Mountain Desert at its best. Learn more about this land: If you are on your way somewhere and need a place to campout, consider stoping here. In the spring when the creek is full, it is a fun place for kids to play (it dries up in July usually). There is a lot of open space. We have a trampoline and swing and fire pit we can share (fire pit for spring and early summer only). It's very peaceful out here. There are tons of flat roads to ride bikes safely on. It's 30 mins from Bear Lake, 20 Minutes from Monte Cristo. There is fishing nearby and a park around the corner. 15-20 amp electrical hookup (just a standard household plug with an extension cord) and water as well. We have kids who love to make you feel welcome and play with your kids too.If you are on your way somewhere and need a place to campout, consider stoping here. This camp was in a really pretty spot. Green grass with a creek on the edge of the property. It isn't set up well for privacy. Site options were either right next to the owners house or in a mowed grassy spot. I chose the grass but the ground was not leveled out or hardened for a trailer. No hookups. Owner warned me about their cat that was aggressive towards dogs. So, unfortunately I could not leave my dog tied outside my trailer without me.

This stop suited us well. It’s easy to find and we found a nice, level spot just off the driveway for our 21 foot campervan. We were able to open out the side “patio” towards a creek and felt very private, even though we were fairly close to the house. The community is small and quiet.

It’s a quiet street with beautiful views. I felt safe here and would stay again. I didn’t have any signal with Verizon so Kory was kind and took screenshots of the directions for me. If you have ATT, you’ll be fine. Thanks for being dog friendly too! A sweet cat lives here.

Great place to stay en route to Grand Teton and Yellowstone. Very convenient, quiet, easy to park, etc. Heather and her family were wonderful hosts, and we really enjoyed meeting them. Our kids loved being able to run around and play with new friends. Highly recommended!
