Rebecca Creek Campgrounds started out as a smaller Campground and Marina back in 1963! Over the years has grown and changed hands a few times to become an RV Park, Primitive Campgrounds, Cabins, Glamping. The newest ownership in 2021 is revamping this charming Hill Country Spot into a destination Campground for all Campers, Weekenders and RVs to enjoy for years to come!! With this drought, our part of the River has dried up and we can just pray for the rain Gods to bring it back soon!! Till then, Camping and hanging out with family is the best with the HIll country view out here under the big Texas starry sky!!

G3 Shady Oaks Glamping Tent
This site was a true “glamping” experience. With A/C, a small refrigerator, and enough head space for 2 tall people to walk around comfortably, this was definitely a nice setup.

Great relaxing place. Creek is dry right now but facilities, showers, bathrooms and common areas are very clean and organized.

P2 Tent Camping w/ Table and Rock Ring
Stayed here during a road trip in Texas. My original plan for the night fell through (not Hipcamp) and I needed to find a camping spot within 24 hours notice. This place was available and cheap. I had a safe space to sleep for the night and a clean/functioning bathroom, so my needs were met. Host was friendly. This place is not like a state park or typical campground, more like a city park/trailer park/construction site, I think it might have been a marina at some point? It’s not like nearby Guadalupe River SP, where you can hike, swim, enjoy nature, etc. It wasn’t crowded, so I didn’t feel cramped as other hipcampers have mentioned but know there is zero privacy at the site. I was basically in a grassy area similar to a parking space. I only ended up staying one night. It did serve my needs, but it wouldn’t be a destination for me and I’d recommend other places if you want to be in nature. If you just need a place to crash for the night, it works.
