I genuinely can't say enough good things about this stay. The geodesic dome was stunning, incredibly clean, modern and thoughtfully designed while still feeling cozy and connected to nature. Inside, the second bed positioned for a direct view of the sky was such a unique and romantic touch. Falling asleep under the stars from inside the dome was unforgettable.
The private hot tub and sauna made it easy to completely unwind, especially at night. Sitting under the starts with music playing was easily one of the highlights. The night sky views were unreal. The fire pit with grilling utensils and the outdoor dining area made for perfect meals and a comfortable dining experience.
Trevor was so incredibly kind and attentive to every need. He personally called me and walked me through how to use the wood burning hot tub, as well as how to open and close the skylight observation window. He was always a call away and readily available to provide more firewood or address any questions about the property.
This was my favorite glamping experience thus far. It was peaceful and private, with awe inspiring views and opportunities to make memories for a lifetime (also close to Richmond and Charlottesville). I'd easily recommend to anyone looking for a romantic getaway or much needed reset.

Trevor was such a cool guy! He came over after we got settled and made sure we were all set for our stay. The peace and serenity were such a treat for my boyfriend and I! The sauna and hot tub were an amazing way to wind down each day after our adventuring. The site felt very private and romantic with everything we needed! We were close enough to other towns to explore which was also super amazing! If you’re thinking about this retreat I 100% recommend! We can’t wait to come back soon! Thank you again!

Our stay at this wellness cabin was absolutely great. The space was peaceful, clean, and thoughtfully designed — exactly what we needed to relax and reset. The atmosphere made it easy to disconnect from daily stress and truly unwind. Every detail felt intentional, creating a calm and comfortable experience from start to finish.
If you’re looking for a quiet getaway focused on rest and wellness, this is definitely a place I would recommend. We left feeling refreshed and would gladly stay again.

We had an amazing 2 night stay at this beautiful cabin! The host,Trevor, was very nice and helpful! Hot tub, pizza oven and sauna were perfect! All the makings for our pizzas were there waiting for us which was a nice surprise! The property was clean, quiet, peaceful and very private! The cabin was really cute, very clean and well stocked for our 2 day trip! I highly recommend this property and this host for your next getaway! Everything exceeded my expectations and we would love to return!!!

My partner and I had such an amazing 2 night trip. The bed was super comfy and the cabin was really unique with a modern flare, yet warm and cozy inside. I highly recommend using the hot tub at night. It was so amazing sitting in there and looking up at the stars. Our host, Trevor, was wonderful. His hospitality, on making sure our stay, was flawless. 10 out of 10 for sure. We will definitely recommend this retreat. Thank you again, Trevor.

We had a wonderful time during our stay at this peaceful retreat. The hot tub, sauna, trails, and fire pit with homemade pizzas were absolutely amazing, and even better with the snowfall. It was a great place to stay and we would love to come back.

Overall we enjoyed our stay at River Bend! The sauna and hot tub were such a lovely treat and exactly what we needed to relax and recharge. The cabin is beautifully designed as well. Thanks for a peaceful getaway :)

We absolutely loved our stay. I went in stressed and came out relaxed. The place was beautifully designed and we loved the indoor/outdoor theme all throughout. The grounds were so serene and we took advantage of all the fun wellness amenities. Trevor was a wonderful host and we would recommend to anyone!

This place was perfect for an overnight getaway! The accommodations were wonderful, and Trevor made us feel welcome! I loved this little secluded retreat! I'm a 42 yr old female and I felt completely safe staying there by myself. The only two things I'll mention that I think people should be aware of. One is that the toilet is kinda more like a glorified outhouse. I've never seen anything like it and it was very awkward to use. I wound up just using the woods after a couple of uses. The other thing was that the bed was difficult getting into and out of due to the railing of the sliding door; and I'm a small flexile person. I think anyone larger than me would struggle. I really enjoyed my stay, but I think those are two major things renters should be aware of in case they are important to you.

Great little place to get away from it all! The cabin was beautiful and clean. The hot tub worked great and Trevor gave us a little run down on how everything worked. We had pizza for dinner and had a great time! Wish we could’ve stayed longer.
