Site 1 - Trail & Hitch Tent Sites
Trail and Hitch is a cute camp site which hosts sites for RV, tents, you can even rent out a tiny home. The bathrooms are nice and they even have a laundry facility. My only recommendation is to potentially book through there website as opposed to Hipcamp. The owners don’t seem to check Hipcamp as often. If you book through their website it’s instant.

Nice and clean campground
Very nice campground that doesn’t jam people close together.
The tents sites were clean and level.
The tiny homes look very cool too!
Bathhouses were very nice and clean!
I was in tent site #6 and was able to get a good Wi_Fi signal.

Trail & Hitch - Pinyon Pines
My tiny home (Pinyon Pine) was absolutely adorable! Very clean, seems really new. Good design utilized the small space well, making it very comfortable. You can see a million stars - the only town nearby is Meeker, and it's tiny, so there's minimal light pollution. And generally very quiet. I slept better than at home (except Saturday night, when some families renting several homes made good use of the communal outdoor space past quiet hours, which I didn’t mind for one night).
The staff was super helpful and the office has a small gift shop with cute local wares.
My parents stayed in the RV area, which really needs some shade, but other than that, we enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere.
There are tons of hiking trails in the vicinity, especially toward Trappers Lake, and barely anyone around, even in mid-summer. Definitely worth the drive to Trappers Lodge for lunch, we saw a million wildflowers and so many deer. I recommend renting an ATV in town so you can explore the extensive OHV Trail system, which is a big thing there. So much to explore!

Trail & Hitch - Sage Hill
Amazing!
Sage Hill was perfect. It is so cute and comfortable. Everything you need in this tiny house. The ladder would be my only nit because the steps aren’t very wide so kind of painful going up to the loft. Location is perfect. We really fell in love with it and now want our own! Super cute decor and clean!!!! Easy instructions for check in and out. Highly recommend.

10/10 Customer Service!
Amanda’s place was so great! We arrived late at night and she still helped us find our site! She even offered us firewood to use! The area is great and the bathrooms are very clean. If you are in the Meeker area this is a 10/10 recommendation! Thanks Amanda!

Tiny home, big fun!
This tiny home community was so special! We loved the home and the amenities (including the public fire pit and large bath houses). Would definitely come back!

Trail & Hitch - Pinyon Pines
Awesome little spot. Excellent tiny home that provided a really unique experience. Would be even better without COVID (plenty of communal space) but the site provided plenty of Safe space and comfort. Well maintained. Wildfire in Glenwood Springs made for an amazing sunset. We would definitely stay here again if we found ourselves in the area.
