Our original Tiny House model. This home sits at the top of the hill and looks out across the property, surrounding mountains, and beautiful canyons. This home is our largest at 570 square feet with 400 square feet on the main level, a 12 foot ceiling to an open loft adding an additional 170 square feet, and a feeling of openness.
The master bedroom features a queen sized bed, a flat screen smart TV, a small desktop work space that is convenient for working on a laptop or getting ready for the day, clothes hanging, additional storage space under the bed for luggage, and a thermostat for individual climate control.
The loft area is open to the kitchen and living room and has two XL (Extra Long) twin beds. This is a great space to play games, store extra gear, or just stretch out and relax. The ceiling height is just under 5 feet so you big kids don't plan on running around up there.
The kitchen and living room is an open floor plan with a large sliding door that opens to the deck and beautiful views. The living room has a queen sized sofa sleeper, two lounging chairs, a hand crafted coffee table with storage of extra bedding, and large smart TV. The kitchen is well stocked with kitchen essentials, beautiful stainless steel appliances, a convection microwave oven for cooking and baking, a stove-top, a large refrigerator, a keurig coffee machine, granite counter-tops, farmhouse sink, dishwasher, and a table/prep island with seating for four.
Bathroom: Large glass shower, sink, toilet, hair dryer, towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and hand soap.
Deck and exterior features include a propane bbq grill, four large Adirondack lounge chairs, private fire pit, astounding views, and breathtaking star gazing.

We built this Tiny home and lived in it for 8 years as we built our forever home. Many wonderful memories have been made in this tiny house and it is now available as a short term rental for others to create their own memories. Unplug from technology and reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape.
The space
This Tiny House on wheels measures 8’x 24’ at 180 square feet. It is very cozy and comfortable. We do live on the property with two small dogs (friendly) and chickens (contained). A privacy fence separates the homes. The drive way is shared by guests and property owners.

We provide coffee, tea assortment, creamer, sugar, spices, olive and avocado oils, and Farm Fresh eggs.
Bathroom has a flush toilet, 36” shower stall with body wash, shampoo & conditioner dispenser. Bath towels, toilet paper, blow dryer, and small iron.
The sleeping loft upstairs has a full size bed and small chest of drawers to keep clothing in. There is an extra fan for warmer if needed.
The living area has a futon couch that makes into a full size bed. There is a speaker available to listen to music but no television.
Out doors you will find a propane bbq pit, fire pit, firewood, and sitting area to enjoy the nights sky after a long day of traveling or hiking.

When you exit Hwy 12 onto Road 200 West our driveway is to your immediate left. You will see the Grover Getaway sign at the beginning of the driveway. Follow the drive up then around to your right, arrow will indicate the turn. There will be a lower and upper guest parking area both marked with signs. You can park in either spot.

Weekend Trip to Cave Stay and swimming hole
Grant’s cave really blew our minds, it’s such a cool and crazy place to stay and hang out, and even more impressive that Grant did it all himself. The surrounding landscape, swimming hole, horses, and serenity made it an awesome weekend trip. We also enjoyed that it’s right down the road from the infamous Hell’s Backbone Grill. We had a wonderful stay at Canyons of Escalante RV Park. The entire property is spotless—easily the cleanest facilities we’ve seen on the road. The showers, restrooms, and laundry were immaculate, and the amenities are top-notch: fast Wi-Fi, private showers, a well-kept dog park, shady picnic areas, and beautiful landscaping.
What really made our visit exceptional was Ben. When we had a mechanical failure, he went out of his way to help us—far beyond what we expected. His kindness and support turned a stressful moment into a manageable one, and we’re incredibly grateful.
This park is a gem—quiet, clean, and close to incredible hiking and scenic drives. Highly recommend it, and we’ll definitely be back!

The cabin is the perfect size for having a home base at the end of a day of adventuring. The king size bed was comfy, but the pillows were thin and we only got one each which was a little uncomfortable. The grounds are well maintained and well lit at night with motion lights so it feels safe and secure. We had a nice, relaxing time!

Only downside is that it is FF and only has five spots. It is primitive with pack-out for trash and no water but with planning it makes a great little spot off the main path to use as a base to explore and enjoy the stars. Can get a bit windy but tent was I to the challenge. Road could be a challenge after heavy rains.

Red Rock Majesty
Capitol Reef is easily my favorite of the Utah parks. The Waterpocket Fold is mind-blowing, and the Hickman Bridge hike is a must-do for some incredible views without the soul-crushing crowds you find at other parks. Make sure to drive the Scenic Drive all the way to Capitol Gorge—walking through the "wash" between those massive canyon walls is an unforgettable experience. 10/10 would recommend for anyone who loves rugged beauty and peace.

Absolutely Stunning!
Stunning national park with beautiful vistas on every curve. We visited in late October and the crowds were minimal. The beautiful Fall weather added to our enjoyment.

Beautiful visit in late October. Caught the leaves changing. It was great to see water in the Freemont River this late in the season.

The park campgrounds were full when we arrived and the rangers directed us to a forest service campground 1/2 hour outside the park. I still remember the large sites and the sweet smell of pine needles
