Don't bother with the tent sites
Here’s a revised version of your review that maintains the honesty and constructive tone, while improving clarity and flow:

We had a hard time finding the entrance to the site—it took us three passes before we finally spotted it. Better signage would really help.
The yurt sites looked lovely and are set right on the river, which seems like a great option. Unfortunately, the tent sites leave a lot to be desired. There were no picnic tables, no river views, and no clearly defined or cleared camping areas—just an open field. The nearest port-a-potty was about 300 yards away. On top of that, the bugs were intense—mosquitoes, horseflies, and more.
We asked the host if we could park near one of the vacant yurts for a better view, as we were just sleeping in the car and wouldn’t have disturbed anything. He declined, saying those sites were reserved. However, the next morning, all the yurt sites were still empty, which was disappointing.
Overall, this might be a good spot in spring or fall when bugs are less of an issue—and if you're staying in one of the yurts by the river. But for tent campers in summer, the experience was underwhelming. I also wish the host had been more transparent with us—it might have allowed for a better outcome. As it was, the trip didn’t live up to expectations.
