So please respect it and enjoy it as we do. We have 5 designated campsites positioned around the property. Within the designated sites, there are camp spots that we rotate. Please check with us to see what ones are open. We need to rotate the sites and rest them. This is how we keep them well-maintained and looking amazing. Option 2: From the Centenary Freeway roundabout, at ripley head 21 km along Ripley Road, which continues and changes name to Undullah Road. Coorabell creek farmstay is 30acres of hilly country made up of a mixture of forests, gullys, creeks and horse paddocks. the main camping site is the creek flat in a large shady area with a swimming hole in the freshwater springfed creek with campfire and log seats. there is an alternative camping site for wet weather in the front stone circle paddock 50mtrs from the creek bank. this area is a grassed paddock with morning shade but full sun throughout the day. there is no mobile reception on the property but a short walk up the driveway a few hundred meters away you can get reception at the property entrance should you need to make calls or get/snd msgs.. Property is located 8mins from the Pacific highway, 10mins from Mullumbimby or 18mins from Byron bay township pubs, restaurants and surfing beaches. Approximately 20mins drive to Brunswick heads surfing beaches or Byron surfing beaches. National parks for hiking or horse riding within 20mins drive. Can accommodate 2 horses in paddocks ($10per horse per night.) and parking space for horse float should you wish to bring your horses and enjoy some trails or beach riding in the area, I can give more information on places to ride on request. other activities that can be booked at additional cost include Didgeridoo Making workshops for adults and didgeridoo painting workshops for kids. this is a full day activity for adults and a half day activity for kids doing didgeridoo painting workshops. please enquire for more info and prices. Toilet and Water provided but respect us by taking your own rubbish with you. Beautiful little stream with rapids and rock holes to keep yourself cool in summer. More than welcome to bring hiking shoes, mountain bikes to go explore. As long as you respect the farm rules and if the gate is shut you shut it behind you. No 4wding is permitted on the farm. Animal feeding is an activity we provide with food available to buy for the animals. Firewood is also available to purchase on arrival Dogs allowed on leash, please respect all the other campers on site and generators are welcome to be used but need to be turned off at a respectable time. Greg, the owner of the farm, is such a lovely person, he made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. You just have to check this hipcamp for yourself. The very kind host , Karen is a beautiful free spirit & so so accommodating. My wife & I stayed in the very comfy room at the end of Karen's private residence where we had our own newly renovated bathroom with soft white towels, soaps , shampoo etc...which was fabulous....also freshly cut gardenias on beside was a very nice touch. Access to the camp kitchen with full facilities & a living area/rec room was briiliant & sure makes for a great stay. Karen's surrounding garden was really beautiful...a long chat hanging over the front rail during our garden tour with Karen was delightful. Six campsites are available surrounding the ex- fish farm dams where Karen's horses & alpaca roam freely... Jalum is super relaxing...just up the road from Mooball where you'll find a beaut pub , Moo Moo Roadhouse for fabulous food , drinks & souvenirs Also popular there at Mooball is the rail trail with E bikes for hire. We enjoyed a gorgeous country drive with lush green hills crossing the NSW/QLD border from Murwillumbah through to Nerang...the amazing Beechmont Tavern was packed with punters to be entertained by back to back bands for a fun Saturday arvo/night... Lots to do in the area...even an old old railway tunnel to see on nearby Hulls Road to the Sth & just up the road to the Nth of Jalum on Pottsville Road is The Sleepy Barn where you can chill with a morning coffee or an evening cocktail along with delicious snacks/meals. 💯% score

Because of our schedule, we had no choice but to arrive around 7 pm, so we had to set up in the dark. It was raining and very windy, so it was quite difficult for us, but Greg helped us with absolutely everything — pitching our tent, putting up our gazebo, and even lending us pegs since it was our first camping trip and we hadn’t brought any. We were so, so grateful and relieved. And even though it was raining and we couldn’t use the fire properly, he still helped us light the firewood beforehand when we told him it was our first time and we weren’t really sure how to do it. That was incredibly kind of him. We couldn’t see the view properly when we arrived at night, but when we woke up in the morning, the scenery was absolutely stunning. It made us want to come back again on a sunny day — this place is truly perfect. Even though our first camping experience was quite challenging, Greg turned it into such a wonderful memory. We’re so thankful to him. We’ll definitely be recommending this place to others. Even the drive here was beautiful, so we truly, truly recommend it.

My group stayed for my bday weekend & had the best time! Huge perks of the place: -The hosts, Patrick & Tom, had amazing comms throughout the entire process & shared some important tips like internet access/things to do around the area/prompt that it’s cold at night, even in late spring, etc. They were lovely & prepared an amazing spot for our group. The toilet is an awesome long drop design that doesn’t smell, even after a huge group for a few days. It’s strategically placed near the fire pit, so we didn’t have to walk for ages from where we spent the majority of our time. It also has charging ports so you can keep your phones, etc, charged. We were so impressed with this! The freshwater creek was perfect for swimming. There’s a section deep enough to dive in & swim around & other parts you can sit on the rocks & enjoy shallow water. -The section is flat & very spacious, so there were many options to put the tents without being super close to each other. The trees lined up on the creek side provide shade from around mid-morning too which was handy to not have to squeeze under our gazebos! -The cows and calves that roam through the site are the cutest! Some even let you pat them. -If you forgot anything or need to top up supplies, it’s only a 15-minute or so drive to Canungra. It’s a really great spot for groups of all sizes, but ideal for a big group! Highly, highly recommend!

White Wallaby Farm is certified organic growing Garlic, Ginger, Turmeric plus other seasonal crops. Our camping area is separated from the growing areas by the road, the camping area is approximately 2.5 acres, is mostly bush and borders Hopping Dicks Creek. Actual camping site is about 1/2 acre and is a mix of gravel & grass. Farm walks can be taken by negotiation, fees apply ( Morning/afternoon tea included). Available produce can be purchased. Mobile phone and Wifi service is usually very poor at the campsite. Please do not cross over the creek, this is not our property & the neighbours have very strict biosecurity controls in place. We ask that you respect this situation. Caravans up to 6 mtrs long are acceptable (1 area only ) other areas suit camper trailers, tents etc. Facilities are basic, there is a bush toilet and a camp kitchen with gas stove and sink. No showers. No power. Tank water on site is pumped from the creek and must be boiled/filtered before use. Entry to the grounds is opposite Number 325, and has a sign on the fence indicating Number 326. NOTE, 325 is not our property, do not enter this driveway or use their bins. Our private driveway is 50 mtrs further along the road and has the number 327 on the gate post. There are rubbish and recycle bins for your use in the campgrounds. ( BUT PLEASE TAKE YOUR RUBBISH HOME) This is an area with significant wildlife and for this reason we cannot allow cats or dogs under any circumstances, IF, by chance you hit an animal or see an injured one please report it to us immediately. Please drive carefully. The area is very beautiful with lovely drives, bike rides and walks. Murwillumbah Rail Trail is 30 mins drive away. Local cafes are at Crystal Creek and Tyalgum approx 15 mins away Firewood available $20 for 20-25 kg or BYO Directions, From the south travel to Murwillumbah then either via Chillingham or Tyalgum. From the north take the Nerang to Murwillumbah rd and turn right at Chillingham. This is a very pretty drive and slightly quicker than via the M1. We only accept 1 booking at a time so that you have the area to yourself.

Welcome To The Beautiful Scrub. We are a 200 acre working cattle property with a Simmental cattle Stud and Endurance Arabians. The property is situated at the base of MT Lion and on Lynchs creek which flows from the rainforest. There are great hiking tracks along the creek which lead you to fishing holes and swimming holes. You can also hike our property to see Border view camp spot which has beautiful and amazing views of the Border Rangers, you can see Lynchs ck and Warrazambil ck falls in the distance ,you can also look down the valley towards Kyogle and surrounds.There is also an abundance of wildlife on the hike Koala's are often about if you look up for them usually early morning or late afternoon. You will also come across our beautiful Simmental cattle on the hike they are very quite. There is also Fern gully picnic spot on the hike which is a great spot to relax or do some morning yoga at the small waterfall . Children will also find fairy homes. .Fern Gully is a very tranquil. There is a 1km of creek to explore with great fishing spots you can catch Perch ,Cat fish Mullet ,and Carp. The creek is lots of fun to kayak on. There is plenty of creek to paddle and Awesome rapids to challenge yourself. And one of our favourite things to do is fossicking you can find Quartz, Citrine and Jasper.. The Village of Wiangaree is just 4klm from the camp grounds they have great coffee and hot food and also do Friday night meals. And in walking distance of 200 meters is Ferndale Pantry which sells sourdough, eggs, chutneys, cakes and more. We are also a 10klm drive to to the Border Rangers National Park. The Campgrounds are beautifully and are situated on the creek. There are 5 spacious dispersed sites . There are fire pits available and fire wood is available for $20 a wheelbarrow full, just ask on arrival. Rubbish must be taken with you when you leave. There is no toilet, you must bring your own toilet and take home all waste. Bush toilet is not acceptable. Wiangaree have Public toilets. And no potable water. Enjoy your stay at the beautiful Scrub.
