Enjoy this 4-acre farm site all to yourself! The silo, windmill, and classic farmhouse (currently being renovated; no one lives on the property) create the feeling of living on the rural Minnesota prairie. It's also just a short drive from the Laura Ingalls Wilder historic area. Pets are welcome and can enjoy the mowed areas of the property off-leash!Entire farm site on the Southwest Minnesota prairie near the Laura Ingalls Wilder home. You'll have the entire place to yourself and can choose to park wherever suits you best! Personally I like the area furthest to the West away from the road but you may want to choose a more central area if you plan to utilize the 120v 15a receptacle in the garage. You can let your pets range free in the mowed areas without a leash! Please clean up after them and be mindful of not letting them go into the non-mowed areas, neighboring fields, buildings, or on the road. There is an old farmhouse on site that we are in the process of slowly renovating, but no one lives on site. We may be over intermittently to check on the property and continue the renovation, but we will do our best to only come by as much as necessary while the property is booked. Do not climb the windmill or silo or go into any of the buildings except for the small garage for the 120v outlet. There is a 120v 15a receptacle available in the small garage. You will need to provide your own extension cords. Currently the well is not in service. There is a yard light that comes on automatically every night. The first bundle of fire wood is free! More is available for a fee on site. Please use the designated camp fire pit and exercise proper fire safety. Avoid burning if it is excessively dry. This is especially important when it is windy and before/during harvest when the fields are dry and fire risk is elevated. Note that there is currently a Trump sign on the silo which mostly faces away from the property towards the road. All are welcome regardless of political leanings, we just want you to be aware that the sign is there. Feel free to book elsewhere if preferred. Let us know if you have any questions! Blessings, Ben and Naomi
