We are a gateway to outdoor play in the Adirondacks. Lake George and hiking trails are a stone's throw away. Swim, sail, fish, boat, hike, rock climb, and white-water raft during the summer and down-hill or cross-country ski, skate, snow shoe, and ice fish in the winter. Or sit with a book in secluded natural privacy. Please note: if you want to bring your pet, you must indicate that in the "extras" field. There is a $25 fee per dog, with a limit of 2.Don't spend time setting up a campsite! Your comfy cabin is all set for you with a queen-sized bed and clean sheets. Your cabin is secluded with open space, a trail, and an outdoor area for lounging- yet all within minutes to Lake George Village and Glens Falls.

Off leash. We have a timid cat and do not want her chased. Your cabin site is far enough from the house that your dog can be off leash, but when approaching the house, please leash your dog. There are also deer and other wildlife on the property.
Potable water available
Spigot, hose, pump or well, bottled water or jugs. The stream is seasonal; it may be dry at the end of the summer. November - April there is no running water. We will supply a jug of water.
Showers available
Cold water only. the shower is seasonal. Piping is above ground, so with sun, the water warms.

Cooking equipment absent
There is an outdoor grill and picnic table. Many folks bring their camping stove.

Cabin Getaway to Lake George
The cabin is secluded, cozy, and charming. Despite it being the snowy season, all the paths were shoveled and the heat inside kept us warm. Minutes away from the eastern coast of the lake and a short drive from Glens Falls and Lake George Village, the location makes you feel like you are in the woods while easily being able to grab a dinner in town. I thoroughly recommend this rental.

Cozy Cabin in the Adirondacks
Cabin Getaway to Lake George
This little cabin was a nice retreat away from home for a few days. Having bedding provided was a nice touch and the bed is very comfortable. The parking is not far from the cabin (maybe 50-100ft) and the driveway was even plowed very shortly after a few inches of snow fell during my stay. There’s a fair amount of yard space available, great for playing in the snow this time of year, and the steam right outside the cabin door is a pretty sight and sound every time you exit. This cabin is also perfect for anyone who doesn’t like dealing with a wood stove to keep warm, instead a gas radiator controlled by a digital thermostat keeps the cabin warm exactly how you like it, a very surprising but much appreciated bonus I found out after arriving. Overall, this cabin was fantastic, warm, and cozy, and I would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for somewhat easy cabin camping in the winter.
