HAVE THE PLACE TO YOURSELF. Come and enjoy this exclusive campsite on the doorstep of the beautiful Clarrie Hall Dam, in the heart of the Tweed Shire. Nestled in the foothills of the iconic Mount Warning (Woollumbin), the campsite is also just across the road from Doon Doon Creek which boast constantly running, clear water for swimming etc. The campsite is LARGE and PRIVATE on a section of the 300 acre working farm which has cattle and a friendly dog named Wal. Campers are welcome to explore the many walking tracks on the property as well as the bordering national park. Just 500 metres from Clarrie Hall Dam, spend your days picnicking and paddling amongst the stunning scenery. The dam is stocked with Australian Bass for a fun day's fishing. Take a 5 minute drive to Uki a township where you will find an abundance of arts and crafts, weekend markets and a host of alternative/natural therapy practitioners. You'll reach the larger town of Murwillumbah in just 15 minutes and the famous Byron Bay in under an hour. Uki also boasts one of the best pubs in Australia and Nicko will pick you up and drop you off in the courtesy bus if required. Explore the nearby Northern Rivers Rail Trail - 24km of trail through working farms, lush rainforest, wide bridges and original train tunnels. PLEASE NOTE: there are public toilets at the village of UKI about 2km. Check out the property on YouTube: https://youtu.be/yyBCa5b_juo?si=NnuNfcZsvOTFP8cnThe Campsite is a private (no other campers), flat grass area on our property across the road from Doon Doon creek which has clear, constantly running water perfect for a swim. The location and creek are very picturesque. Campfires are fine and it is a perfect spot to simply relax or explore the area. It is 500m from Clarrie Hall Dam which is popular for non-motorized water sports, fishing and hiking. Please note there are no facilities yet so you will need your own toilet. However, there are public toilets 2.5kms up the road in UKI.
