Amazing views
Hipcampers say this spot has amazing views.
Over the past two decades, we've planted thousands of grapevines on our 60 acre property. More recently, we have taken the next big step and started producing some fantastic wines from our grapes! Our property expands over 50 acres allowing you to enjoy sweeping views and a peaceful environment. We are located less than 1.5 hours from DC which makes us an awesome weekend adventure out of the city. Our property is also a short drive away from many hiking trails in Shenandoah National Park. After hiking in the park, come back to enjoy some of our wine at our picnic area overlooking the vines! We are also within striking distance of several other great restaurants, wineries and distilleries. Other great activities nearby include apple picking, spelunking, swimming, kayaking, rafting, and of course wine tasting. We are near to Shenandoah National Park, Shenandoah River, Luray Caverns, Skyline Caverns, and Old Rag Mountain. Your host is available and enjoys getting to know Hipcampers. We will greet campers upon arrival but leave campers to enjoy their stay!

Awesome spot!
My girlfriend and I loved the more secluded spot on the property since it was further away from the parking lot. The nature sounds and fireflies at night were awesome. The firepit and picnic table at the site were great and there was plenty of room for a two person tent and a truck. Great colors during sunset and sunrise! Check with the host first to make sure there are no private events the day you camp so you can take advantage of the winery as well.

Beautiful views of the vineyard, and the spots are spaced out so you don’t really have to worry about anyone else being there.

The vineyard and campsite were beautiful, however, there weren't any signs indicating the location. Due to that, I drove past the location and did have some difficulty finding. Also, I paid an extra $25 for "unlimited firewood" and upon arrival the host did not have that firewood. He so kindly ran to the store to purchase some firewood, however, it was not "unlimited". I would recommend this location again, however, be prepared to search for the location and to bring your own firewood.

This was the perfect getaway from the city I needed. The sites were perfectly far apart. Our dogs loved their time roaming around and the bathroom was clean (thanks for adding the Lysol spray as the amenity!) and close enough. They have a working outlet at the bathroom building in case of an emergency.

Beautiful and relaxing place
This is our second time camping here and this time we brought our friends with us. Max, our host, greeted us with 3 bundles of wood and answered all our questions. He was very responsive to our messages and was always very polite and friendly. This place is just beautiful. Our campsite had views of the vineyard and behind it was views of the mountains. Its a very peaceful and beautiful place and was perfect for us to unwind and relax. We will continue to come back to this place and our friends said they want to come back too.

This stay is nice and secluded and was only a 35 min drive from the Old Rag trailhead we wanted since all Shenandoah NP sites were full. Not any signage to guide you, but ample space, privacy, and having a full plumbing bathroom was excellent!
