We live in a sweet, little farm town with recreation all around us! We have biking and hiking trails, natural hot springs, Silver Creek fishing and canoeing/rafting/swimming all within 15 minutes from camp. We are 20 minutes west of Craters of the Moon National Park, 15 minutes from Silver Creek Preserve, 1hr from Shoshone Falls, 1hr from Sun Valley and 1 hr 30 minutes from Hagerman hot springs and fossil beds.
Our 1/2 acre straw bale camp is open for two Hipcamp sites, divided by a natural privacy fence. There is plenty of space at camp for yard games, running around and playing. You can feel good about letting your children run free, as the entire camp is enclosed.
We live next door to camp and are kitty corner from the Oasis/Exxon station that provides RV dump, propane, fresh water, wifi and air fill up.

It is a family operated ranch so young and the old can be found around the ranch engrossed in varies activities. Horses, dogs, cows, and a wide variety of birds are a given to be seen but you might get lucky and catch a glimpse of antelope, mule deer, elk, or even a moose.Learn more about this land:Pitch your tent at Cottonwood Ranch in O'Neil Basin. Family owned and operated the 30 mile long dirt driveway is well worth the trip. The RV and campsites are located adjacent to the barnyard area. It is a very laid back, non- fancy, rustically ranch atmosphere. We invite you to share in what we call home and make your self at home during your stay. There are full service RV spots and available camping sites to pitch a tent. RV sites are $40/night and camping $20/night. The headquarters of the ranch is surrounded by private meadows used for livestock and wildlife throughout the year. Cottonwood Creak meanders along side the corral down through the heart of the meadows. Irrigation ditches run close by the camp sites which makes for a fun splash pad for the kiddos. Access to the wilderness trail-heads varies upon direction of drive, the longest perhaps a 1 1/2 hr drive to the boundary looking out across the Jarbidge Peaks. There is also miles upon miles of 2-track roads that traverse the foothills ideal for ATV use.Horses are usually wrangled out of the meadows everyday for various ranch work but you would have a chance to view the horses while in the corral. Upon inquiry during your stay there might be other activities going on such as helping feed orphaned calves, pet a horse, livestock sorting, etc.Dogs are a big part of the ranch. Most of the resident dogs are working livestock dogs border collie mix type dogs. They are all very friendly.

Welcome to The Bullock Ranch in the heart of The Owyhee Canyonlands, we look forward to meeting you. We are a small 5 acre ranch located off Hwy 78 (40 mins from Downtown Boise) with many outdoor recreational activities nearby. We have 3 dogs named BRZee, Baxter and Cinder who will greet you upon arrival and we have three horses named Clyde, Grease and Partner and a wonderful friendly miniature donkey named Sancho. We also have free range chickens and a friendly rooster named King Henry who will get your morning going! We hope you book with us and enjoy your stay!!
Here are some nearby attractions: Wilson Creek Trail Head for mountain biking and hiking, ATV access right from the campsites, Givens Hot Springs and CJ Strike Reservoir just a few minutes away. Spend a day up in Silver City and enjoy the old mining history, ATV access. The Owyhee County Historical Museum is 2 miles down the road and is amazing depository of history, a must see. Mountain View Motor Rentals in Murphy has ATV rentals available to enjoy. Take a short drive and try to catch a glimpse of the wild mustang herd nearby.
Campsite Descriptions: We are only offering 2 sites at this time. We have a level tent site and a RV site with 30 amp electrical hook up. We do charge $5.00 a day for electrical hookup. Round about drive way for easy access of trailers. Campfires will be allowed except in the case of a burn ban. We will have 1 open fire pit at site #1 and 1 covered fire pit available for use at site #2. Please bring your own firewood. Refunds: We will set the refund policy for 100% up to 3 days prior to check in. Please do a check on the weather outlook at least 3 days before you arrive to see if the weather will be nice for at least part of your stay. If you cancel within 3 days before your arrival, I am sorry but the system won't provide a refund. If you need to cancel, please cancel at least 3 days prior to your arrival

Baby Bigfoot had no where to go but the river, he was saved by a school of salmon who by Deus ex machina and the Idaho river God, Beeraspirits transformed Bigfoot and the Alpha 15 pound papa salmon into the Sawtooth Monkey. When SM hit puberty he developed a skin condition and an appetite for coconuts. He is currently friendly but a nuisance, because of his skin problems he is known for stealing ointment, lotions and sunscreen. Also, because of his love for coconuts, he is known for steal those too. Should you confront or come in contact with this elusive creature, please don't feed him anything but coconuts.
