We had a wonderful camping experience at Hilltop Farm Campsite. The place is simple, peaceful, and beautiful: no bathroom, no electricity, and no running water, just open land, a few fire spots, and an amazing hilltop view.
The campsite is away from the main farm, with open sky, lots of space, and one of the most beautiful sunsets I have ever seen. It feels very quiet and private, but you can still see some houses in the distance, which brings a nice sense of peace and safety. We saw many deer and rabbit holes, and the area was very well maintained and level.
We also had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Ross, the owner. He is a kind, hardworking traditional farmer, and it means a lot that he shares part of his land with campers. I recommend buying firewood from him; it supports him and he can bring it to the campsite. Just coordinate with him ahead of time.
Be prepared for strong wind. We went in June and the night was still cold. Also, the GPS takes you to the farm, not the campsite. Look for “Hilltop Farm Campsite” on the map.
My wife, my son, and I loved this place. It was a special, peaceful campout, and we hope to come back soon.

We had a great time here! The field had a few sites with fire pits that were flat and nicely mowed. They’re far enough apart to feel pretty private as well. The views are beautiful (get there early for the best views over the hill!) and, aside from the firepit, it’s rustic camping. Bring what you like! It’s close enough to lots of attractions, and we hope to come back soon!

This was my second time camping at Wahl Dairy Farm, and this time I brought my friends along. Just like before, the place did not disappoint! The campsite is clean, spacious, and has such a peaceful atmosphere. My friends and I had an amazing time sitting by the fire, enjoying the fresh air, and taking in the beautiful views.
What I really appreciate about Wahl Dairy Farm is how welcoming and well-maintained everything is—it makes camping easy and enjoyable. My friends loved it just as much as I did, and we’re already talking about coming back again.
Highly recommend this spot whether you’re going solo, with family, or with friends. It’s always a great experience!

Fantastic spot to camp for the night! It’s just an empty field but so secluded and with a great view. Met the owner (and his dog) briefly while he was working the grounds. The drive in is a little steep but our van handled it well. I probably wouldn’t try it with a trailer unless it’s really small and nimble. If you’re self contained and can handle a grassy uphill drive, it’s a great spot for a night. Best of all… no farm smells, other than maybe freshly cut grass.

Gorgeous views and the farmer mowed the field before the weekend. There was a very brisk wind on the hilltop, so good tie downs and a wind breaker would be helpful. I’d definitely return.

Wahl's Farm is like a paradise on earth. Spectacular views, very private and zero light pollution for star gazing. The host is gracious and extremely helpful. It might be just a little tricky after a heavy rain. My AWD Class B campervan had no problems but I might not have attempted it if the ground was saturated. I can't wait to return to this beautiful spot. The location is actually on Radio Tower Road, not the address of the farm. 5 Stars!!

Beautiful spot. A bit hard to find and be cautious is in 2WD and it’s wet. Lots of deer in the field.

Beautiful land! Stayed for 2 nights at the top of the hill and the view was gorgeous. well maintained 10/10 would go back. Mr. Wahl was so kind and came out to greet us even though it was very late!

This place was a perfect place to stay while seeing Phish at BWCFA. It’s close but not too close, and it forced us to explore outside of Bethel during our trip. The views were spectacular, the neighbors friendly and the host accommodating!
