Quaint, eclectic, quiet, homey. Those are just a few words to describe Peace of Pisgah. Super Bike/hike friendly and very convenient to Brevard and most importantly PNF. Vicki and Bryan always very welcoming, responsive and friendly. Can’t recommend enough. They’re out go to!

Tent site #2

I loved every second of our stay here at site #2, the scenery, the creek that’s right outside of our tent to the bonfire pit created a serene atmosphere. Would surely be back soon!

We loved our stay at Peace of Pisgah!! It was such a sweet spot to visit as a family with two younger kids. Carved out is the forest, you can tell it was built over time with lots of love. It was such a special place! Vickie was wonderful, letting the kids ask tons of questions about the ducks, chickens, and the turkey, Sweet Pea, and everything else they were curious about on the property. She is such a genuinely kind person — we felt lucky to have met her! The kids loved running on the nature trails around the property, too. We loved campsite #4 — it was close to everything (gazebo, shower, restroom), we got a little charge on our electric vehicle, and there was a water pump on site. I was concerned when we pulled up because it is close to the entrance, but it wasn’t a problem at all. The campground is small enough that there aren’t people coming and going all the time. Yes, it is near the highway. But we were out and about all day, and the traffic really does show down at night. I wouldn’t say it changed our sleep schedule in the slightest, even for the 4 yo and 6 yo, who are always looking for ways to delay bedtime. The upside of being close to the highway is being able to come and go easily + your phone gets a good signal — it’s nice, when you have little ones, to have the security of access. Overall, would stay again and definitely recommend! Thank you Vickie!

The most beautiful campsite I’ve ever visited. The site is in its own private space under tons of mountain laurel and rhododendron with a very scenic creek running alongside it. Highly recommend!

My family and I loved camping here! Vicki was very personable and shared some great local spots to check out while we were there. My kids loved the farm animals and especially sweet pea the Turkey! The tent was very spacious for my family of 5 and had everything needed for a weekend get away! The shower spot was amazing with very hot water! You can tell they put a lot of time and effort making sure they have spot to make people comfortable and feel at home. 100% recommend to anyone who is looking for a little getaway! Thanks for everything!

Charming camp area!

Beautiful land and wonderfully kind host! We camped with our own tent in site #4, which was perfect for us. We loved the charm and glow of the land with the gardens, ducks and chickens, and a cute clean outhouse and outdoor shower. We also noticed there were two charming glamping sites with tents already set up by the creek for anyone who prefers it. Highly recommend this Peace of Pisgah!

This is a perfect little camper’s paradise. The property has a cool little creek that runs along the border. The host and hostess answered all questions and assisted us in a timely manner. My son loved the ducks, chickens and turkey they had. We look forward to our next visit.

This place was great. Site 1 is very spacious and the other tent sites looked very cool. The vibe is almost bohemian and Vicki was very attentive and accommodating. Only draw back was the road noise but it quiets down substantially at night.

Incredible visit

Tent ·

Vicki and Vicki’s land were wonderful. My buddy and I came from up north for some mtb and exploration around here. First time for me and I was blown away by all of it. Best of all was Vicki’s property when the day was done. Quiet, incredible spot. Well kept, just great vibes overall. The on-site amenities were spot on, and the shower came in clutch after a long ride at Berm Park.

Glamping just outside Pisgah

I enjoyed glamping at site #2 on Vicki’s property. There was a sturdy tent w/cot, air mattress, sleeping bags, chair, picnic table, a fire pit w/a couple chairs, potty bucket with sanitizing spray, soil to cover & hand sanitizer and all of this was backed up to a lovely creek. Location only a few minutes from Pisgah. Felt very safe as a woman camping alone and private. Vicki was warm & welcoming! Down falls were few but could be dealbreakers for some including traffic noise at all hours (earplugs were included although), tear in screen of tent (not an issue for me since few bugs & cool in evening), no trash service and no running water for drinking, cooking or washing hands but there was a hot shower (but I did not use). I was also very cold my first night using summer bags provided, so suggest bringing cooler weather bags for camping outside of the summer months. Finally there was a burn ban which prevented me from going on the trail I planned to hike and having a campfire, both disappointing but not in Vicki’s control.

This is the most beautiful place- giving heartfelt meaning to its name. The hosts are authentic, kind, and good. The setting is a charming forest, nestled along a peaceful stream, artfully arranged with all the accommodations one needs to enjoy nature’s best- including a private trail, common area for gathering, fire pits, picnic tables, chickens, and ducks (and their delicious fresh eggs!). Whether you want to wander and enjoy western North Carolina (easy access to cool places!), or be still and soak in the song of the woods—this is a perfect setting.

Peaceful Creek Sleep

With pets ·

My pup and I stayed in the uber-comfy site 3 tent by the creek. There's a little bench where I sat and crocheted until dusk and we slept so soundly in the bed. Woke up early and hiked Vicki's suggested Moore's Cove and it was perfect. Vicki and Brian were super friendly and greeted us with literal open arms. Will stay again!
