Stayed in #60, an A-framed structure about 200sq/ft with electricity, AC, heat, and windows that view the sky. Site has a picnic table, fire pit, and chairs around the fire. Very comfortable bedding. Beautiful and quiet grounds. Well maintained. Bathrooms and showers are a 10/10. Justin at the store/clubhouse is top notch and a great host with great recommendations to local hikes and restaurants. There is also a cool dog park area that is fenced in and has some fun obstacles for them. All in all this place is awesome and we cannot wait to come back.

The A-Frame tent, and campgrounds in general, were pristine: clean, nicely appointed, and surrounded by stunning mountain views. We can't recommend this campground highly enough--a much welcomed newcomer to the Capitol Reef area!

I liked that it was not directly off Hwy 12 and it does have a nice view of the gorgeous red cliffs. I could only stream using wifi in the mornings but was unable to at night when others were most likely also trying to use it. It was nice having a single occupancy toilet and shower for security. I'm not a fan of showers being on a timer. The one I used allowed 12 minutes. It took 2 minutes for the water to get hot. And while the remaining 10 minutes was ample for my shower, I didnt enjoy hearing the warning beep counting down minute by minute making me feel rushed. Also, I'm just over 5ft 6in with long arms and could just barely reach the on button to turn on the shower, so be aware if you are shorter than me and test if you can reach it before undressing. There's a sign mentioning this and it suggests using the ADA showers if you can't reach the button. For those needing an ADA shower, there's a bamboo bench but not a true ADA shower chair. Lastly, there wasn't an exhaust fan in the shower, so drying your hair is difficult unless you just open the door to the outside. I confess that I just got dressed and moved to a different shower/toilet to dry my hair. And while its easy to do, you'll have to unplug the hand dryer to use an outlet.

What an absolutely beautiful stay!! The cabin itself is so comfortable and clean! The restrooms are a short walk away and there are 10 full private bathrooms with shower, sink and toilet. The store offers snacks and souvenirs as well as ice and firewood. The star gazing here is a AMAZING!!

We loved staying at this amazing spot. The bathrooms were so clean, showers were hot, and waking up to the views was phenomenal. With Capitol Reef only being 11 minutes away and having these facilities that are flawless, there’s no reason not to stay here. Highly recommend!

Our stay at Capitol Reef RV Park was good. While a bit further from the national park than I expected, the views were beautiful.
I had been frustrated to find that I booked a specific site (44), but when I got there the spot was taken. I had to go to the front desk and they were unable to give me my spot and moved me to another one that was open. So just note that their system is new and will likely kick you out of the spot you booked (it sounded like this had occurred before).
We especially appreciated the hot showers and private bathrooms which were new, clean, and stocked (but bring your own towels!). Note that some of the bathrooms had warm air, while others were cool. Some also gave a longer shower limit (we found some gave 12 minutes, while others just 8 minutes). The signs indicate a 3 minute hold after the timer goes off, but it’s actually 5 minutes. The shower doors are also a bit short, resulting in the floor mat outside the shower getting drenched and water pooling on the floor. Despite these things, having a hot shower was glorious after days of hiking.
There were some noises later at night than I would hope from neighboring RV’s (specifically a yapping dog at 10:30pm for about 15 minutes).
Overall, this is one of the nicest hipp camps I’ve been to, especially for the price and location. There are still some things that need to be optimized as the new facilities get up and running.

super nice amenities. brand new bathrooms with showers (much needed for us after being on the road and living out of a van for a week). Raquel and her staff were extremely welcoming, helpful, and generous. there is amazing stargazing due to the flatness of the surrounding land but amazing views of the snow capped mountains and red rocks across the way. highly recommend

Hey, for those of you who like off season camping this is a go-to! Capitol Reef NP needs a new place to come in and enjoy. Enter Capitol Reef RV park & A frames in Teasdale, UT. We enjoyed the generous spacing.. well to say it better, we had the RV park all to ourselves. Views of red canyon cliffs in the morning just stunning. The ease of getting to Capitol Reef NP just a quick drive. We happen to love off season 1) cool weather for hiking 2) no crowds 3) prices for RV space much lower.
Just an idea for fellow travelers who like the same. I’m not into bougie restaurants or coffee latte’s. Just enjoy simple life. Also a shout out to Howie’s gas station in Bicknell! Helped RV when it needed propane. Thanks!
Come to Capitol Reef, the underrated National Park of the big 5 in Utah. Stay here! :-)

Escalante is a great stop between Capital Reef and Bryce. Cute little town. Raquel’s site was perfect. Clean bathhouse and very friendly staff.

This RV campground is a work in progress. Taking that into consideration, the location was great, hookups were fine. However, we attempted to contact the owner about Wi-Fi and never received any contact back, in spite of the fact that we were told in the instructions to make contact when we arrived.
