Welcome to Joshua Tree Lake RV & Campground, your go-to destination for a unique and memorable camping experience in Joshua Tree. This family-owned and operated park offers breathtaking views from its 2,300 ft elevation, showcasing the beauty of the Mojave Desert and the surrounding mountains. Whether you're an outdoor enthusiast looking to explore the area or simply seeking a peaceful retreat, Joshua Tree Lake RV and Campground has something for everyone. With panoramic views of the North face of Joshua Tree National Park, the ancient Copper Mountain Hills to the North and East, and exceptional desert vistas, you'll be surrounded by breathtaking landscapes wherever you look. Office Hours: 8:30 - 8 Sunday - Thursday 8:30 - 9 Friday and Saturday Check-in Begins at 12 PM. Checkout is at 11 AM. The campground is situated on the southern edge of the Mojave Desert and boasts some of the best stargazing opportunities in the region. With clear, unpolluted skies, you can enjoy the magnificent night skies and immerse yourself in the beauty of the stars. We want to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible, so please take note of the following guidelines: Swimming is not permitted in the lake and there is no swimming pool available. Fishing is currently closed. Pet owners will be pleased to know that their furry friends are welcome, but there will be an additional fee added to the reservation. Wi-Fi is provided by a third-party company and a separate service fee applies. Please note that we cannot guarantee the speed, rate, or troubleshooting of the Wi-Fi service. For your convenience, a wash station for dishes is available on-site, and the Joshua Tree Laundromat is located 9 miles away in downtown Joshua Tree. For campfires, it is important to keep them contained inside the designated burn barrels and never leave them unattended. In the event of high winds, campfire, and BBQ use may be suspended for safety reasons. So, pack your gear and head to Joshua Tree Lake RV & Campground, your favorite place to stay while you play in Joshua Tree. It wasn't a struggle to find the campsite. As I drove along the stretch of road, I saw a big sign, so I could easily find it. There is a place that helps me check-in a short distance from the entrance, and they sold snacks, camping supplies, and firewood. It was such a relief that we needed firewood! When we went to our camping site, there were only 3 or 5 teams of campers, including us, and there were a lot of RV campers. During our stay, the whole campsite was quiet and it was so peaceful. And I was worried because the car battery was dead, but Mia staff willingly helped me, so I arrived home safely!!

Came in late and the staff were super helpful. Campsite was clean and the tent sites looked almost raked out they were so flat. Sound travels despite the campsites being pretty spread out but everyone was respectful of quiet hours. Ground is hard so be prepared to tie down with rocks. Definitely plan on coming back, beautiful and affordable.

Great location for visiting Joshua Tree National Park. Park was clean and well organized. Check in personnel were friendly and provided information about the area and park. Park is in the desert, so no grass, but sites were seperated by bushes. We would go back, if ever in the area again.

This is an amazing campground outside of Jtree. We made last minute plans to camp & of course the national park was full. The campsites are clean, the little store/ check in area was stocked with all sorts of handy things and snacks - I forgot baby wipes, firewood and marshmallows and they had them. The ladies at check in were very friendly and helpful. The bathrooms were very clean/pleasant and stocked. The showers were VERY nice! They exceeded my expectations. The lake/pond is serene filled with lots of cute ducks! There’s an off leash dog area. They close the gate after 9pm (but you can still get in and out as a guest). Overall I will definitely return here, as I often don’t plan my camping trips far enough in advance to book in the park haha. Thanks for an awesome stay!

Great little camp, and the lake was cute. Restrooms were dated but very clean. We went out to see the Orionids and the stargazing was epic - my kiddo's first time seeing the Milky Way! They had a special event the one night we stayed and it was VERY loud until about 11 pm, so I think next time we will call ahead and try to avoid any events like that. But there will definitely be a next time. Lots of families and older folks camping, friendly staff, and overall a good vibe. We found it LGBTQ+ friendly, too - hurrah!

Joshua Tree Lake has large site that can fit your party with plenty of room to spare. The restrooms are very clean and well-maintained with flushing toilets and hot showers. It was the perfect spot to unwind after a day in the National Park. The hosts were very friendly and nice. I would 100% go back again.

Peaceful, beautiful clean and safe, the employees care about everything, I’ve tent camped throughout the world but this is my first time with a RV everyone was so helpful knowledgeable and kind this place is its own destination it’s just a bonus that it’s set in beautiful Joshua Tree too much to list to do here for everyone’s taste. Oh almost forgot the prices are incredibly low for the services provided even the little camp shop is very cheap. Don’t miss this place!
