Valley of the Rogue State Park
Bordered by the fertile Siskiyou and Klamath National Forests and flanked by the ferocious Rogue River, this wild land is a sight to see. Camp along the river made famous by novelist Zane Grey.
Go blackberry picking on the River Edge Trail. Cycle along the Rogue River Greenway. Raft whitewater rapids, or go for a dip. Embarking on a backpacking adventure along the Rogue-Umpqua Divide Trail. Visit the historic town of Jacksonville. There is a lot to do here.
We’d be remiss if we didn’t mention the fishing. The Rogue has over 215 miles of fishable water and the fishing is great year round. The campground is right on the shoreline, so you’ll be able to cast a line right from your camp. There are 95 full-hookup sites, 55 electrical sites with water, and 14 tent sites.
