Most delightful Cabin!
The cutest little cabin! With sheep, pigs, chickens, dogs and cats right outside the door! The wood stove was fun to use, and as long as the fire was going it kept us warm! We even scrambled some of the eggs that Natalie gave us from her lovely chickens. It was clean, and aside from some stink bugs and a few lady bugs the outside stayed outside. :) We loved our time there and cannot wait to come back again!! Thank you Natalie for sharing your lovely farm with us!!

Family loved the little cabin
My daughter , wife and I had a wonderful time in the little cabin. It was cold and rainy outside so one of the highlights for us was cooking on the old fashioned wood stove. It warmed the whole cabin up and kept us cozy all night. The farm is lovely, our hosts were very warm and welcoming. The bed was comfortable and despite being "rustic" the place was clean and very well kept. We would recommend and will definitely be back for a visit.

Great Cabin & Host!!!
Natalie was a super host! Her cabin was extremely clean and cozy. The property is so secluded, you will feel like you have the entire forest all to yourself (because you practically do). It was exciting to be welcome by a small kitten and the animals on the farms (who are just the right distance away). Natalie was extremely welcoming and provided so many great recommendations for us to visit locally! We had forgotten a few items and she was happy to provide them for us. The cabin also has a soundless heating system which kept us warm throughout the night. Definitely recommend for a relaxing and scenic getaway!!!😊

Family of 4 with kids ages 7 and 10 had a wonderful time staying at the Little Cabin, which was stocked with everything we would need. Enjoyed the hammocks, swing, fire pit, and all the animals on the property. The shower has hot water! Lovely views. We can't wait to come back again. Close to town but felt like you are out in secluded farmland.

Amazing experience!
This place is delightful! The cabin is adorable, comfortable, and well-stocked. The view and land is gorgeous. It was the perfect combination of rustic and creature comforts. The wood cook stove was a fun adventure! The outdoor shower was hot on a cool morning. The hosts are very kind and welcoming. We cannot say enough good things about it! We will definitely be back!

Awesome Experience!
We loved staying at Little Cabin on Abbotts Creek. It was quite and perfect for a couples night out. The cabin was clean and all the required amenities were provided. Natalie made sure we were comfortable in the cabin. She also provided us additional lamps and heater for backup during the night. It was a pleasure to share a beer with Natalie during campfire. Also, it was great to meet Darrell the next day. Natalie and Darrell were very welcoming and great hosts. I would recommend this property any day and would love to come back in the future.

Birthday camping weekend!
We adored our time at Abbott creek farm! The cabin was clean, and absolutely adorable and the farm animals were so much fun to interact with. My daughters (12 & 13) had a blast with the pigs, dogs, and running around the farm. The night sky was so clear and we saw multiple shooting stars! The outdoor shower was a dream, and the front porch was the perfect landing spot to admire the farm land. Natalie and Darrell were such wonderful people, it’s a Leap of faith to go on someone else’s land, and they were the most pleasant surprise! We invited them to our camp fire one night and it was lovely to chat like old friends. They have some big plans for the property and we can’t wait to go back and stay in one of the future camping spots! (Think dreamy tents, and unique tent sites!)

This place is awesome!
I highly recommend this cute little cabin! My friends and I stayed for one night on my birthday weekend, and it was such a wonderful, relaxing experience. We had a blast meeting all of the animals and exploring the property. The cabin was well-equipped with safety features, lights, fire wood, and even cooking supplies like a dutch oven. You should totally check this place out! Thanks for being such a great host, Natalie!

Away from it all!
The cabin is so full of character, welcoming and charming! Very clean with all the basics. The farm itself is as relaxing as it gets. Sheep bleating as you sit by a fire pit watching the sun go over the hill!

A beautiful midway point between the NC coast and Asheville area. The cabin is primitive but lovely with a stunning view of the rolling hills. Natalie & her husband took good care of me. The outdoor shower is fantastic. The entire property is a fine example of homesteading at its best!

Little Cabin on Abbotts Creek
Great place!
My friends and I really enjoyed this spot! We were originally going to hit a small stent of the AT for the weekend, but decided to rain check because of bad summer storms. We found this place last minute and could not have been happier with our choice. The cabin was fully stocked with fresh linen, cookware, and games/entertainment. It is a is very cozy and quiet place to decompress and spend time away from the city. We slept in our hammocks outside of the cabin because there were 4 of us but there was plenty of room to hang out inside the cabin during the day comfortably. The view from the front porch is nothing short of spectacular. Less than half a mile down the road there is a place to kayak and fish! The shower was amazing! The hosts are some of the nicest most accommodating people. Very friendly and hospitable. 10/10 recommend this place. We will definitely be back!

Great spot!
Quaint, rustic cabin with an awesome view. We had such a great time enjoying the property and driving over to Abbott’s Creek. The ambiance in the evening with all of the solar lights was magical, and the outhouse was adorable and so clean! Our host was super gracious and we enjoyed meeting him!

Best camping experience I’ve had!!!
The host were great and very welcoming! Everything was clean and well organized as well. This is a lovely place to relax; and enjoy family time, the creek, and lovely company! Our dogs loved wondering around the land; running and playing. It is in a convenient location, as gas stations, restaurants, and stores are within a 5min. driving distance. Dog friendly restaurants are also near by!

First cabin outing (with my kitter)
Incredible spot, lovely little cabin. Nice and clean, had all the sheets/pans/hammocks/firewood a gal could dream of, and Natalie even picked me a couple cucumbers and left them on the table. Bed was comfortable and the cabin has all you need in it, including a cooler outside and garbages/broom/coffee supplies. There was even a little fan since it was hot before a storm came in and lulled me to bed.
Out door shower was so refreshing and had everything from towels to hooks, to shampoo/conditioner/body scrub to choose from. Outhouse was incredible well kept and comfortable.
The scenery is beautiful; the whole property is breathtaking. I had a warm welcome and space to explore on my own at the same time. Picked some berries in the morning and saw the local kittehs. Exactly the experience I was hoping for - would FERSHER recommend.
Note: would recommend bringing lit objects! Well-lit during the day and solar lights lit outside, but I also had a headlamp/couple flashlights that were useful in the house once it got dark since it was too warm for a fire. Also used a candle they left :).

10/10 recommend! I enjoyed my stay! The cabin is cozy, great front porch sitting, the hammocks are so comfortable… be sure to try them out! This was a fun adventure with my pup. Natalie and her husband are such a delight, great company and so accommodating! Be sure to invite them down one night to the fire ring! They are amazing company! The outdoor shower in the garden is such a treat, day or night! The outhouse is clean and well maintained! If you need a get away, this is your oasis… the most beautiful sunsets! Their land and property is so beautiful! Thanks again, can’t wait to come back!

Relaxing weekend at the cabin.
The cabin is a very cute and nice. The two hammocks inside and the big hammock outside were great. The firewood on site was nice to make a campfire. All the animals around the farm were fun to see. The outdoor shower was hot and nice under the stars. The outhouse was nice. Enjoyed having a hose next to the cabin and electric outlet in the cabin. There were a number of fun games to play in the cabin. Lexington is not far and is worth a visit to check out main street. We didn't get out on the water, but there is a public access not far for kayaks. The hosts were super responsive and helpful to any questions we had. Wonderful weekend.

Serene getaway
We really enjoyed the little cabin, Natalie was a fabulous host! Very friendly, and her hospitality was great! Thank you so much for our Italian ice for our kiddo! She loved it!!!!!!! I really loved that we had all the amenities on the site, and so much land! Our puppers were so so so happy roaming, and our toddler! It was peaceful and beautiful! A good getaway! The cabin is very cute and small, and had lots of games, books to read! It was nice seeing all the animals on site as well! We loved seeing the other puppers, cats, sheeps, goats, chickens!
