I loved tent camping on Mae’s land. We swam with our dog Nova and enjoyed the outdoor showers. We will be back!

Gorgeous site with amazing amenities! We loved the teahouse, kitchen, shower, and swim spot. A great experience and would recommend to anyone. Pricey for camping, but totally worth it!

This is the second time I've done open camping at Cedar Bloom, and I'll be coming back again and again. I brought two young kids and my parents, and we all had a glorious time swimming in the river and sleeping under the cedar trees. The staff is all super lovely, friendly, and helpful, and the amenities at Cedar Bloom are incredible. Don't skip the sauna or the shower overlooking the river.

Simply one of the best spots in Oregon. The river is beautiful. The land is well taken care of. The host's are always helpful. Really a great spot. I will continue to make trips out here.

Cedar Bloom Weddings: Open Camping
The big coniferous trees provided nice shade. Even though other campers were within eye sight we felt like we were alone. The camping area for a travel trailer was relatively level.

Very large place with a variety of camping options. The river access is great, and very swimmable. Showers are amazing! Lots of yellowjackets so be careful there.

Truly on of the best campgrounds I have ever stayed at. Here at Cedar Bloom, the feeling is natural, harmonious, peaceful, thoughtful, respectful, handcrafted, creative, unique, welcoming, inclusive, etc. The absolute opposite of something like a KOA! But if sustainability, diversity, inclusivity, leave no trace, pack-in-pack-out are not your thing, perhaps this place might not be your cuppa tea.
My husband, dog and I only stayed one night on our way from Oregon to California, but it was an AMAZING stopover to rest and renew from many hours driving. The swimming hole (and river water in general) was off the charts, and all the structures (showers, bathrooms, office, tea room, community kitchen, etc) were done with care. For sure we will be back!

This place is super magical! It’s a lovely piece of property and is very quiet and peaceful. The swimming is great, and there’s all kinds of fun stuff in the camp store. I would definitely come back to camp or to hold some kind of event.

Magical surprise campsite with THE best river I've ever swam in. Will return just for this!
I want to write a whole story but will keep it skim-worthy for anyone looking for a last minute campsite like we were:
• Easy to find, self-entry with code, look for your own space to camp and set-up
• If arriving in the dark, use headlamp/flashlight. Wayfinding is above and beyond (but can be hard to locate at night)
• Dog-friendly: we got to let ours play off leash in the family beach with another family and their dog. They also played at our campsite later.
• Enjoyed a HOT shower at midnight then hot Numi tea (my fav)
• Baked my pizza in their large, clean, stocked community kitchen. So cool!
• Composting toilets were clean, well lit, and exceptionally maintained. Inspirational system.
• Drinking water tasted great!
• Dishwashing station was awesome to have during our weeklong camp trip
At night the main path is lit with lanterns but since we arrived in the dark, it was hard to find the restrooms. Would be nice to have subtle lighting around the signs.
Appreciated the poison oak signs too!
Next time I will plan ahead and try book a site along the river although the geodome and a-frames are tempting too.

We have a great time at Cedar Bloom. I felt like we were back in time. We loved walking the property and jumping in the swimming hole! The outdoor showers epic! Beautiful tea bar. All around great trip! Well done!

Cedar Bloom Farm is pure magic, serene, welcoming, and beautifully cared for. The luxurious outdoor showers and sauna, plus the dreamy river for dipping, made the whole experience feel so rejuvenating. Mea has truly created a healing sanctuary in nature. We left feeling deeply nourished and can’t wait to return!

Booked an A Frame cabin for myself and my dog and it was absolutely perfect. The swimming holes are divine, loved the tea house, and the entire property is just incredible!

The property and people were very nice. We really enjoyed the swimming hole and wandering around the property. The A-frame cabin was adorable and comfortable. However, consider bringing a mosquito net if you plan to sleep with the side open.

I spent a few nights here and only stumbled upon it because I was looking for somewhere to crash on my road trip to WA. As a solo female traveler, I felt safe. It’s on private property and behind a gate with code. I know cave junction can be weird so I didn’t leave the property.
I was able to relax, regroup and get zen. It felt like a mediation retreat almost. Nice shady flat spots to camp. The river was beautiful. Staff/owners onsite but everyone keeps to themselves! Bring a big tote bag for the river and communal kitchen/showers/bath because it can be a bit of a walk depending on where your tent is.

I had a very pleasant time here. It was quiet when it needed to be and active kids laughing and having a good time brought joy to hear when they were playing. The river was too cold for me but others were enjoying a great time. The campsites had a great deal of shade for those hot afternoons! I really liked camping here! I would come back again the next time I plan to be up north!

What a beautiful little escape! I arrived later than expected, but I was able to locate everything just fine and Mea still contacted me to make sure I was set up okay. The tea house was an unexpected treat for me, and the cats brought me so much joy. I will definitely return!

Our family stayed in the Geo Dome for 3 nights recently. The dome was a good compromise for the half of the family who don’t really like camping :)
Parents sleep on queen bed, one kid on sofa in sleeping bag, and the other on the cot we brought. It’s about 30’ dia so we had plenty of space to spread out from each other. Dome comes with large drinking water dispenser (we were low by 3rd day), and a butane burner with teapot. Even when it was hotter temps, the shaded dome stayed comfortable with the floor fan providing good circulation. Pretty good privacy even when campground filled up for holiday weekend…but unfortunately there’s a compact dirt road that bisects the dome from its picnic table/outdoor seating area. This weirdly means people are walking/driving by your windows only 8-10ft away thru middle of your site. :(
Pro tip:s 1) bring your own multiplug extension cord so you have enough outlets or power where you want it in the done. 2) Don’t let any food drop on the wood floor. The ants will be there within the hour. Once we collected up our dog’s kibble that had fallen on the floor, the ants were all gone a few hrs later. 3) Check for burn ban and then bring your camp stove. You may need to prop one side of your stove with little sticks to get it to sit evenly. Although many of their sites had new picnic tables the big dome doesn’t so wood planks are all uneven. Can’t get a pot to sit safely on a sloping burner so just find something to prop the one side underneath.
