall he was very nice, just wasn’t on top of his rental as all that should have been checked before arriving.

It's a cozy little site, very quiet, next to a murmuring creek and a narrow footpath higher up into the beautiful nature where you can get wide views over the surrounding landscape. The host is very friendly, introduces you to the technical details and helps backing in the RV. Site is level, gravelled, between low trees/brushes. Can get cold in the night, even in August! :-)

Mountain RV Parking Next to River!
The setting was beautiful. The cool mountain air was crisp. Chad was friendly and gave us several recommendations for hiking/biking trails nearby. The size of the lot was not as advertised. The posting said 47 feet. Our trailer is 27 feet, and with our towing rig, 47 feet long. Our trailer did not fit. It was too tight. When you walked out the door, you hit a tree. When we popped out the slide out, it hit the vegetation and rocks. The trailer measures 8 feet wide and that was too big for the small space. We had to park the truck at a weird angle to get off of the narrow road. I would NOT recommend this site to anyone towing more than 20 feet. This site is perfect for a small camper van, tents or a pop up tent trailer.

This place was great! The sounds of the creek were nice. The host was great and very helpful. The hangout area behind our teardrop camper was a little small since we had our two dogs, but the road was great for walks with them so it worked out just fine. The spring down the road is delicious. Looks like there is a lot to do around the area, we were just stopping overnight on a road trip so didn’t have time for much.

Very peaceful with the little stream running behind the spot. My class C was a bit of a tight fit but it worked. Chad was an amazing host and the area is very scenic. There is also a hiking trail 3-5 minutes up the road. The spot itself is very private feeling with trees surrounding. This location is also starlink friendly.

I appreciated Chad's hospitality, communication, and help navigating to the spot in the dark. The drive back to the canyon was great at night and the roads were clear and maintained in the winter (I was worried - Chad assured me they are safe). I woke up to the most amazing views, snow covered trees, and the running river completed the whole thing! I felt like I was in Narnia. Beautiful spot. Great host. Highly recommend. Thanks Chad!

Great spot. Beautiful. Very light traffic. Quiet. A nice walking trail just 50 yards up the road. Out of the way yet only 15 minutes or so to Foot Hill Road. Super easy access over the pass to I80, Park City, etc.. Just off the road, behind the Tiny Shiny Airstream, was a place for our Sprinter Van. Between the Sprinter and the Airstream, we and our dogs were quite comfortable. If you're looking for something close to SLC that feels like you're not in a city, Chad's place is well worth your consideration.

My girlfriend and i absolutely adored our short stay at chad’s airstream. Chad was super helpful in acclimating us to his quaint camper and even recommended some local mtb trails to get gnar on. He made sure we had paper towels and stuff to shower with and cook with. 10/10 service! You will not regret booking with this stand up dude and shiny abode. -aidan

The stream next to the site was so relaxing. And we loved the beautiful scenery all around. And I think some turkeys visited. Haha
