Shepherd's Tavern Farm
Dave's property is remote but easily accessible. The property sites are visible but well spaced apart. Both had electrical and water available. The road noise was noticeable but died off at night. The only thing we heard in the morning was the "clip clop" of the horse drawn buggies of local farmers.
Dave was very friendly and knowledgably about the area and local history.
The weather was beautiful, which made our stay that much better.
We will definitely stay again and highly recommend.

Quiet spot with beautiful stars (Milky Way) and Amish wagons going by. Plenty of water and 120v power. Stations of the Cross walk was very well done .

I stayed two nights to take a long bike ride on the nearby High Bridge Trail. It was peaceful, nice, beautiful stars and the clopping of the Amish wagons going by. Host checked in to make sure everything was fine. Would definitely recommend, espeically for Trail users.

Several options available. The spot I chose was a nice private area. The sunset colors over the fields and trees were amazing! Dave was very friendly and personable; he greeted us with a smile when we arrived. Great place to stay!

This was a great quiet spot. Sunset was amazing. Horse and buggies going down the road made for a great end to our day. Dave was a gracious host and I would definitely recommend this place to others.

Fantastic stay at Shepherd's Tavern Farm with the RV. Easy access to electric and water and Dave was a great host. The views across the fields to the sunset are amazing, and be sure to opt for the fresh eggs. Will definitely stay again next time we RV!

I enjoyed camping out. The flowers and wild berries in the meadow were filled with birds and butterflies during the day and by dusk fireflies lit up the night.

Dave's was a wonderful, affordable, farm experience. Nice big fire pit with plenty of area for tents. Dave provided lots of firewood and even a bucket toilet with pop up privacy tent. There is very limited cell service at Dave's property. Lots of cute animals. The roosters made a good alarm clock around 6am. Was some road noise when camping close to the house, but it settled down during the night. Beautiful views day and night!

Beautiful property, with chickens and goats there to meet & greet us when we arrived. We saw a couple of horse & buggies pass by on the road. The stars were amazing, and we got to gaze at the milky way all night. Took a walk around the field in the morning and found some wild blackberries (yum!). Host was informative, had a bucket toilet available just in case, and the fire pit was a great touch. Sunrise was beautiful as well.

Dave's place was an excellent place for my son and me. We arrived by car with a canvas tent and set up in beautiful field with lightning bugs galore. Dave greeted us and shared local knowledge and his vision for the place...I recommend this. It was our first ever HipCamp experience, and a good first impression was made.

Dave, was a very gracious and hospitable host. He met us when we arrived, reviewed a map of the property, and offered feedback on good camping spots. There are many trails traversing the farm that my son and I greatly enjoyed. The communal fire pit was stocked with wood and located in a spot that allowed for amazing star gazing. We also were able to observe Amish horse and buggies travelling along the road at night. A most enjoyable stay at Dave's property!

Fantastic land and host. Definitely would stay there again if I was camping in the area. Dave is very nice and will help in any way he can to make your stay better. If you decide to stay here keep the area clean when you leave for Dave and future campers
