Grey Oaks is located on 20 acres of land, with multiple interesting and cool landscape features, hot water shower, and animals up by the house (1/4 mile from the campsites) that you can interact with during your stay here. ( 2 pasture horses, 1 Donkey, 2 friendly dogs, and 1 awesome cat). At the campsites, we have picnic tables, fire pits, bbqs, ice chests on request, and more. A clean and fresh well water hand/dishwashing station and two outhouses are conveniently located to the campsites. We are a pack it in/pack it out campground so please, be mindful of waste as we ask that you take it out with you.
Eucalyptus, oak, and/or pine firewood is provided free for you during your stay with us. It really is a beautiful and wonderful property. There is wildlife, and it is private and peaceful. It is very dark at night and the view of the stars, moon, and planets is amazing. There is poison oak on the property so please be aware. We will show you what it looks like, so you can easily avoid it.

They are about 300 feet apart and not easily visible from each other. Property is fully fenced; both sites are next to an open field under the oaks with vineyard, olive orchard and mountain views. This property is 30 miles from Paso Robles and almost perfectly centered between Missions San Antonio and San Miguel. Lakes San Antonio and Nacimiento are close by. Coastal towns of Cayucos and Morro Bay are about an hour scenic drive, passing many wineries along the way. There is space for multiple RVs or additional tents sharing your party's RV restroom facilities. Site one will accommodate sixteen people and multiple vehicles. We made your Camping and Glamping experience easy. We provide clean showers, restrooms, toilet paper, paper towels, barbecue, camping stoves, utensils, plates, bowls, mugs, coffee maker, pots and pans, cutleries, etc. Yes, there is hot water as well with no coins needed.
The campground is located in a serene oak grove area of the property. Its a peaceful getaway with an abundance of bird varieties and occasional wild turkeys passing through. Take a stroll around our 5-acre property and catch a breathtaking sunset from the hillside.

Our campsites include water and electric hookups. We welcome tents, RV’s, trailers etc. We have plenty of room for a second vehicle. We do offer a port-a potty and sinks, but we do not shower facilities. Cell service is very good.
Our property is a great base camp for your Santa Cruz and Monterey County adventures! We are 15 minutes from Capitola Village, 30 minutes to downtown Santa Cruz. Monterey, Carmel and Big Sur are about 45 minutes anway and make for great day trips.
SFO is 90 minutes away depending on traffic. We regularly host international travelers and we are happy to help you get acquainted with your rig as you set out on your journey.
We love to host guests and will happily provide you with information about things to do and see in on the central coast. We may loan our State Parks pass so that you can venture out to Point Lobos, Wilder Ranch, Sunset State Beach, Natural Bridges and more.

Saddle Mountain is an oasis tucked into the hills of Carmel Valley. We arrived just in time to set up our VW pop-top and go on the wonderful 5-mile roundtrip hike that is on the property. Fantastic views. It poured the night we were there, so didn't get to enjoy some of the wonderful facilities (pool, fire pits, etc.), but will definitely go back.

Great hosts. They met us for a quick orientation and even had a box of supplies for us. Not sure if everyone gets that or it was for us since we were the only ones there, but it was very nice and thoughtful. Site 1 and two are next to each other but spaced to keep as separate as possible. The surroundings make the three sites feel like you are in the woods - even though when we thought about it, we are in the "front yard.". It's 100 yards from the road or anything else. The shower is up a hill and a nice addition. Nothing fancy, but clearly thought out and it works (warm water too). The ground on site 1 is close to flat, but not entirely. The benches, camp fire space, and grill are a nice addition and at every site. We went on a rainy weekend and I would return and recommend. It was one of the nicer basic places I have stayed. Extraordinarily clean and well kept “glampground” tucked away in an oak forest on a hill. We stayed at site 39 for 3 days and had a wonderful time. The bathrooms were nicely appointed and clean, multiple dish washing stations, lovely showers. My only critiques are the noisy gas leaf blowers and depending on the campsite there isn't a lot of privacy. However these were small issues and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again!

What a magical place this is! We were so happy to be able to spend the night in a place that has been loved and cared for as much as this. Yeyen made us feel right at home from the minute we parked our campervan. The kitchen is very well appointed and the property is immaculate. If we are ever in the area again, we’d definitely stay here again.

Very clean and I felt perfectly safe. The turn off from the main road LOOKS like just a gravel shoulder as you can't see the gravel road past the shubbery until you pull off. TRUST! After that, very easy to find. Laura extremely responsive and supportive. I would 100% stay again. The location was just far enough out of town and perfect for me.

This was a good place to stop for the night. It was quiet and peaceful. I really enjoyed seeing all the stars since it was pitch dark. The fireplaces were a really nice touch and the picnic table was a helpful thing to have.

What a great spot and great people! This was the perfect base camp for my family’s beach get away. The walk was short and pleasant with a GREAT beach area! And the aquarium, board walks, and redwood state parks were all just a short drive away. Thanks for hosting us Robin and Ray!

This is a beautiful site, overlooking the strawberry fields. The ocean was a short walk from camp, and our hosts were so welcoming and gracious. We were provided a half dozen eggs on arrival and a beautiful Monarch butterfly magnet was given to my precious 6 year old. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home.

There are very few, if any, places to stay on the west entrance of The Pinnacles and driving to the east gate where the campground is located takes about an hour. A stay in this vineyard is a perfect t solution and would be a top pick even if there were several options. We left the trails and were at our site within 10 minutes just in time to watch the sun set over the mountains. Choose sites 1&2 for sunrise over the vineyards or 3&4 for sunset over the hills. Enjoy!
