Big rig-friendly
Spacious, level camping well-suited for travel trailers over 40 ft long.
The beginnings of a regenerative farm dedicated to recovering the native lands while growing food for delicious homemade meals. Just a short drive from Nimbin, it's a beautiful base camp to explore this wonderful region, but also offers plenty if you just wish to kick back in nature during your stay. Enjoy our private creek, rolling hills, and native wildlife. Surrounded by ancient rainforests, waterfalls, and swim holes there are not many better ways to recharge the batteries and escape the hustle of life. You are welcome to choose your own spot on our 90 acres, and we can help advise of some good locations. All sites are for self-contained travelers, those that have their own camp toilet and can take all waste with them when they leave. The property is most suited to 4WD, high clearance vehicles, and off-road campers. Caravans and motorhomes will find it difficult to reach most areas to camp. Children under 12 stay free! Please still add children to the booking (you will not be charged) so we can keep on top of guest numbers. You're welcome to bring your furry four-legged friends along to camp too, but please ensure they do not hassle the livestock. Be sure to also check out our wide range of fresh farm produce and firewood bundle you can purchase via Extras at time of booking.

False advertising
We drove 3 hours to arrive and it did not look like the photos. You would 100% need a 4x4. The whole place had grass up to your waist. We tried flattening it with our car and couldn’t. There were also plants that are bad for dogs (need to watch them) we had to drive another 3 hours back home. Very disappointed as we thought it was going to be like the photos.

We had such a lovely time staying here! Such stunning property with rolling hills and lots of farm animals. The drive in alone was beautiful. We camped at the top of the hill and had the most amazing view. Preston and his beautiful family are wonderful. They were even kind enough to let us help feed the sheep in the morning. Definitely recommend driving down to the creek for a swim too! Had the best time, hope to be back soon!

Didn't stay as hard to access
Due to excessive rain we were unable to access the site. This is not surprising given the volume of rain in the days leading up to our arrival; what was disappointing was the lack of communication from the host. Surely they knew the site would be inaccessible before we drove all the way there. We turned up at the site only to eventually be turned away by the host's mother, who promised to refund us yet we are still waiting. There was also no property signage (or at least none we could see) only the street number, so I walked down the long steep driveway in the rain to see where the entry was. Instructions for finding the property would have been handy. The host did not reply to messages at the time and has also ignored my request for a refund since. Luckily the host's mum was there at the time and saw us...she lives on the other side of the road where the campsite is and it was all just a bit confusing.

Scam don’t book!!
We booked via instant book and arrived four hours later. The gates were locked and had a sign saying do not enter without escort. We waited, messaged through the app, texted, called and waited some more. Three days later and I still never heard from the host. We had to stay at a nearby caravan park and have contacted Hipcamp for a refund. I was giving the hosts the benefit of the doubt that they were out and had not seen my last minute booking but now that it’s three days with no contact I can only assume this is a scam.
