All lodging sites have heating for your comfort and are available year round! The River's Edge campsites sit on the shoreline of the Delaware River at the western edge of New York State overlooking the mountains of Pennsylvania. Our canvas tents and open air platforms perch between the river and the former Delaware & Hudson Canal which was once was used to transport raw goods by barge to New York City via the 'port' of Port Jervis. The remnants of the canal walls are throughout the property including a 300 person theater which we created to both preserve and feature this industrial history. It also makes a great place for an event or a movie night.
Today, the original canal towpath, along which barges would be pulled and floated downstream, is a trail that links all of the campsites over 5 acres and at the furthest end an eel fishing camp that is in operation from June to October.
In the early 1900s, the train replaced the canal as the primary method of moving goods into New York and if you are lucky — you will hear the train rumble by along the river on the Pennsylvania side. There is something spectacular in the absolute still and grandness of the river, the mountains and the ongoing industrial history of the valley. It is a reminder of the way things used to be.
The farmhouse and cabins are located opposite the campsites on other side of route 97. Next to them are 50 acres of wild forest to hike and explore. These accommodations are great for guests who want more amenities but still with easy access to river. Pair campsites and cabins so that all your guests have their best experience.
Contact us to coordinate for larger group bookings. Please note that a significant portion of county tax/fees and cancellation or change fees may be avoided by booking the base amount of people (4) and at a much later date adding extra guests. Guests NOT occupying canvas tent (lodging) and bringing their own tents should not be paying an occupancy tax but there is no provision for this in the app. We do not want our guests paying taxes -- that benefit no one but useless bureaucracy! Extra guests may be added the week before booking. Just let us know your plans through the app!

Tall Oaks Campsite: A small private site and is our only rustic style site, so no water or electricity, designed maximum 6 people with parking for 3 cars on site and space for 4 average size tents. This site has a picnic table, portable toilet, scenic overlook, hammock, fireplace, a bench and charcoal grill.
Twisted Oak Campsite: A medium-sized luxury private site includes potable water and electricity on site, designed for maximum 8 guests with parking for 4 cars on site and has space for several tents. This site has a picnic table, portable toilet, scenic overlook, hammock, fireplace, benches, charcoal grill, and on-site string lights.
Red Maple Campsite: A large luxury private site that includes potable water and electricity on site, designed for a maximum 10 guests with on-site parking space that is 90ft long and 20ft wide, for an RV or 6-8 cars and overflow parking for several more cars. It is designed to be backed into with an RV and then pulled out of. This site can handle several tents and has two picnic tables, two portable toilets, a scenic overlook, hammock, fireplace, benches, a charcoal grill, and on-site string lights.
Aspen RV Campsite: A medium private luxury drive through site great for RVs, rooftop tents, pop ups or camper vans. This site includes potable water and electricity on site, designed with water and electric hookups for a single camping vehicle, maximum 6 people. This site is a drive through site, so guests don’t have to back in or out. This site also has a picnic table, portable toilet, scenic overlook, hammock, fireplace, charcoal grill, and a bench.

Seven Feathers has 6.5 acres with several wildflower and herb gardens, along with a small fruit Orchard! Our property is close to Allegheny River access with a local boat ramp in Reesdale, and a fishing pier at Lock 8. From here, you can take the locks all the way to Pittsburgh.
Several ATV trails have easy access because you can legally ride on the township roads! A lot of wildlife to see, including deer, bear, fox, coyote, several bird species, and bald eagles. We're close to State Gamelands for hunting. You're welcome to eat any fruit that has ripened here during your stay.
The miles of ATV trails are also fun to hike or ride your horse on. Campfires allowed, leashed pets allowed, must be leashed at all times, dogs, cats, and horses. Bring your pets! There is a spring with potable water on the property. Beautiful sunsets here, plus an amazing view across Reesdale Road. You might catch a rainbow too if it rains! Our personal favorite view is the vast nighttime sky. Perfect place for stargazers. Watch the beautiful sunrises and "moon-rises" over the tree tops.
You can run generators anytime, but please be considerate of other campers. Very Private location. There is a bar/restaurant close by in Adrian. It's 10 miles to downtown Kittanning, where festivals and concerts in the park are held, plus more restaurants, stores, and rails to trails for bike riders. There are fishing ponds and large glacial rock formations nearby.
Tours to the places mentioned can be scheduled for a fee if we're available. We will have a small map of the area with places marked. You're welcome to cut and use fallen trees. Please don't bring firewood from other counties due to the spread of diseases and destructive insects. Welcome to Seven Feathers, where you can just relax or partake in the recreational activities. The 66-acre property has been licensed as an airport (PS20) since the 1980s. It is currently an active, private airport. We don't sell fuel or offer services beyond camping so we primarily have only air traffic with few to no landings each year. In other words, it is very quiet here except during the occasional low pass. We are very eager for pilots to fly in and camp out! The beautiful sunsets and stargazing night skies are a real treat for anyone that comes to visit. Lots of deer, birds, and other wildlife can be seen out and about. Bring your telescope and binoculars to view all the property has to offer! Note that we are always working to improve our slice of heaven, thus we do have tools, vehicles, and equipment stored around the farm that if not used now will be one day. We appreciate your understanding that some areas are used for our personal / farm storage. If you're not into looking at our farmware, there are a few nearby campgrounds.

We are within walking distance of Swatara State Park and close to the Appalachian Trail. Short drive to the local winery, bowling alley, pub/diner, and movie theater. Grocery stores and gas are also nearby. Miles of hiking, rail trail, single-track mountain biking, and kayaking are all right here! See our kayak and bike rentals under extras!
Hershey Park is approximately a 30-minute drive from our location. Rausch Creek, Anthracite, and Reading off-road areas are also nearby.

Perfect hosts! Ed helped me leveling out the camper when we arrived. Lisa brought pamphlets for the area. Very helpful. Beautiful secluded site. Deer morning and evening. Very quiet! Not far too elk viewing areas. Hope to be back in the fall.

Amazing lean-to camping experience right on the Delaware River at The Outpost Resort in Pond Eddy, New York. The riverfront views, peaceful environment, and beautiful scenery made it the perfect getaway. The campsites were clean, well-maintained, and close to great outdoor activities like fishing and kayaking. The amenities were convenient, and the hospitality from Erin and the team was outstanding — they were very welcoming, friendly, and made the stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing nature escape.

Weekend Trip to Tohi Woodlands
I stayed in the Dogwood pod and it was amazing. Everything was clean, the water pressure and temperature was amazing, and Grace really made sure the cabin had everything (tea/coffee, fire starter, lanterns, soap, etc.)

We had a great time although it rained for 48 hours straight. Anne's property is beautiful, the animals are so sweet and there's a fun winery less than a 5 minute drive away. We would love to camp here again on a sunny weekend!

A gorgeous haven with warm, hospitable hosts. My fiancee, dog, and I had a wonderful time enjoying the sun, hanging out with horses and sheep, and simply allowing ourselves to take a much needed step away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
I am more than excited to plan a second visit.

What an amazing surprise when we pulled up to our RV spot…the view of the river was spectacular! The Outpost resort was quiet (even with a large group of BMW motorcycle riders)! We enjoyed the Outpost restaurant right across the street…delicious Mojitos! And to our surprise, just before dusk, across the river were 5 deer munching away on the grass and a mama bear and her two cubs playing in the trees. Such a site to see! We absolutely loved this campground and we will be back!

This was our second time camping at White Squirrel and it was by far one of the best camping trips to date. White Squirrel has undergone a massive renovation since our first visit back in 2024. The camp site has been upgraded to having a full bathroom and hot/cold shower on site vs having to walk down to the pavilion. In addition, the platform structure has been fully finished into a composite deck lookout complete with lighting, Adirondack chairs, tables and electricity access. The views remain some of the best in all of Halifax, PA and truly a picture perfect camp site for both car and tent camping. Our group of 8 had no problem fitting on the site. Overall, I highly recommend White Squirrel and can't wait until our return!

Great place to set up the RV for a hiking base camp. We were greeted by Russ as soon as we pulled in and he made sure that everything was good with the site and that all of our needs were met. Very attentive and accommodating, something rare to find these days in a host/camp manager. Nothing but 100%+ happy with staying at this place. Thanks again for a great stay. We will be returning.

We had a great stay. The site was exceptionally well stocked. The hosts provide 5 gallons of water as I believe was described, but that won’t go super far if you’re doing dishes etc. the site is definitely a work of love with tons of random little details.
The whole site is called slumberland at rivers edge if you’d rather book with them directly (which I’d do if I went back).

We’ve spent an amazing weekend on the Sunrise tent territory. There is a plenty of shade so it’s not all under the sun, so not as burning hot as it would’ve been if it was under the direct sunlight. Water was freezing but I guess some people still swim there, a very rapid current though so be mindful. The host was very thoughtful and asked us ahead of time around what time we are coming so he could have everything set up before arrival time - we already had the dinnerware set up and lights on by the time we came. He responded very quickly and was very nice. The only two things to mention - the toilet area was not the best in terms of convenience but pretty clean and no smell. And the second thing - we saw a black bear walking across the river but obviously that is not pertaining to the premises or the host. So just an fyi. Overall, we all had a lovely weekend and would love to come back again!

Our third time at Muddy Myst. Wonderful campsite. The common areas are well stocked and maintained with care. The kids really enjoy getting out onto the lake. Perfect for a weekend with family.
