****P L E A S E ******R E A D ********T H I S **********W H O L E *************D E S C R I P T I O N!!!!**** GARBAGE MUST BE BROUGHT HOME WITH YOU!!!! If you bring it here, it goes home with you. We had a group not understand this so I want to make sure it is clear. Firewood is for sale here for CASH! Please bring CASH with you. Sixty acres of magical trees, a one acre pond, and a three acre field. From the road there is a two hundred foot elevation gain to the top of the hill. Along the way are several hundred feet of rock ledges, caves, and critters. Most of the land is sloping, but the hilltop is flat as a table, with prehistoric-looking ferns under a dense canopy of mature trees. The campsites are ultra secluded- about a quarter mile apart from each other. All sites include a fire pit, cooking grate, picnic table, and sites 2&3 have platforms. Camp ONE: is on the top of the hill, and a small car can be driven to within 150 feet of it. It is pretty flat, and surrounded by blackberry bushes, ferns, and trees. Camp TWO: is on a bluff overlooking a picturesque swamp, filled with hemlock trees and ferns. This site can not be driven to with anything less than a high clearance SUV (ie- jeep wrangler), so I consider it a hike in site. It is under a ten minute walk from the pond and parking lot, but the view and feel is worth it. (It has been brought to our attention that there is occasionally a group riding atvs on a neighboring property that are audible from this site. We have no control over what time it happens, so please keep this in mind) Camp THREE: is accessible with a four wheel drive vehicle, something at least as high as an SUV. It is the closest to the house and pond, but still far enough to feel secluded and completely private. If you choose to walk there, it’s only a couple minutes from the parking area. Throughout the property, there are many quiet places to hang out, flat spots to do yoga, trails to explore, and fishing and swimming in the beautiful pond. Camp Three is accessible with a four wheel drive vehicle, something at least as high as an SUV. It is the closest to the house and pond, but still far enough to feel secluded and completely private. If you choose to walk there, it’s only a couple minutes from the parking area.

Camp Two is on a bluff overlooking a picturesque swamp, filled with hemlock trees and ferns. This site can not be driven to with anything less than a high clearance SUV, so I consider it a hike in site. It is a ten minute walk from the pond and parking lot, but the view and feel is worth it. Fully renovated 2023! This three bedroom, two full bath home has everything a family or group needs to escape. Situated at the top of a 15 acre parcel, the house overlooks a pond with views of the surrounding mountains you won't be able to keep your eyes off of! With a furnished 700 sqft basement hangout, covered porch just outside the large kitchen, generous living room with a view, and spaced out bedrooms for more privacy, you won't want to leave!

Camped again here in November! Dan kept us warm with ample firewood and hospitality. Always have the best time here. Highly recommend a stay!

Host was very receptive, he space was very woodsy, and a perfect getaway for a group of friends and family. Had wood for sale if needed, fresh eggs, and an ax and shovel which was a great touch. Highly recommend this site.

Beautiful location, campsites are set up in great spots, lots to explore on the property also very private. Daniel is very friendly responsive and helpful. Outside the property is nothing but breathtaking views of many mountains, native wildlife, and the Delaware River. We had great cell service on site, not so much outside that. We will 100% return.

Daniel’s family is very welcoming. A great host should a say. We really enjoyed our two nights stay in Dan’s land. Place is secluded and peaceful. We get to hike and explore different camp sites during the day. The trail is very well maintained and easy to access. Worth the visit! We will definitely going back soon.

Daniel is a phenomenal host and his property is beautiful! Went with my wife and dog for our first ever (!) camping experience and it was everything I was hoping for. Quiet and private campsites, beautiful views, fire pit and firewood provided, clear pond perfect for swimming/rinsing off, fantastic hosts and cute dog. I will definitely be back and highly recommend for a remote (but not isolated) experience. 10/10.

We had a great stay! The host was excellent—very friendly, flexible, and even let us check out a little later, which we really appreciated. My favorite part of the experience was the trails right on the property. It truly felt like the perfect mix of camping and hiking all in one spot. Being able to explore the trails without leaving the campsite made the stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend!

So nice that my partner and I returned two weeks after we last camped! This hipcamp is a must. You won't be disappointed. One of the biggest highlights of this trip was the host's suggestion to check out Good Find Farm, which is a certified organic farm stand. Every single vegetable from this place was incredible. Definitely check it out when you stay!

The camp site is beautiful, very secluded, plenty of woods to explore. Was really nice to have our dog off leash without having to worry that she would disturb others. Site is nicely equipt with picnic table, an ax and shovel and the platform for the tent was really nice. We were there for a holiday weekend and there was a bit of noise from neighboring properties; ATVs, music and some party people, but I imagine it’s not usually like that. Daniel was very nice and the property was beautiful and fun to explore, eggs were delicious too!! Would definitely recommend but maybe not on a holiday weekend 😊.

A beautiful camping spot with the family! We camped at site 3 which was perfect, close to the toilet/sink, but far in enough for some nice 360° of forest. There was a beautiful pond, and a hiking trail around the property. Daniel and his family are very sweet, and he let me and my son feed the chickens some bread, which made my son very happy! Perfect little getaway from the city. Would definitely recommend this spot!

We had an amazing time at Butte Camp site. Our car couldn’t make it in to our site, but the hike back and forth was quite nice. We loved how shaded the site was and that the water from the hose tasted so fresh and cold! Also, the pond is a must!

Daniel's land is gorgeous! The pond, free-range chickens, and beautifully maintained trails add to the already cozy campsite. There is a quaint little town around 15 minutes away with local shops, unique eateries, and a grocery store. Daniel also has firewood for purchase on the property to make packing for your trip even easier. We loved getting to know Daniel! We highly recommend this camp and we will be back :)

This property is very secluded if you are looking to really get away from it all. We picked camp three which is closest to the sink and portajohn but you still felt like you were light years from civilization and all the white noise. The trails are very well marked. Probably one of my favorite Hipcamp sites and I’ve been to a few over the years. Daniel was super helpful showing us the ropes. Absolutely loved this site.. and we didn’t travel light.. 6 days.. with two dogs.. a 14x14 tent (go with a bit smaller tent if you want to use the platform.. we didn’t mind not being on it because we are used to setting up on the ground). All in all.. perfect!

Beautiful land! Perfect distance between campsites, feels very private. Don’t underestimate the roads and pay close attention to their pulling in instructions as it can be confusing otherwise. Hosts are very attentive and friendly.

We had a fantastic stay! Dan and his family were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. We visited over the 4th of July weekend, and Dan even invited us to watch his fireworks display over the pond. We stayed in Camp 3, which offered great privacy while still being just a short walk to both the bathroom and the pond. I highly recommend this spot to anyone and look forward to coming back. Thanks again, Dan!

We stayed in campsite #3. It felt really secluded, which is what we wanted. There was a platform, picnic table, fire ring, and firewood(to purchase). Our tent 10 x 14 was too big for the platform so we set up our kitchen there. It was nice and level. We saw deer, birds, salamander and also a bear came close. So take the sign to keep your food in your car seriously. We loved the pond and went out on the dock at night to see the stars. Beautiful site!

I loved camping here. I stood at camp 3 with a few of my friends for my birthday weekend, and it was beautiful. Camp 3 was nestled in the woods and had a fire pit with a bunch of logs to sit on, a deck for tents, and plenty of firewood. I’m not a big talker, but I did feel very welcomed at this campsite. It was a fantastic relaxing weekend!
