I loved camping at Oh Pear! - Liam's Lair. This site was beautifully secluded, the sound of the creek behind it was absolutely magical. Greg and Donna were wonderful hosts, we didn't need much of their services, but we did order 6 bundles of wood to the site prior to us getting there. Recommend doing this as there is a slight somewhat steep path to get to the site. Absolutely beautiful though. I loved walking through the woods and along the stream and seeing the wonderful property that they have. Me and my son stayed here in December, it was pretty cold 19-23 degrees. But with our hot tent, we stayed warm. Greg and Donna even set out 2 additional bundles of wood as they knew its was going to get bitterly cold, this was much appreciated as we needed the additional wood due to the cold. They are wonderful hosts, have a beautiful property and would recommend anyone spend their vacations here. We will be back to this site to see the rest of the season, it was absolutely fantastic.

This is my second time at Hanna’s Haven, and we had a great time! We reserved two out of the three Hanna’s Haven sites. They’re a little close together, but since nobody reserved the third site, we had plenty of privacy. The sites are in a little valley along a stream. The land is flat, and it feels hidden and peaceful. There’s a bit of a walk from the car, but Greg generously helped us with his utility vehicle. I’d recommend purchasing firewood from Greg. It’s high quality and easily accessible.

Loved this campsite! Plenty of space, beautiful stream nearby, fire pit and picnic table are very convenient. Everything was clean and very well maintained. Site is very private, and the sound of the running water block most of the noises from the outside.

We had a great time camping at Liam's Lair! We loved how selcuded it was. The fire pit and grill really came in handy, and we had the best sleep listening to the creek. We didn't feel the need to leave camp during our stay so we ventured up and down the creek, checked out Hannah's Haven, and cooked some delicious meals. A few things to note, we were given the option of two trails to access our site. The first trail, which I believe is the main Liam's Lair entrance, is a walking path. I'd suggest you only use this path if you are truly backpacking in, all others using carts should be directed to Hannah's Haven entrance along the creek. HH entrance was muddy but considerably better than the goat path mentioned earlier.
Even with the creek as loud as it is, you CAN hear traffic. We did not realize this when booking but throughout the day and night you could hear traffic from surrounding areas.
We stayed at Liam's Lair, but did check out Hannah's Haven as well. These sites are also very nice with creek access, but the sites are very close to each other and no privacy in between. Would definitely be good for a larger group.
Lastly, while we were setting up camp we got word from the host that the prior campers had to ward off a bear that had stolen their trash. It wasn't a deal breaker for us, but could be for some and it would've been nice for Greg to communicate this prior to our arrival.

Captain Greg’s serene riverfront campsites were lovely to stay at! The site was tucked into nature and right on the river which allowed our dogs to splash around all day until they were tuckered out. He has each site set up with a great fire pit and grill which we enjoyed. His walking paths/trails were also inspiring to my husband for our own property! We will certainly be back!!

We enjoyed our lovely stay at Liam's Lair. It was very secluded. A bit of a hike to get all our gear in which took several trips but was worth it. Did not meet our hosts but they were easy to communicate with & went the extra mile to make our stay enjoyable. They also left us alone and did not disturb us which we appreciated. Had an unexpected visitor Sunday morning in the form of a black bear trying to open our cooler. After taking some pics through the tent window we made our presence known and he soon decided it was best to leave. He crossed over the stream on a fallen log and slowly made his way up the hill. Was a neat experience. It was a lovely spot for our anniversary getaway and we would consider returning. Also noted that Hannah's Haven would be ideal to bring the kids sometime.

Beautiful property. We got a site at Hanna's Haven on memorial day weekend. It was a full house. The sites at Hanna's Haven are pretty close together but the owner said they will be reassessing how close the sites are.
The owners are extremely communicative and the instructions are very clear. We did enjoy ourselves and we would be happy to come back again. May try Liam's Lair next time at the owners suggestion.

this was our 2nd time camping at this amazing spot. It’s a bit of a trek down to the creek but it’s 100% worth it. Very peaceful and good spot for the little ones to play in the water. Highly recommend.

Beautiful next to a stream spacious campsites with picnic tables. There is a bit of a hill to get to/from the campsites but there is a great cart to use. Hannah’s is more accessible if you have a lot of stuff but Liam’s is more remote and tucked away. Fire wood was by campsite and had really nice fire pits. Overall really beautiful and serene and we are excited to come back again.

Donna and Greg were great. Communication couldn't have been better and that's key to a great stay. The site itself (Liam's Lair) was perfectly tucked along the creek side, nice level ground to pitch the tent and a good layout to settle in and set up camp. Go!

This is the 2nd time I've been to Hannah's Haven. My friends liked it so much because there's a lot of shades to hide when its hot and humid. Greg was so helpful to us. He even carry our things w/ an Argo which was a big help with our group of 19 people and his very responsive when we have questions and concerns. We will definitely comeback for the 3rd time. As first time campers, my boyfriend and I couldn’t have picked a better place to stay. Liam’s Lair is a gorgeous site, very private and serene right on a creek. It came equipped with a picnic table (with an umbrella!) as well as a fire pit with a grill top. The hosts, Greg & Donna, are the nicest people who are willing to assist you in any way during your stay. They were informative and left no room for guessing. We used the Flying J rest stop for showers (which I highly recommend) and there is a Walmart about 30 mins away for any last-minute needs. This is a a total hidden gem and I strongly suggest this for any first time campers!!! We fell in love with the site and absolutely plan on returning again.

Very nice camp sites, right up against the creek. Firewood is available and kept dry. Very impressed with the fire pit with swivel cooking grate, made for easy camp cooking. 10/10

Great campsites! The Orchard is such a charming place and the camping setup by the stream is very ideal! Nice big fire pit at each site and there were plenty of good places to set up a tent. We also loved chatting with our other host, Donna, about the orchard.

We had the greatest experience. Greg was incredibly informative and helpful during our stay. He was very flexible with our group and allowed us to the make the most of our time. The tent sites have the greatest firepits ever and great picnic tables. The creek makes for a perfect setting. There is a steep hill to get down to the sites (for the Hannah's Haven) so I would have packed more lightly to make for an easier exit. Greg did supply a wagon with large wheels to make the job as easy as possible.

I love the camp it is amazing
Sound of river mixed with sound is bird and wind it is so beautiful
Also the camp is safe and waking up in the morning to see dears close to tent and river it was a price less. Greg and his wife are amazing did every thing to help us enjoy the two days
One thing if you don’t mind like me is there is no shower area and regular bath
There is a portable toilet which I don’t mind as it gives you the special connect to the nature thanks Greg and the wife

It is so beautiful. Only one thing for some people might don’t like it but for me was what I like is no shower and bath only portable toilets , for my the thing that make you connect to the nature

We had an amazing weekend at Hannah’s Haven! We were return campers, and this remains one of the best (if not THE best) Hipcamps we’ve ever been to. Greg and Donna are very informative and responsive. The sites are clean. The fire pits are awesome for cooking. The stream provides constant entertainment for kids (and adults!) - plus great white noise for sleeping. It’s a great spot for families!

Greg's land is simply beautiful. We camped at Hannah's Haven site #1. Our first day and night on site was not pleasant at all... it poured down rain all night long. It made for a damp cold sleep, but my son and I toughed it out. Saturday our second day the rain finally stopped and it warmed up. We then went exploring, taking many awesome pictures. The sites are located right along the stream. The sound of the running water was so relaxing. The supplied fire pit with grill was an added plus. We ordered our firewood upon booking. Greg had it all ready for our arrival, covered completely in plastic so it was bone dry despite the rain. Each site has it's own firepit, its own picnic table nestled next to a beautiful flowing stream. Greg was MORE THAN CURTIOUS! He checked with us everyday via text making sure that everything was going alright. The pear orchard on the land was just begining to blossom. There are so many places to take amazing photo memories. We will DEFINITELY visit here again. It is an awesom site to camp at, unlike regular campsites that you are packed in like sardines, these sites are fairly big. I give Greg and his campsite 4 thumbs up, my two, and my son's two.

We stayed at Liam’s Lair last weekend and got a chance to meet Greg and his family. They were such gracious and generous hosts. The campsite is a short, easy hike from the car and is well worth the extra effort since the campsite is right next to a lovely stream. It was very private and quiet and we loved falling asleep to the sound of the water flowing by. The site was well stocked with dry firewood and the fire ring was perfect for cooking over the fire. There was a flat, grassy area for our tent. Since we were the only campers, we walked to Hannah’s Haven and it was beautiful as well. Would definitely recommend any of the sites and we hope to be back soon!
