Primitive Site 2
A couple of friends and I camped at this cute little spot for a weekend. We all throughly enjoyed our stay! It had everything I needed for a very cozy weekend of car camping. There was a compost type toilet inside a tent, that also had a shower bag! I didn’t need to use the shower, but I definitely appreciated the toilet! There was also a hose for water, which was super handy to wash our dishes. The first camp spot had enough room for two cars, and the upper site was for one car. Both sites are fairly close to each other, but I still felt that it was private enough. Sandra stopped by when we first got in and let us know that if there was anything we needed to let her know, she was super nice. The driveway to get to the sites was tight, but we made it just fine, my friend has a huge van and she fit back there. Overall, I would give this site a 10/10 for privacy, comfort, and extras (toilet and water). I would stay here again.

Wish we could have stayed longer!
This was my first time using Hipcamp. My friends and I stayed on sites 1 & 2. We were very pleased with the sites and the surroundings. Nestled in the woods, it felt private and secluded. We're experienced campers and bring most of what we need with us, but was nice to have a toilet nearby and the pavilion was very nice as well. Big bonus for us was that firewood was provided! Sandra and her husband were great, very warm and welcoming! The foliage was beautiful there this time of year. We only wish we could have stayed longer! Would definitely go back in the spring, and bring our kayaks to get on the lake nearby. Thanks Sandra and Randy, for accommodating us car/van campers!

Hosts were incredibly sweet and helpful when we arrived. Lovely little hideaway with another tent site nearby but not too close. Pavilion access was nice for food prep.

Secluded and spacious
Very secluded, lots of privacy! Plenty of space for kids to run around and explore. My son loved going on the trails and relaxing in the hammock. Perfect little getaway. Love that the tent is already set up and that firewood is provided. Will stay here again!
