Our sites are completely isolated from town, with views and not visible from the road. Sites are set among nearly 100 acres of a mix of open land and rainforest. Multiple natural springs exist on the property and a few small spring-fed waterholes are scattered down the cascading hills. Friendly ducks, geese, fish, horses and an abundance of native wildlife live here. This location is home to several endangered species due to being one of the last isolated pockets of rainforest in the area. Sites are part of The Bush Clinic where we specialise in designing and making natural creams, soaps, teas, dodorants and other products as well as running regular Meditation courses and topics such as Energy, Frequency, Grounding and Advanced Organic Growth techniques for those wanting to join in are formally available during your stay. We are new to HipCamp so have limited facilities at present, but they are in progress and we have loads of space per site, comfortable, and lots to offer for those wanting to reconnect with Nature. If you know what ley-lines are - this is the right place to visit ;-) PS if you are towing a van or camper pls remember to engage 4wd at the front gravel gate (low range 2nd is best). This helps avoid chewing the road up...

Complete privacy from the main road in this area, open mowed grass, plenty of parking space or room to turn trailers around (no reversing required). Nice shady tree and open room for kids to run around or just sit by the warm campfire. Plenty of space to go for a walk, and genuine rainforest full of native trees and wildlife nearby especially suited to photography, birdwatching or meditation. Amazing views. Guests must be fully self contained with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste with them on departure. Campfires are welcome in the fire pit provided. Pets are allowed on leash. Note: please ensure any materials or firewood has been cleared of termites or other pests before entering the property. If you are unsure we have firewood available for you on entry. We humbly ask to avoid playing loud music or flying drones. We have many endangered and even critically endangered species here on the property and music/loud noises and especially drones upset them quickly. If you are quiet and paying attention you may well see some of things ur very rare species… this section of rainforest is the last stand for many beautiful animals. They have nowhere else to go… so let’s look after them. Thankyou 🙏

This area has special significance to us and is so close to beautiful flowing springwater you can literally fall asleep to the sound of it day or night. Plenty of singing birds due to the rainforest and spring water. Walking trails nearby around several spring fed lakes in a Japanese-style natural cascade. Vast open flat area for plenty of campers / vehicles but still has great views of the Flying Fox valley. Beautiful, natural rainforest just a few steps away. Note: please ensure any materials or firewood has been cleared of termites or other pests before entering the property. If you are unsure we have firewood available for you on entry. We humbly ask to avoid playing recorded music or flying drones. Kyūdō Camp has special significance to us and the Art is traced back in our family lineage, and still amazed experts to this very day. If you are lucky enough to book this site you can close your eyes, rest up and enjoy some peace and quiet and one day perhaps we will even have a Kyūdō demonstration here for you... there's lots in store for The Bush Clinic. Many children come to this site and are asked to "listen only to the birds", and count the number of different species. If they get that number right the next task is to focus and count the exact number of birds! ie: people come here to relax, and forget their daily worries back home. An ancient Samurai technique to focus on your inner strength and forgo all fear to achieve the impossible.

Another quite little spot amongst the property where you can unwind and enjoy the sounds of the Bush. Night-time gives many native and rare species of frogs and you will always awake to the amazing birds chorus just before dawn. Please always be ware we have a lot of native wildlife here (more than most places) and they are to be respected at all times. The more quiet and chilled you are, the more likely they are to visit you - makes sense, right? Enjoy your stay here.

Kintsugi Camp

There are several areas on the property, relatively isolated from one another, to provide as much peace and quiet for each site as possible. Obviously, this depends on how many people are booked in at any time. Kintsugi is a very elite type of Japanese pottery, which one day soon, we will be teaching on-site. Until that day, this area bears the name in respect to Yoshimi who is a specialist traditional Japanese potter - one of the best in Australia in fact (although she won't admit it, trust me she is!). Enjoy this beautiful location and especially the amazing morning chorus the birds always sing before sunrise.

Lovely spot with a few camp sites to choose from all with stunning views of the surrounding hills. Horses roam freely and were Beautiful company. Dayman was very friendly and knowledgeable and made our stay very comfortable . We will definitely be back.

Complete privacy in a secluded site. Peaceful, close to flora/fauna-lovely interaction with the horses! Nestled in the valley was spectacular. Dayman was very hospitable and helpful. Spent 3 nights ( including a storm night) and will definitely return.

We loved staying here. Dayman and Masato were excellent hosts and welcomed us on arrival. Loved that our dogs were able to roam off leash. The highlight for us were the friendly horses that greeted us each morning for a carrot and a brush. Kids also got to see their first ever fireflies. A great base to explore the area. Would definitely stay here again if we are visiting the area.

Had a wonderful time at the Bush Clinic. Dayman went out of his way to ensure my stay was comfortable. The land itself was picturesque and you can’t beat having beautiful horses roaming around and keeping you company. Very thankful to have discovered this spot.

Brilliant place ! Once you make it up the driveway you're in heaven. Dayman is an awesome host. Theres a crew of horses and dogs to meet you. Make sure you are a good person and your time there will be so very good

Really peaceful campsite surrounded by trees and open grassy areas. Lots of space to spread out, and our dogs had a great time roaming around. We even had a pony wander over to say hi, which was a fun surprise. Nice spot for a quiet getaway—simple setup, great views, and good vibes all around. Would definitely come back.

It was absolutely beautiful camp spot! One of our favourites! Horses walking by and eating grass while we sit behind the warm fire, sunset in the background with hills, felt a little bit like in a fearytale. Owner really friendly and nice! We had a little oopsie finding the location, we clicked on the pinpoint through HipCamp and they there have marked it wrong, follow Daymans instructions and you will get there no drama.

We had a lovely weekend camping at The Bush Clinic. The mountain views were stunning, and the sound of birds singing during the day made the whole experience incredibly relaxing. The highlight was meeting Copyright—the sweetest horse who couldn’t get enough pats! Daymen was welcoming and kind, creating a warm and relaxed environment from the moment we arrived. You can tell a lot of love and care goes into this place.

We recently camped at The Bush Clinic, run by the wonderfully unique Dayman, and it’s safe to say this place is something special. Tucked away in a serene, peaceful patch of nature, the energy here is unlike anywhere else – calm, grounding, and quietly magical. One of the absolute highlights? The horses. Loved loved loved them. They were incredibly friendly and social, wandering over to hang out with us at our camp like old mates. We especially fell for Copy – there’s a 100% chance we’ll be coming back just to spend more time with that gorgeous soul. Dayman himself is a bit of a bush alchemist – a true connoisseur of scents. He generously shared his creations with us, and we were blown away by the care and craft that goes into each one. It’s not every day you meet someone blending the art of aromatics with the ruggedness of the Australian bush. If you’re looking for a place to reset, reconnect, and befriend some beautiful horses along the way, The Bush Clinic is it. Can’t wait to return.

A Perfect Start to 2025!

We spent the first two days of this year here and had the most special time. The owner was incredibly friendly and took the time to talk to us about the land, sharing his obvious passion and knowledge. He even went out of his way to grab firewood from town for us, which was so thoughtful. We especially enjoyed walking around and exploring the land, taking in all the different types of plants and vegetables growing—such a unique and memorable experience. The friendly horses and geese added even more charm to the surroundings. The tent was spacious and comfortable, and the entire property was simply breathtaking. A perfect way to ring in the new year—highly recommend!

Dayman was absolutely amazing, communicated great and the property was amazing!!! so gorgeous and very friendly horses, when he was bringing up our hired toilet tent we happened to inform him we’d forgotten our cooktop so he swung around to his place and brought us some. due to hicamp telling us there was a fire ban we hadn’t brought any firewood but he informed us hicamp hadn’t disclosed they were telling people this and said we shouldn’t go without a fire and not only got us firewood but set us up too. appreciate going to somewhere where you know they appreciate the land and animals on it. if you want to connect with nature and have a true blue experience this is your place.

Peaceful, beautiful campsite

I can’t wait to come back again. The area is so beautiful and peaceful. I have never seen my anxious rescue dog so relaxed in an unfamiliar environment. It was very refreshing. Dayman is also very friendly and welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. Horses were also very friendly and we loved that they came to the site to say hello. We also had a very comfortable sleep and it was nice to only hear the sounds of birds and nature.
