Plenty of sunshine during the day and starlight at night. This camp is a short walk downhill from the parking area. If you have 4x4 you can drive to your camp. Be sure to bring headlamps and all your camping gear!

This site is also beside Zion church road so you can see some traffic passing on the bridge above you but overall the site is very peaceful. There is room for a lot of tents. Plenty of room to spread out and have a big fire too.

If all you need is a safe place to park overnight we got you! You will have access to our campground, restroom, shower and amenities. We don’t have power or water hookup or WiFi or anything except sunshine and creek and German Shepards. Well we have a bathroom and shower and a garden hose spigot and a flat space for you to park your van. No hot water either but we think a cold shower is rejuvenating and fun to do at least every so often. It’s important to note that this site can only accommodate a van or truck with small trailer. The road leading to the campground area is too rough for a big camper and rvs. It has a steep turn that would be too much. We have a video that shows the road on YouTube. TripleJFarmShelbyNC is our username. Look for the video that says guide to campground. This way you know in advance. While you are here feel free to roam and hike along the trails and just enjoy the peace of being in nature. Hangout by the creek or play horseshoes. We are building a massive food forest campground dog paradise. If you want to play on a farm and help out we have workshops where you can see what it would be like working on a farm. Those are available on Hipcamp and help support our farm. We have a pack of German Shepards too. They are super friendly and smart. All they want is for you to throw a rock or stick. When driving on the land please go slow. They all respond to puppy. If you have pets they are also welcome just give us a heads up so we can introduce them properly. We hope to host you soon!

Cool off down by the creek this fall by staying in our little yurt. It is nestled by the creek with a balcony and swing overlooking the creek, dining area and beach fire pit. During the day you can explore the campground and at night you can stay up late roasting marshmallows. The yurt is open and airy. Perfect for several sleeping bags. There is a dining table, four chairs, a wood grill, and a balcony with a porch swing. Most people still have cell service by the creek. There is not any WiFi. Make sure to bring flashlights and lanters and headlamps. It gets dark out here in the country! The parking area is a short walk from your yurt. You will need to walk down a steep dirt road and across two small streams to get to your camp. Wear shoes that can get muddy and protect your feet. There are many amenities available to all guests on our campground. Beach toys by the creek, gold pans and classifier equipment for rock hunting and gold panning. Cornhole and horseshoes. Birdwatching. Hiking trails. A misting station to cool off. Tables and chairs for relaxing in public areas. Make new friends with other campers as you practice your putting game. Fishing is not far away at Moss Lake a short drive and coming soon we will have some catfish in our Catfish Pond. The bathroom and shower are located close to the parking area. There is running water available at a sink. Important note** To reach this campsite you must walk down a steep hill. It’s not a long walk but the hill is steep. If you have mobility challenges you may have difficulty accessing the site.

Where do I begin!! Let's use the comment from the owner "this can be your home away from home"! We are so happy to have found this place. It's close to home and far enough away! The owners are so welcoming and attentive! From keeping up with us prior to our visit and promptly answering any messages to making sure we were settled and had everything we needed. The property was fun to explore. We had a 1 year old who loved going on adventures! Getting dirty and playing in the creek. There are veggies gardens to grab some home grown treats to use with our meals. Plenty of places to put a tent or more. The private Yurt looked inviting with its surroundings!! Watching the owners work and create more things for the guests was fun!! If you are a dog lover and like to travel with yours, this is the place. If your pet is other dog friendly there are many dog friends to make! We had several protectors during our stay. They were mindful and gentle. One female was even protective of my grandson! They loved when he dropped food! So if you are looking for a getaway whether you want privacy or a family adventure this is the place. We definitely will return, there is so much more we want to explore!! Thank you to both of you for everything!!

Yurt Camp by the Creek
The tent site was excellent. It was very private, with clean sheets, comfortable beds, and a well-maintained tent. The kids had a great time playing in the creek and especially enjoyed hiking the small loop after dark to see the fairy lights. The bathroom was cleaner and nicer than expected, making the stay even more enjoyable.

Really neat place! No true assigned camping, so you go to camp spot and set up wherever you want. This is a neat spot if you have littles that love adventures! Plenty of places to seek out!!!

The thing that stood out the most was how the hosts were very attentive and went out of there way to make us feel welcome on several occasions. They are relatively new to being camp hosts and still ironing out a few things but I would definitely camp there again.

We did the adventure camp and it was wonderful! Lots of trees and a little creek, it was quiet and peaceful. We went paddle boarding at John h moss lake and ended up driving to triple falls while we were there as well. We had a wonderful campfire and spent a lot of time relaxing in the hammock.

Yurt Camp by the Creek
We LOVED camping here ! We are not campers by sport and are in no way, experts but this was amazing. The property is sooo cute ! We went on a walk and picked a basketful of blackberries 🥰 The goats provided everything we needed to be comfy, the yurt area was perfect for our small family. The creek, swing, grill, and all. We loved it ! A really bad thunderstorm hit the night we stayed and we hunkered down and made it through. It was an experience we will NEVER forget and can't wait to visit again. Our kids loved them panning in the creek, and the shower - the outdoor shower was the favorite lol

I had a quiet, peaceful time at Triple J Farm. Jessica met me on arrival and led me out to the site. She helped me carry my stuff in and even came out at 10 p.m. to warn me there was a severe thunderstorm warning, and if I wanted to come in, I was welcome. The dogs on the property are super friendly. One even decided to hang out with me as I walked the creek. Even with the heat of summer, the air around the creek is cool and the water cooler. If you have sensitive feet, wear water shoes, lots of rocks, slate and mica. If you wanted to, you could definitely find some rough gems. The area is also heavy in wild blackberries. I was a little too early but still got to enjoy some sun-warmed juiciness! While there are plenty of spots to hang a hammock, I found a spot right next to the creek, where I peacefully finished a couple of books I was reading. It was beautiful! I’ll be back!
