Second time staying here (first time site 6- this time was site 5) and like last time we had a great experience. Paid for wood there, loved the water, and really enjoyed the location.

We stayed at site #5 and everything was perfect. The host Curtis and the site. We arrived and noticed he left some dry kindling to start a fire and they have plenty of firewood to purchase. The tent was clean and even had a chair to use. The bathroom was really close and the views were amazing. We definitely will return in the future.

If you're looking for a place to just melt into nature, this is it. It's quiet, and secluded. It's beautiful, and tranquil. The site was very clean and had plenty of space. It was right on the water, and had a picnic table and fire ring available. It had little sections of woods on each side so you don't have to look at your neighbors. It was also very close to the bathroom, which had hand sanitizer and lots of toilet paper. The bathroom also had lights in it that came on at night, which was very convenient. The hosts are some of the nicest people we've ever met, and you can tell they take great pride in this Campground. They had split wood for sale on site and also had ice. Their is a trail to a little fishing/swimming hole under the bridge where there were tons of trout. The site was very easy to find and get to. It was only about 5 mins to the closest store and about 10 mins to a local spring. This place is a great place to get back to the basics with a little added convenience.

Great, private spot on a beautiful piece of property. My family enjoyed turning over rocks in the creek and cooking over the fire. The tent was plenty large enough for our family of 4 and the toilet was close by. We’ll be back again!

It was the prefect place to be one with nature but also not far from society if you ever feel like you forgot something or need something. The campsites are very well taken care of and leave room for what ever setup you got. Having wood on site is also a plus. Can’t wait to see what more they do to the place. Definitely recommend any of the sites you won’t be disappointed. Hope to come back in fall and see the change of the leaves.

Loved this site - plenty of space for a family, you can use the tent that is there or pitch a few of your own. Several flat spots to put your things. Close to the toilet. You know other people are nearby but it still feels private. Being right next to the water is *chef's kiss* lovely. Everything is clean and well kept. Curtis was great, friendly and responded quickly. Definitely will be staying here again!

Primitive as stated. Fairly flat lot with picnic table and fire ring. Right beside the creek. Outhouse toilet across from the site. The town of Polk is about 5 minutes away. Check out Main Street Market in Polk for great made to order food and meat department.

We loved camp site 6 and cannot wait to go back already! It was easy to find, had wood available to purchase, and check in was beyond easy.
Loved site 6 location as it was secluded enough that the other camp sites didn’t bother us and the bathroom was right next to our site and it was very clean. Our site was right next to the creek and we enjoyed the water.
Price was amazing for the entire one night we stayed there and plan on returning for a longer weekend next time.

Couldn't have been any easier to enjoy a beautiful spot. Can park within 10 feet and it's all flat. There is also a very clean and large tent setup if needed. Water was beautiful along our spot and was great to cool down in. Would definitely recommend if you want a quiet scenic spot that's easy to get to and enjoy.

We had a peaceful, relaxing weekend next to the creek! Curtis was a great host and the site was lovely. The sound of of the creek was so relaxing. The sites are far enough apart to have privacy, and its just a short walk to the clean privy. Beautiful shaded area. We will definitely be back!

Great secluded spot to camp for a weekend getaway. The hosts are awesome as well! Couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend the weekend. Just beware it can get pretty wet down there during heavy rain, possible flooding.

I happened to stumble across this campground and boy am I glad we did. Quiet, secluded, clean, and the host, Curtis, was so helpful and kind. I guess the part I liked the very best was that it was secluded and private and not to mention the creek for wading and fishing. Our kids and dogs loved it. We were surrounded by nature. Easy to find and worth every penny. A great weekend away from the city. Check this campground out you’ll definitely want to return ⛺️ you don’t hear peepers in the city. 💜 Our kids caught lightning bugs and we saw tadpoles! S’mores and a campfire to end each evening. Wood is on hand to purchase! Book today

My son and I really enjoyed our stay at Stoney Run. The camp is in a beautiful setting, cut out of the woods. The site was spacious with a nice table. A fire was already going for us when we arrived. It was a great experience.

Stayed at site 5 this weekend. The host Curtis already had a fire going for me when I arrived. Him and his wife were great hosts. The site was better than expected. I was able to relax in nature and fish right at my spot. There were other campers but the sites are very far apart so you had your privacy. The site had a very large tent already set up for use. So taking down camp the was a breeze. I will definitely be coming back and staying at Stoney Creek camp ground again.
