We booked one of the primitive sites, but due to the standing rainwater and mud, they moved us to a different campsite on the upper level near the RVs. Unfortunately, it wasn’t very private, and with kids and a dog, we didn’t have much space. They were very accommodating though, and allowed us to choose another spot that worked out a little better for us. Honestly, I think this might be the nicest campground I’ve ever stayed at. The bathrooms were always completely spotless, and everything is fairly new and well maintained. The kids loved playing at the park, and the dog park was a really nice feature. One thing to keep in mind if you have a small dog, our little dog could run right underneath the gate! The hub was incredible. It’s the perfect space if you need a quiet place to work or just want somewhere to relax. The complimentary coffee was such a nice touch and just not something you typically see at a campground. They also have books and games available. They even have a place to clip your dog’s leash outside the hub and the office, which is very convenient. My kids, our dog, and I loved exploring the creek. They have strings of lights leading down the path to the creek, so I imagine it would be beautiful to walk down there in the evening. You can tell a lot of thought has gone into making this campground as convenient and enjoyable as possible for their campers. Despite the initial campsite situation, we had a great experience and will definitely be back some day!

Staff was wonderful. When we arrived they let us know our preselected tent site was a little damp, with more rain on the way. They gave us a few options to relocate and let us choose. S’mores and bonfire were a nice touch. The Hub space is legit.

Staff was very friendly and included treats for my dogs when I signed in. The sites were really nice and level. The bathrooms were rustic/modern, well maintained, and clean. The playground and dog park were a nice bonus, and The Hub was beautiful and relaxing with complimentary coffee! I was only able to stay one night because I was passing through Pennsylvania on my way home to Central New York, but will definitely stay again, hopefully for at least a few days next time.

I believe there are about 7 tent camping sites available to reserve. We reserved 93&94 at our stay. Wasn’t much privacy as the RVs were right there across a road path. If you want privacy/seclusion reserve sites 95 or 96. 96 being the absolute best spot to reserve for tent camping if that’s what you’re looking for! The staff was super friendly! There was The Hub with WiFi, comfortable places to sit and relax, and complimentary coffee, tea, cider! The Hub, the Main Office, and both bathroom locations had spots to hook up your dogs with poop bags and water available for your four legged friends which I thought was a great idea! There was a doggy playground to let your dog run around in! There was a cool Playground for children of all ages, trails with lights around so you could walk at night! Very pretty! From campsite 94, about a mile down a trail less to Deer Creek! There was fishing and swimming there! The Main Office was a gift shop, along with essentials and some snacks and drink options available! There was also a shelf with books to “leave one take one”! Highly suggest checking it out and for tent camping to reserve site 96!

I loved Rustic Acres so much that I may change my route home so that I can stop here again on my way back west. Not only is the property beautiful with tall trees and the perfect blend of nature and amenities, but the staff is so kind and generous. They even have a lounge space stocked with free coffee, tea, high-speed WiFi and board games where digital nomads can work from comfy couches or a beautiful dining table. There are tons of trails surrounding the property, one of which takes you to a nearby brewery with a poutine food truck. Seriously. This place is perfect. I’ll be back.

This place is almost entirely RVs with sites packed pretty close together, but sites 95 and 96 are off on one edge and enjoy some separation compared to the RV sites. Note for 95 the camp stage is right there, and when in use would cast a good amount of light on the site. Worked ok for hammock camping, short gravel hill to access with wheels.

Nice, off-the-beaten-path campground with lots of ammenities, clean restrooms, and a wonderful community “HUB” for relaxing and getting connected. The only downside to our stay was that the site we picked (hard to see online what you might be next to…) was very close to a long-term camper who’s living space was about a foot away from our sewer dump. Made dump time a bit awkward. Otherwise, a very quiet and peaceful location that I’m sure will prosper in the coming years. Would definitely stay again.

93) Camping Water & Electric Site
We tented here for one night, and it was a very pleasant experience. The place was notably tidy and kept well in-order, and much of the property was very pretty. The tent sites in particular were nicely situated under a grove of well-spaced pines. Maybe a hundred yards down-hill from the sites a short foot path takes one through the woods to a very pretty creek, where we availed ourselves of much some much needed tranquility. (It's worth noting that if you like more privacy, though, while one side of the sites is wooded, on other side runs the road, across which sit some RV sites. So the level of seclusion is somewhat minimal, though no less than at any typical campground, and still they are segregated in their own area on the other side of the road.) The staff were courteous and very accomodating (they even lent us a grill for cooking, as we'd not brought one [note that the fire rings do not have grills]). All in all, it was a great time for a couple days of rest and reprieve.

96) Primitive Wooded Campsite
We stayed at campsite 95 and it felt really private. The Hub was also really useful to get a little work done that came up last minute. It did feel a little more RV park-y than I was expecting, but between all of the incredible amenities and how lovely our actual campsite was I didn't mind at all. Definitely Recommend!

Very clean campground with a great vibe and a super friendly atmosphere. The communal building was a really nice spot to relax and unwind. I’ll definitely be back to spend more time here and would highly recommend this campground.

Luxury Glamping Tent
We absolutely loved it! My husband’s from UT. Camping is his thing, not mine…but this was awesome. Well stocked camp site. Everything you need is there….and clean with a white duvet (my personal fav). Clean bathrooms, showers, a beach, bike trail, walking trails, waterfalls nearby…truly a nice weekend adventure. We’ll come again!

This is my second stay at Rustic Acres and it gets better each time. It’s a smaller campground but so clean and manicured, great amenities but still gives you the woodsy experience you’re looking for. Everyone abides by quiet hours, friendly campers, got a great nights sleep. We will definitely be returning!

We loved this camping experience. We booked a tent site with electric and water. Easy to get to, beautifully maintained, and everything you need is there too. Firewood and ice at multiple places around the site, really clean bathrooms and showers, and the workers/hosts were always friendly. Each weekend seems like there is something extra going on there that just help elevate the experience. Will be going back and recommending to anyone.

We had such a wonderful stay at this campground! The campsites were incredibly spacious, giving us plenty of room to spread out and relax without feeling cramped. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. One of the standout features was how beautifully maintained the grounds were—lush greenery, clean facilities, and everything clearly cared for with pride. It really made the whole experience more enjoyable. The location is fantastic—peaceful and scenic, yet just a short drive from tons of great local attractions, restaurants, and activities. Whether you're into biking, hiking, or exploring local spots, there's no shortage of things to do nearby. Highly recommend the Route 66 Country Trail and a stop at Lost In the Wilds Brewing. We’ll definitely be back and would highly recommend this campground to anyone looking for a relaxing and well-kept place to stay!
