All lodging sites have heating for your comfort and are available year round! The River's Edge campsites sit on the shoreline of the Delaware River at the western edge of New York State overlooking the mountains of Pennsylvania. Our canvas tents and open air platforms perch between the river and the former Delaware & Hudson Canal which was once was used to transport raw goods by barge to New York City via the 'port' of Port Jervis. The remnants of the canal walls are throughout the property including a 300 person theater which we created to both preserve and feature this industrial history. It also makes a great place for an event or a movie night.
Today, the original canal towpath, along which barges would be pulled and floated downstream, is a trail that links all of the campsites over 5 acres and at the furthest end an eel fishing camp that is in operation from June to October (say 'hi' to Jim).
In the early 1900s, the train replaced the canal as the primary method of moving goods into New York and if you are lucky — you will hear the train rumble by along the river on the Pennsylvania side. There is something spectacular in the absolute still and grandness of the river, the mountains and the ongoing industrial history of the valley. It is a reminder of the way things used to be.
The farmhouse and cabins are located opposite the campsites on other side of route 97. Next to them are 50 acres of wild forest to hike and explore. These accommodations are great for guests who want more amenities but still with easy access to river. Pair campsites and cabins so that all your guests have their best experience. Also, this home features a large main bedroom on the main floor with a king-size bed, a private bathroom, and a baby crib. The main floor has a second bedroom, which is great for kids. This bedroom features two bunk beds, toys, and a TV for our young guests to enjoy. The lower level features two other large bedrooms and a full bathroom. The kitchen on the main floor has everything you need to enjoy your meals. Pots, pans, utensils, dishes, and spices are all provided for our guests. For our outdoor grill, we give a propane tank. We also offer linen and towels. The home has a free WiFi connection and cable TV. We try our best to make your stay as comfortable as we can. All you need to do is grab your clothes, friends, and family and visit our home!

We have 104 acres along the Allegheny river that we are willing to share with people who enjoy the outdoors. My husband and I, have been living here for twenty years and just enjoy the beauty this valley has to offer. We see bald eagles everyday, and every once in while some otters can be seen playing in the river.
Black Fox Island is visible downstream and provides a pool in the river that is a mile long. A person can easily paddle upstream; when the river is at normal summer levels.
Over 100 years ago, this was an industrial area with railroads, deep mines, strip mines, and gristmills. Some remnants of those times are still visible.
Paddling, biking, walking, fishing and swimming are some of the activities to do here, but doing nothing and watching the river go by seems to be the most popular.

This lovely abode boasts a breathtaking living area with high ceilings, expansive windows, and a cozy wood-burning fireplace. The deck provides a picturesque view of the serene lake, and the private hot tub for up to 7 people will surely be a hit. Plus, there's endless entertainment, with a game room equipped with a pool, ping pong, and Foosball tables.
Also, this home features a large main bedroom on the main floor with a king-size bed, a private bathroom, and a baby crib. The main floor has a second bedroom, which is great for kids. This bedroom features two bunk beds, toys, and a TV for our young guests to enjoy. The lower level features two other large bedrooms and a full bathroom. The kitchen on the main floor has everything you need to enjoy your meals. Pots, pans, utensils, dishes, and spices are all provided for our guests. For our outdoor grill, we give a propane tank. We also offer linen and towels. The home has a free WiFi connection and cable TV. We try our best to make your stay as comfortable as we can. All you need to do is grab your clothes, friends, and family and visit our home!
Our lakefront house is located in the heart of the Poconos! With a gorgeous view of the lake and all of the amenities this home offers, you will enjoy your stay. You will love to swim in the lake, kayaking, walk to the community lake beach, or enjoy your time in the community pool. Basketball and tennis courts, playground for the youngest of our guests, there is something for everyone! For those who want to stay in and relax, you will love the beautiful view of the lake, watch the wildlife from the deck, play a game of pool, ping pong, or foosball in the lower level game room, or sit across the wood-burning fireplace and relax! You will love this home.
**** The House is located just about 15 minutes away from Pocono's main attractions. Camelback Mountain Resort is famous for its snowboarding/ski/snow tubing ventures. Kalahari Waterpark Poconos, hiking trails, and shopping centers are all within a short driving distance from the house. Being in the center of all the main attractions allows for many outdoor adventures during your stay!

The community has the right to close the pools due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances, such as a lack of lifeguards. We do not have control over that, although if we are aware of any issues, we immediately communicate them to our guests.

Guests are welcome to enjoy the entire house, with the exception of one locked closet.

*Please be aware that all paperwork, including the community registration, water equipment waiver, and copy of ID, must be submitted to the owner by 3 days prior to check-in. If this is not completed on time, guests will be responsible for covering the additional community fee for late registration.
*Registration paperwork must be submitted at least 3 days before check-in to avoid a $150 later registration fee
*Pets are $100 per pet
*Please do the following before checking out to avoid any further cleaning fees:
-Gather all trash & recycling and place them in the trash bins outside.
-Please wash your dishes or place them in the dishwasher and run.
-Make sure all windows and doors are locked and closed
-Place all used towels in a pile by the shower or laundry room
-No need to strip the beds!
- Please inform us of any damages/stains, etc., as soon as possible
- I would also appreciate any suggestions or recommendations to improve the property.

We have 104 acres along the Allegheny river that we are willing to share with people who enjoy the outdoors. My husband and I, have been living here for twenty years and just enjoy the beauty this valley has to offer. We see bald eagles everyday, and every once in while some otters can be seen playing in the river.
Black Fox Island is visible downstream and provides a pool in the river that is a mile long. A person can easily paddle upstream; when the river is at normal summer levels.
Over 100 years ago, this was an industrial area with railroads, deep mines, strip mines, and gristmills. Some remnants of those times are still visible.
Paddling, biking, walking, fishing and swimming are some of the activities to do here, but doing nothing and watching the river go by seems to be the most popular.

Had such a lovely stay with Jackie and Chris. Not only were they super accommodating of our last minute booking, they moved our campsite to one safer and dryer in the weather. We spent a beautiful cozy night despite the rain, we even got to have a little fire before it got too wet! Wood bundles for purchase are large and generous. Got to meet both Chris and Jackie and felt like we'd known them for years. Highly recommend this sweet little spot-- we'll be back!!

We stayed at site #5 and everything was perfect. The host Curtis and the site. We arrived and noticed he left some dry kindling to start a fire and they have plenty of firewood to purchase. The tent was clean and even had a chair to use. The bathroom was really close and the views were amazing. We definitely will return in the future.
