Our charming tiny house/cabin is nestled on its own lot behind our home, surrounded by forest with stunning winter mountain views. Step outside your door and embark on scenic hikes to Bearwallow Mountain, Little Bearwallow pastures, or Wildcat Rock. Within a 30-minute radius, you'll find several other hiking trails in the Hickory Nut Gorge, recently renowned as a hiking mecca for Western North Carolina! Situated across from the Florence Preserve, spanning over 600 acres for exploration, and with mountain biking trails nearby, outdoor enthusiasts will find plenty to explore. Or just soak in the view while you soak in the hot tub! Our small cabin features one queen bed, a big TV with excellent wifi, and a full bath complete with a charming clawfoot tub! While there's no kitchen, we provide a microwave, mini-fridge, coffee press, and kettle for your convenience. Experience the coziest hotel room vibe ever with the added bonus of abundant outdoor space. Relax on the deck with a grill and a spacious fire pit, or feel free to set up your tent or hammocks amidst nature's embrace.Tiny cabin sleeps two with one queen bed. Up to 2 additional guest can sleep in hammocks or a tent in the yard. It is located on its own lot with your own parking. The lower lot of our property is all yours! Deck with gas grill and seating off the front of the cabin facing a big fire pit. Trees for hammocks and/ or grassy flat spots for tents, but the gem is the tiny house. Cozy, comfy queen bed with fullbath including claw foot tub! Heat or AC. Streaming TV with great wifi. Coffee press and kettle. Hot shower! Hot tub just added on the deck!

Rustic Hillside Hideaway

I loved this place, but my girlfriend loved it so much I had to promise that we’d come back! Cute tiny house with AC and a clean bathroom, the hot tub worked well, nice thoughtful touches like some extra toiletries and coffee and tea, and the hosts graciously had a camp fire already going when we arrived. It’s nearby some good hiking, low light pollution so you can see the stars, and there’s even a few fireflies at night. I recommend.

Rustic Hillside Hideaway

We had a fantastic stay! The room was perfect & the hot tub and fire pit were AMAZING! It was also in a perfect location! Super close to chimney rock and not too far from Asheville. John & his wife were incredibly warm and welcoming—so much so that when we accidentally left a bag outside while packing up, they found it & went out of their way to keep it safe until we returned later. Highly recommend!

Great little place! The claw foot tub was great after a long day hiking! Every restaurant we ate at that was recommended in the book was delicious! We had The Local Joint & Chimney Rock Smokehouse! The hot tub is a nice addition as it’s not in the photos I’m assuming it was added later. Cutest little cabin! The tv, drip coffee, fridge & microwave we’re just bonuses!
