Robibero's Retreat
Great no frills camping with a bonus of having a bathroom and running water available.
Nothing beats having drinks at the winery and walking back to our tent in the evening.

Host should've closed the camp site while I was there. Cars parked 20 ft in front my tent, people walking around at night with dogs off leash, and loud party music everywhere else during daytime. I left a day early just to get away from the noise. Not a word of apology from the host.

Comfortable, uncrowded camp option
We enjoyed the vineyard fire pit! There was only one other tent in a huge flat grass field, so it was comfortable, quiet, and private. And the electric hand dryers in the bathrooms were nice on a cold day.

this was so fun! loved that there were little fire pits at every plot. it was cold the first weekend of october — 42 degrees at night — but so worth it. beautiful property and Harry is a friendly guy. it was a great home base for New Paltz.

Bike touring to the vineyard!
Such a fun stop on our bike trip from NYC to Niagara Falls! The property is beautiful and winery facilities and staff are wonderful!
It’s an open field camping setup with multiple fire pits to choose from with firewood!
Loved it & Harry was great to communicate with! Will definitely be back

Camping with our puppy.
We loved staying at Robibero’s Winery. Harry was a great host. The field was pleasant to stay at with great restrooms. Drinking wine at main building was as great as you can imagine. Our dog loved running around the fields and all the guests were nice. Looking forward to being back in the future.

First timer.
This was my first time camping. I enjoyed it a lot. Beautiful views. Camping area are at a great distance from each other. Only down fall was the bathroom situation. There is only one area. port a potty. So I preferred to go into the woods. No food at the winery.

Winery Camping
Ultimately this spot was just OK for us. We anticipated it would be more private in the sense that other campers would not be on-site camping with us. There was one other tent near us; however, I got the feeling there could be times when there were a few additional.
After reading fellow reviews we did understand that overflow traffic from the winery would exist; and although I did not mind, my partner did.
Harry was so nice and we were grateful for the opportunity to check out the winery and even bring our four-legged friend inside for the tasting.
I would recommend this spot to serve as a "home base" to explore the nearby area or visit the winery at length but I would not recommend it if you do not have activities to keep you busy.

Beautiful winery near top hiking trails. The sites are back in the field by the woods- they have tables and fire rings and the owner brings you firewood upon request. I love it there and keep coming back. The only thing that would make it even better is an outdoor shower… :-)

Great combination of winery and camp. Camp site is a few min. walk from winery but we’ll separated. You don’t need to concern about winery guests. People are so kind, great hospitality.

Great camping location!
Great location and atmosphere at night. Very quiet. On arrival all was uncomplicated and friendly.
Property has some wet patches but you can easily find a spot that is dry. In fact they provided great flexibility across the property.
2x outdoor bath rooms with toilette and basin are provided ( no shower) . Clean, simple - all you need.
Happy to come back!

Lovely spot
Lovely spot if you want to hike in Minnewaska State Park and then have some wine afterwards! We ended up being the only campers there the first weekend in October. Note part of the field may get used for parking for the winery on busy days, but still plenty of room.

Mixed feelings about this place - in summary it’s because we were expecting something semi-private and it simply wasn’t that. Now reading deeper into the reviews, I suppose we should’ve known that. But the winery was nice (packed on Saturday though) and Clemente was very nice and accommodating.

Peaceful, easy, beautiful!
This was a nice, simple camping situation. It's a win open field at a beautiful winery. Our spot had a table, a fire pit, and plenty of space for us to park and set up our tent. Harry was very kind about our late arrival and was available via phone whenever we needed. It's a bit expensive for a camp site, but sill priced competitively for the area.

Enjoyable weekend
Camping it was very enjoyable and the host was vey filriendly, we arrived at 10pm and left next day around 5pm. The winery and musuc was the best of the experience. WE Will definitely invite friends for the next time.

It was wonderful staying at Robibero's Winery. We enjoyed the wine tasting before setting up camp and enjoying the night! We wish our camping fee came with a discount at the winery itself, but overall it was worth it to camp in a beautiful location with terrific wine so close!

We stayed there for one night in January 2021. It was a beautiful land out there, full of stars. We simply loved it. Harry indicated to us where to camp on the phone, so we had no problem to find the best spot. We'd definitely come back again. Highly recommend!
