Situated along Flying Fox Creek, enjoy completely private sites with access to your own swimming hole as well as beautiful scenery to take in if you decide to explore the farm. The perfect launch pad just 40 minutes to everything the Gold Coast has to offer and an hour to Brisbane. Canungra is only 15 minutes away with everything you could possibly need Pets encouraged; however, this is an active farm so please keep them under control and nearby at all times

This spacious campsite is located on a working cattle farm, easily accessible from Flying Fox Road with its own gate leading straight from road to campsite. No 4WD necessary to get full use from the site, while being easy to access from the road the site still feels very private and is completely secluded and regularly maintained. Enjoy peace and quiet other than the occasional visit from curious cattle. Perfect for either camping or caravans.

Perfect for smaller off-road vans accessible only by 4WD as you are 250m off the main road across a creek. Beautiful country property. Very well set out for Hipcamp. Camping right near the flowing creek. Cows stroll through to say Hi during the day. We towed a 22” caravan which was very easy to set up and accessible off Flying Fox Road. 10 minutes to Canungra Main Street, which is very helpful if you require RACQ for a flat car battery 🤦🏻 We will definitely be back there again some day. Lovely little spot by the creek. Easy to find. Not far from road but still felt quiet and peaceful. The dog loved roaming around and we enjoyed swimming in the creek even in winter. Nice enclosed fire pit. Bring extra fire wood in winter, we needed to grab more from the lovely little town nearby because the campsite is quite shady so not getting the heat from the sun. Beaut site all to yourself. Would def book again.

Just stayed a night, its close to the city of Gold Coast, private, quiet, tranquil. Furthermore Bryce was highly accommodating, considering the best spot for me, I was testing a new setup and didn't have a lighter, or the right gas fittings, Byrce comes down with a box of matches, prepared to get me a hotplate for the fire. I was looked after and appreciate that. Great spot and hospitality, a quick skip from the GC. Highly recommended.

The Swimming Hole At Ferny Glen
this was our third or maybe even fourth stay at the property, this time to celebrate a birthday and every time is amazing, we even extended our stay by a night as we just simply didn’t want to leave. the cows came to visit this trip from across the creek and as usual there’s always little wallaby’s around sunset on the move. perfect if you’re looking for a private spot but still only 10 minutes from canungra if you’re looking for a morning coffee or toilet run. highly recommend and will be back for sure

Stunning private and grassy site, cows are very friendly but the site is fenced off which is nice so don’t have to worry about dodging land mines in camp! We’ll be back!

Amazing, was very peaceful , great views , the creek , the scenery/hills etc. Also Bryce was very helpful in helping me setup as I was new to camping. Provided a lot of firewood and showed me how to make a fire. Was nice to see the cattle up close as well. I’m thinking about definitely coming back

A little bit of paradise, feels like you’re the only one around for miles. Great little creek, a tad cold this trip for a swim but the dogs had a great time splashing around. We enjoyed the campfire and the complementary crate of wood, thank you to the owners. Land was well cared for and mowed on arrival. We have camped at both David’s Dell and the Swimming hole and both are fabulous spots and definitely recommend. We will be back.

Twin Pines. Tranquility on the Coomera river. My 7th trip to this amazing property and planning my next. Bryce is very warm and welcoming delivering firewood and always willing to help an old lady set up.. 👵😂 Site is beside cow paddocks, manicured, grassy flat, shady on the river, great for canoeing, paddle board swimming or just sitting in the shallows soaking up the atmosphere and serenity. Sitting around the fire at night was magical staring at the spectacular show of stars. Little pup Sadie and I will be back soon. Hard to choose which site, they are all beautiful.🤩 👵🌻

This is a great spot with relative easy access to the site. You do have to cross a small creek, but it's not a problem. The good part is there's no dirt road and the area is grassed. There is a pool in the creek there for swimming. I linked this place. Very pleasent.

We took our low clearance caravan to ‘the swimming hole’. A beautiful mowed site all to ourselves. Pet friendly, big fire pit, lots of shade with easy access to the creek. It was everything we needed for an easy weekend away.

Great land, not too far from the city. Affordable and most of all quiet and peaceful. The cattle grazing around were very friendly and it was good to let the dog stretch his legs. Highly recommend staying on Bryce’s land.

Bryce came to see us not long after we arrived. We were first time campers and he was very helpful and told us where he was if he needed anything. We had an amazing stay! We all loved swimming in the creek and enjoyed having the cows walk over to visit us every now and then. We'll definitely rebook again in the future.

Great little spot by the stream and watering hole. Road isn't numbered from what we could see (at night) sign on the double gate says "Swimming hole". Cows came down for a graze in the morning:)

Enjoyed the long weekend at Bryce’s HipCamp. By far the most private camp we have ever been to. So peaceful, such a large flat grassy site, a beautiful clear creek to cool off in and some inquisitive cows. We will definitely be back. Not many places out there to camp on a long weekend where you can’t see or hear another person.

Very private and quiet camp site by the water. Fire wood provided which was nice. Very nice scenery and some wildlife around. Easy camp site to find with easy access. Nice host who came around to make sure everything was good. Great for dogs as they can be off leash.
