Site 1 is a nice wooded and secluded site overlooking the river with own fire pit with enough room for 3-4 tents. Sites 2 and 3 are sunnier spots overlooking the river. Site 4 is shaded with limited view. Site 5 is the largest, shaded with large grass area to play. Tubing and kayaking on the river are great. Located less then 15 minutes from the town of Bolton Landing and the village of Lake George gives you endless possibilities without the crowds. Amenities include Portajohns, outdoor heated shower and wash basin. There is also another fire pit with Adk chairs for use overlooking the river for sites with no river views to enjoy the sunsets. Note: There is a 2 night minimum on weekends.

James was a great host and welcomed us to his beautiful land. We loved falling asleep/waking up to views of the river. The site (3) had its own picnic table and fire pit, and we had access to an outdoor toilet and shower (though we didn't use). The sites are fairly close together, but we didn't mind having neighbors and didn't see them much. It was too cold for a swim during our stay, but there is a path that takes you down to the water.
Peaceful, spacious and views. Always clean and well kept with excellent hospitality. Hoping to return again next season!
Great place! Our campsite was very secluded and private. Hot shower is definitely a plus! Not so many places on Hipcamp can offer it. A lot of beautiful hikes nearby.
This site was fantastic! Ours overlooked the river and was very scenic. There is firewood available to purchase. The outdoor shower is very neat! There's also a sink, and toilet outside. The host was very hospitable and kind. We found this site on an impromptu need for a camping spot and received a response within the hour. Highly recommend and will definitely be back.
We stayed at site #1 and it was great! It was away from the other sites and have plenty of clear space for tents and things. It was all under the trees so shade was great. It's on a cliffs edge that looked out over the river for a wonderful view. James our host was very kind and offered so many good suggestions on where to go and spend time in the area. I would definitely go there again!
Jim was the perfect host, in a terrific location for Lake George. Very accommodating and sociable. Definitely plan on staying with him again
