Once home to native tribes, Pocahontas' great grandson is buried nearby and "the spot" where Capt. John Smith was saved by Pocahontas is less than a mile away. Later, the property was deeded as Cobb's plantation and saw action as a civil war river lookout.
Walthall creek is the old channel, that once carried supplies to soldiers and supported a school for the blind. Now, a quiet passage for kayaks and recreational boats it is a retreat you will certainly revisit!
We are nestled on 5 acres neighbored by a 177 acre park (with thick woods and miles of trails) and a few good-hearted neighbors. Just steps away from your abode is a grand dock loaded with a tiki bar, grill, and an endless waterway!
Seasonal garden veggies, herbs, eggs and lots of southern warmth await you!
Bring your boat, bike, kayak, fishing rod, floaty, some delish eats and you are all set!
There is even an Art studio for the creative in you!

Lovely place run by a talented lady
This was a beautiful area to camp in. We enjoyed the lovely hospitality, landscaping and the animals were a hoot. Outside of a non-stop crowing rooster and some car horns at the local park, it was a really nice weekend.

Riverview RV hookup (30amp-compact)
What a great way to spend a peaceful holiday weekend away from the crowded campgrounds! At Amy’s we could hang out on the dock at the river, have fun with the variety of animals and enjoy beautiful landscaping. While the days were warm there was always a beautiful breeze to keep us cool and keep the fire going in the evening. We followed the detailed directions straight to this wonderful oasis!

I took my 5-year-old here for her very first camping excursion and she was amazed at all the cool animals. We even got to hang out on the river and fish for a little while too which was awesome! Amy even set us up with crafts to do from the coolest art room I've ever seen. 10 out of 10 would recommend to a family looking to begin their camping journey.

Hard to believe such a beautiful place is tucked away here. Amy was very friendly and accommodating, and the property has so much stuff to do. The campsites were all clean, and the sounds of nature were abundant, in the best way possible! THANKS AMY!!!
