Bill and Nancy have a beautiful place to camp and are lovely hosts! Campsite 7 was private, but a shirt stroll away from all of the offered amenities. We particularly enjoyed the ice cold, fresh spring pump during the heatwave. And if you're lucky, you may wake up to turkeys!

Quiet relaxing experience

Every summer we go to Bill's land for spending the night there. This time again we had a wonderful experience. Very quiet and secluded as they mentioned. Thank you Bill for your nice hospitality.

Idyllic Woodland Meadow Campsite

Bill was great at communicating ahead of time and greeting us. We felt right at home. He was great at explaining the facilities and the boundaries of the site. The site was beautiful and peaceful, and we woke up well-rested and found ourselves being serenaded by a wide variety of pleasant woodland birds. Our dogs were delighted to explore and sniff about and we would absolutely come back to this gem of a campsite.

Safe and welcoming campsite

Our first stay was memorable, though unexpectedly short. We were welcomed to stay the night there during a medical transport for our nonprofit animal rescue. We connected our camper van to electricity for the night, looking forward to a night’s rest after a long week of surgeries. Unfortunately, one of the dogs we were helping had an unexpected and urgent medical emergency, just as we were settling in. Her surgical sutures were failing due to fragile skin, and she was starting to bleed. We needed to find the closest ER open all night. Bill gave suggestions and made some calls on our behalf. Before we left, two hours after arriving, Nancy greeted me with surgical gauze and pads she had on hand in her home. I hugged her and thanked her for her help. We used everything she gave us and got our dear patient to a hospital in time. While it was not the overnight stay we were expecting, our experience exemplifies the quality and character of our hosts. We make the trip annually through Pennsylvania, and we will most definitely be staying there again. Hopefully, next time we can enjoy waking up on their beautiful property! Thanks again to Bill and Nancy for your hospitality. In a sea of faceless, corporate owned hotels and campgrounds along I80, you offer true warmth and a welcoming spirit that gives us hope in humanity.

Beautiful property!

My stay at Bill’s place was fabulous. Loads of wildlife, secluded and beautiful. The property is very well maintained and it’s clear that they love sharing it. I would absolutely stay there again if I’m in the area.

Relaxing and scenic

If you are looking for peace, quiet and nature this is the spot. My most recent camping adventure at this site allowed me to see birds, chipmunks, squirrels, rabbits and even a turkey. And Bill is a fantastic host. I will be back again.

Camping with mother nature.

If you are looking for peaceful quiet and mother nature this is the place to camp. This trip i saw birds, chipmunks, squirrels, deer and even a turkey. It is the perfect place to relax and unwind.

Bill and Nancy were very accommodating. Bill made sure to meet us when we got there. The outhouse is clean and there is a sink! It was quiet and peaceful there, I would definitely stay again.

We had an absolutely delightful time! The clover hill campsite was a wonderful retreat- we loved watching the fireflies and stars every night as we went to sleep! Bill and Nancy were welcoming hosts and we so appreciated their clean flush toilet, sink and solar shower set up- especially to be able to freshen up after the hot spring days we spent here.

A wonderful country stay.

We loved our stay with Bill! It was a perfect spot, so very quiet. Their property is beautiful and off the road a perfect amount. Bill was a fantastic host and made sure our stay was enjoyable. We highly recommend Bill’s property and will surely return when passing through again. We had site 5 and it was easy to level, and the electric performed flawlessly.

This was our fourth time staying at Bill & Nancy's place since we discovered it in 2023. We love it there! It is so beautiful and peaceful, and Bill is a great host. We are always a little sad to have to leave, but we are looking forward to our next opportunity to return.

Great hospitatlity!

Bill and Nancy were very quick to respond, accommodating and helpful! He even even offered to loan me a sleeping bag when the weather was colder than I'd planned for! I ended up caught in traffic and was not able to stay there, but I have their place on my list for cross-country drives!
