Site 3 - Quilted Woods
We loved camping here! It was a perfect peaceful getaway for my wife and I to celebrate our second anniversary. Daniel and Corrie were super welcoming, and we even were able to purchase some eggs from them for breakfast. The raised platform and stumps around the fire were a nice surprise. Going down to the pond each evening for star gazing was one of our favorite parts! We will definitely be back again someday to try out one of the other sites!

Stayed at site 1, excellent site with plenty of space for 2 tents. Very clean. The property is beautiful. My kids had a great time exploring the property and using the paddle boat on the pond. We would absolutely stay here again!

Amazing campsite!
This place was fantastic! Beautiful property with tons of privacy. Daniel was very responsive and easy to communicate with. My granddaughters even got to feed the chickens and loved it!! We will definitely go back.

Blackberry Mesa (camp 1)
The property at Quilted Woods is an absolute dream! Our group had a great time enjoying each other's company by the campfire and exploring the property's trails. We stayed in Campsite 1 and definitely recommend AWD, high-clearance vehicles in order to park as close to the site as possible. The bathroom was clean, and firewood was conveniently available on-site. There were other campsites on the property but you'd hardly know anyone else was around until you ventured to the shared spaces (bathroom, sink, lake), which was really cool - the perfect mix of isolation vs. community. Local eggs were available for purchase too, and garden-grown produce from Daniel's garden was offered as well, which was so lovely. I would definitely recommend Quilted Woods to anyone looking for a remote, memorable getaway in a lovely setting.

We had a magical time at Quilted Woods; it was truly perfect. The land is gorgeous and our campsite was both very remote and had everything we needed. Daniel and Cory were both incredibly welcoming and helpful. We can't wait to go back.

Blackberry Mesa (camp 1)
Great experience! Dan, Corey, and Jade are all lovely and we had fun chatting with everyone. The campsite is great and all the amenities were good. Had lots of fun swimming in the pond. We were at campsite 1 and it is a bit of a hike to get there but the wagon made getting our stuff up there a lot easier.

Site 3 - Quilted Woods
Perfect
Daniel has a great piece of property. We stayed at site 3 and though it was the closest to the house I felt completed secluded. Daniel and his wife were awesome hosts and made sure we had everything we needed. (Plus bonded over photography, whistlin diesel and top gear) Miles of hiking trails right next to the campsite and a huge clean natural pond to swim in.. can’t think of a single thing I would change. My only regret was not having enough time off to stay longer.
PS site 3 has a few hundred feet of “off road” dirt driving. Accessible by an SUV. We had a f150 and had no problems. I can imagine a crossover having no problems either if you’re not afraid of some bumpy roads and driving close to some trees. Use that AWD for what it’s meant for 😉 otherwise it’s only a short walk from the parking spots if you don’t want to drive

Great wilderness camping!
Awesome hip camp site - highly recommended!
Stayed at Site 2.
If you have 4x4, the drive up there is pretty fun!
But I’d definitely recommend four wheel drive or plan to hike in the half mile.
Very rustic, definitely for wilderness seekers.
Quiet areas, great trails, and awesome views from each site.
If you’re looking for stargazing, the pond area is the place to find it - great opening into a pretty dark sky.
Overall 5 stars, would absolutely return.

What can I say other than we've been here so many times over the past two summers that I've lost track!? Rare and gorgeous property and the best hosts you'll ever have! Cleanest pond/freshwater swimming in the region imo. Just go :)

Blackberry Mesa (camp 1)
Incredible hosts and land!
A few friends and I came up for a relaxing weekend getaway and we got just that! We had an incredible time camping on Daniels land this weekend. Dan and his family were so welcoming and kind. The land itself is beautiful and you are immersed in nature. We stayed at Campsite 1, Blackberry Mesa. Campsite 1 was very secluded, beautiful, surrounded by trees and mainly shaded over, with a grassy patch of sunlight. The campsite has everything you could need, firewood, ax, bench, and picnic table. We spent most of the weekend lounging and swimming in the pond. The pond is surrounded by beautiful plants, and is the perfect temperature for swimming all day! Dan offered us floaties, a kayak, and a paddleboat to use in the pond. We got farm fresh eggs from their chickens, and berry picked around the pond. I cannot recommend this campsite enough: come for the sweetest hosts, the most beautiful and tranquil pond, and a secluded and gorgeous campsite!!

Site 3 - Quilted Woods
Stayed at Camp 3, which was accessible for roof-top-tenting with our SUV. Quiet and secluded. The pond was lovely and there are nice trails to walk. Firewood is available for a small fee, as are farm-fresh eggs. Daniel and his family are very accommodating and communicated well throughout. The only word of warning is directions. We used the coordinates given by HipCamp and google maps and were sent a number of miles away from the correct location. This issue is made worse by the fact that cell service is spotty at best in the area, so contacting the host or plugging in new coordinates can be very tricky. Download offline maps for the area-I didn’t and regret it. We managed to find some cell service on a hill and communicated with Daniel, who was really helpful and it all got sorted out in the end. The road you need to turn onto off of Hancock Hwy is Hellmers Hill Rd. We were sent a bit further north on Hancock Hwy past Camp IHC and told by Google to to make a right onto Blum Rd. Do not go there! I assure you, not where you want to find yourself as the sun is setting. Our “destination” turned out to be a heavily guarded and threatening militia compound. Follow Daniel’s directions once you are on Hellmers Hill Rd off Hancock Hwy and you will be fine. Well worth the visit!

Relaxing escape from NYC
We loved every moment of our weekend stay here. Daniel and his family were great hosts! Their property had everything our group needed and more, including a clean bathroom, plenty of firewood, and running water. We stayed at Camp 3, which was very private, while also being close to the pond and walking trails. We spent the majority of the daylight hours fishing on the pond and playing cards on the giant rock by the pond. We didn’t want to leave! Highly recommend.

Relaxing Escape at Quilted Woods
I've got to say that this was one of the most fun times that I've had camping in a while. The entire property was incredibly clean and we had an amazing view at our campsite. The hiking trails were also really well maintained so we never had to worry while taking our puppy on walks through the woods. Daniel and his family were also such a delight and he was always really responsive and made sure that we had everything that we needed. I can't wait to head back. This is one of my new favourite campsites!

Returning again & again...
Hands down the best place to camp in Pennsylvania! Dan and Corey have a beautiful piece of land that is well maintained while keeping it's essence of pure wilderness. We've camped there numerous times and it never gets old. From sitting on the cliffs staring at the stars to swimming in the naturally fed spring pond, you can't go wrong any time of year on their massive & diverse property. The proximity to Callicoon (15min drive) is really the cherry on top because you're never far from supplies if you run out. You'll be hard pressed to find nicer hosts or a more stunning Hipcamp in the entire state.

Daniel and family were fantastic hosts and were very welcoming. Campsite was beautiful and quiet, and as a plus they had already brought the wood (for purchase) to the campsite for us! They were kind to our small but quiet dog. We stayed at Camp 1, and it was nice to park close with a small uphill walk to the site. Definitely bring an SUV, as it would be tricky with anything with low clearance. I would absolutely come back again :)

Awesome Experience!
My wife, our dog, and I had a great time at Quilted Woods. Daniel and his wife are awesome hosts and have an amazing property! Communication and instructions were excellent.
We stayed at Camp Site #3, and while it’s closest to the pond and house, the site is feels far away and is very private; it feels like it’s own oasis!
If you are looking for a great place to unwind and camp, look no further, Daniel has you covered!
10/10. Will stay again!

This was our third time camping at Quilted Woods and we love it more each time! We have stayed in Sites 3 and 2 and both have their own unique charm. The property is beautiful. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a spot. Dan and Corrie are wonderful hosts. And the chickens are adorable!

Great experience here at Quilted Woods. Dan and his wife were very welcoming and attentive. We stayed at campsite 3, it’s the closest to the house/entrance but still extremely private (lack of privacy is my biggest pet peeve with state campgrounds). There is lots to explore on the property, our 8 year old son and dog loved just wondering around. It might depend on time of year but 4WD vehicle made things a lot easier here. Highly recommend!

What a camping experience!
If you want a true camping getaway, look no further than quilted woods. This gorgeous property is filled with lengthy trails that will give you plenty of exercise and lots to look at, a beautiful lake to go fishing in, and a beautiful view of the stars at night. On Daniels property you can also find, a potable water source, porta potty, and he sells farm fresh eggs too! The campsites as well include a platform and a picnic table, which my wife and i found very useful. Overall we felt extremely well taken care of by Daniel and he was very responsive to all our questions, for example our car battery died and needed a boost, which Daniel was more than happy to give us to get on our way. Thank you Daniel for everything, we will definitely be back again, I highly recommend this campsite to all!
