Perfect spot for our trip to Australia zoo. Close to zoo and town. Wayne and Kaye are very nice and welcoming. The sounds of the Birdlife in the morning was awesome while having our coffees.

We had a good experience, a bit boggy but we did have a bit of rain. Apart from nowhere to drain our water away, it was a good experience. The host kept to himself, private spot.

Good location, easy access but…

Unfortunately this stay didn’t meet our expectations. I called on arrival for gate code was told their partner will be out to greet us, waited 35 minutes before going looking for them (I don’t think they communicated between themselves). Although advertised as 23 acres, campsites are placed very close together with zero privacy.
There is a free-roaming dog that barked at campers and there was dog waste around our allocated site. While listed as pet-friendly, neighbouring dogs barked constantly. The sandy, patchy ground became very messy when wet, especially with kids.
We paid for a powered/water site but the connection was quite far away and required a long hose provided by the hosts. After leaving early, we received a messages criticising us for not returning the hose, despite it being handed directly to us with no instructions. After back and forth and apologising I was then told they had an issue with someone else and nothing to do with me.
I appreciate the owners are doing their best and location is convenient to Aus Zoo. The gates with a code is good peace of mind for security.

Wayne n Kaye are an outstanding couple who I believe would be the best hosts I've been privileged to stay at their 'camp' in my long life.ive never felt so relaxed at a property as these peoples camp.

We loved the area, sit was very well maintained and easy to access. Great for the dogs as they could be off leash and plenty of room to chase their ball.
We were unlucky with the weather but didn’t impact our overall stay. Wayne and Kaye are lovely and we would stay here again when passing through.
Great proximity to local villages and the Glasshouse Mountain National Park.

Great place to rest up and see the area. Close to every thing in STH Sunny Coast area. Australia Zoo, Big Cart Track. Maleny and hinterland towns. Beaches at Kings Bch, Moffat Beach.

We loved the caravan camping site. Easy parking with electrical and water hookup. Wayne and Kaye both friendly and helpful. Site is well maintained, quiet, and secluded. We love the area and the access to local places of interest very easy. We had a meal at the local pub which was great. Have enjoyed it so much we extended our stay for another week.

Real easy to find and enter with a large double gate. Wayne came out and greeted me on arrival to show me my spot. Power and water was available. Great spot

Kaye was very responsive on messages. Easy and simple checking in. Super close to Australia Zoo and Landborough town. We had Thai for dinner and it was delicious. Great little spot ☺️

Good no fuss camping on wayne & Kaye’s property. Easy access through coded gate and left alone to get on with it. Very close to Landsborough and easy drive to Maleny and Caloundra.

The location was great for us, plenty of room, easy level parking and power and water at a great price (which is almost unheard of in the Eastern states!). Wayne and Kay were great, we will definitely be regulars at this spot.

Great communication prior and during stay.
Unfortunately due to a lot of wet weather the powered/water sites were muddy and boggy so we had to stay further away and piggy back multiple leads to fill water tanks or get electric at one stage.
Only one side of gate was opening when we arrived and owner failed to spot our caravan well which led to caravan hitting the gate, and the automatic other gate closing in on our tow mirror. Owner laughed it off, which my partner was not happy about.
Overall a very affordable option and felt secure and quiet, just may need some adjustments to the lawn for wet weather. Good location for Australia Zoo.

Loved our stay at Robbo’s Retreat Landsborough, QLD for 2 nights. Wayne and Kaye were great hosts. A very quiet unpowered site. Not far to travel to Corbould Park to have our caravan serviced. Our dog loved another campsite to explore. Thank you.

Good location not far from Australia Zoo. Grassy area to park van, liked the powered site and dump point. Secure gate at entrance. Bike path to ride into Landsborough. After 2 days of rain, grassy area was very wet and slushy. Would be really nice in dry weather.
