Well the campsite is great over all.. The only priblem i have the bathroom is really close and in summer time can be a little smelly. I had campnin another spots and they really rock . The campground its good above all critics.

We always love camping at Bear Lake. The facilities are what you would expect at an old boy scout camp and we are used to rought camping so its perfect. The views are to die for and the camp host Mary is awesome. She is always trying to make our experience better.

⭐️⭐️⭐️☆☆ (location carries it—Mother Nature is doing the heavy lifting) Here’s the good, the okay, and the “this really needs a maintenance budget.” The Great: You can’t beat the location. Right on Bear Lake with easy beach access, stunning views, and that unreal blue water, it’s the main reason to stay here. The camp host was also friendly and welcoming. The Okay: The showers are functional. Warm enough to avoid a cold shock, but don’t expect anything fancy. They get the job done, which is about all you can ask for at a campground. Needs Work: This is where things fall apart. The restroom building is in rough shape—honestly, we’d prefer a clean pit toilet. The picnic tables and covers are also worn out and need replacing. The biggest concern was the overgrown grass covering driving and camping areas. In dry conditions and fire season, that feels risky—one spark could be a serious problem. Overall, the location is incredible, but maintenance is clearly lacking. With some investment and upkeep, this could be a top-tier campground. Right now, Bear Lake itself is doing most of the work.

Our family loves coming to this campground. It is definitely not glamping, but that is what we enjoy about it. The proximity to the lake and the views can’t be beat. Wish dogs were still allowed though.

I've tent camped here for several years. I love it! The camp sites are large, the camp is quiet. This side of the lake is calm and quiet and not crowded. I'll be coming here for years to come.

The lake and beach are fantastic but the campground and its infrastructure are more than in need of repair: toilets, showers, roads and campsite structures are in very poor shape. Checkout is before 10am and I’ve not yet heard back from the management after reaching out with a question. The price is too high for how little money flows back into maintenance and upgrades.

This is our 3rd year coming with our family and it was the most perfect 4th of July! Our hosts were amazing and incredibly helpful. We are definitely looking forward to next year's trip! Our spot was close enough to the bathrooms making quick trips with kids very easy. The water was very close as well about a 2 min walk and the showers are warm when they're not too busy but loved having this amenity! The bathroom are a bit rusty. Overall 10/10 we definitely recommend this camp!

I loved camping at the BSA! I booked my partner and I Site 1 and it was so worth it, and arguably one of the best sites from what I could tell. While it is more primitive camping, the bathrooms were really clean and the showers were nice and warm too. Our site was a little further from the showers, but a little walk didn’t hurt! We loved hearing the water on the shore from our tent, and we had a gorgeous view of the water. The beach is perfect too, with a few feet of rocks before getting sandy. The sunset on the beach was spectacular. We definitely would book again. The only downside is the distance from Garden City, which is about 25 minutes, but Laketown is close by and they have places to eat too. Overall, we loved it and we would definitely book again, probably with a bigger group next time! The hosts were the sweetest, checking in on us when we got there and actively working around the campground, you can definitely tell they care deeply for this place. We loved it!

There's nothing else quite like waking up to "waterfront" property. Literally, our tent's site had a beach for the front yard.😄 We had our watercraft anchored right there, so we could wake up in the morning, & catch the glassy morning water!💦 A M A Z I N G!!!!💜 The site was well kept, NOT full of trash; and very quiet!😊 The camp hosts are the sweetest most helpful people! We'll be back next year!🏕️

The site itself was beautiful as was the lake. The toilets were truly awful and there was a huge amount of wasps around the campsite that stung and were aggressive. There was also lots of trash around the campsite. Overall great for the location and views but there were some major issues that interfered with our ability to enjoy the time.

Beautiful views, very kind hosts. Loved the hot showers and potable water access. Each site was far enough apart that it felt private. Picnic area was clean and great for early morning conversation. Would stay here again!

$80 a night for a tent site in a run down dilapidated location is not my idea of money well spent. My guess is the original owners or the parents put some money into this place a long time ago and then the kids got it and just let it go to crap. For half the amount you can have a full hook up site at rendezvous Beach.

The camping at BLAB is easy. Beach access to the water is close and its very quiet. The lake is gorgeous. The camp host is quick to respond and very helpful. The bathrooms are a rustic but kept very clean.
