Rustic tent sites and log cabins on nearly 400 acres nestled in the Appalachian Mountains. The property has been in our family since the late 1800's, initially operating as an ochre mill. We are near the historic town of Jim Thorpe, Whitewater Rafting Adventures, Hickory Run State Park, Lehigh Gorge State Park, Tuscarora State Park, and more. ***PLEASE READ BELOW AND READ EACH SITE DESCRIPTION BEFORE BOOKING*** - Our tent sites are rustic with NO electric or running water. Cabins have electric, but no indoor plumbing. Porta-Johns are available throughout the grounds. (Some sites are closer to port-a-johns than others.) We do not provide potable water or showers for tent campers but we allow responsible use of the stream for cleaning. Cabins have a rustic outdoor shower available May-October. Please inquire for camper vans and pop ups. - FIREWOOD: Due to the threat of invasive pests, we ask that you do not transport wood onto the grounds. We have firewood for sale for $7 per crate. You can pick and crate your wood at the wood pile on the grounds at your convenience. Please bring cash if possible or get in touch at the end of your stay to pay via Venmo, PayPal, or Zelle. -We have a variety of wildlife in the area, including BLACK BEARS. Please follow 'Leave No Trace' protocols and be mindful of trash and food throughout your stay. Keep your coolers in your vehicles and take garbage to the dumpster frequently. We have a dumpster available to you on the grounds. -Check in is contactless. Upon booking, you will receive directions to your site. **If you would like to stay for one night during the week or one night on a weekend during November-April, please get in touch and I can adjust the booking specifications. Otherwise, weekends are typically a two night minimum. Memorial Day Weekend and Labor Day Weekend are a three night minimum. Contact for pricing options.**

The Buckhorn Cabin

The Buckhorn cabin is a rustic, single room cabin built in 2009. It sits about 100 yards from our waterfall. It has electric, but no indoor plumbing. Rustic outdoor shower available mid May-mid October. - The cabin has three single beds. There is floor space for an air mattress/cot or two and tent space is available outside for additional guests who wish to tent camp (best for 2-3 small/medium tents.) Amenities include a mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, small electric fireplace, additional space heater, and A/C. -Porta-potties available outside. - Rustic outdoor shower is available May-October. Hot water heater will give you a few minutes of hot water per shower. -You’ll need to bring along pillows, bedding (3 single beds) , potable water, dish-ware, utensils, garbage bags, paper towels, soap, towels, everything you need for cooking, etc. There is a fire pit and picnic table outside and a cast iron crock that you can use to grill with wood or charcoal. -The cabin is vehicle accessible with a 2WD vehicle unless we have snow. You will be driving primarily on gravel roads once on our grounds. -The cabin is located in the woods and is rustic. Please keep food and pet food sealed in containers to discourage bugs, mice, and other wild life. Please reach out with any questions!

The Waterfall Cabin

The Waterfall cabin is a rustic, single room cabin built in 1938. It has electric, but no indoor plumbing. The stream and waterfall are right outside your door. It is only accessible via foot bridge, recommended for sure footed guests only. You will park and cross the bridge to get to the cabin. It’s about a 30 yard walk from parking. The porta-potty is located on the side of the same side of bridge that you will park by. -The cabin has a bunk bed with full bottom/single top. Tent space is available outside for additional guests who wish to tent camp. Amenities include a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker, and small electric fireplace. -Porta-potty available outside across the bridge. - Shower available mid May-mid October only. -There is a small electric fireplace and additional space heater. No A/C. The cabin stays relatively cool in the summer, especially at night. -You will need to bring along pillows, bedding (bunk bed with full bottom/single top), potable water, dish-ware, utensils, everything you need for cooking, garbage bags, paper towels, etc. There is a fire pit and picnic table outside with grates to cook over the fire. - The cabin is located in the woods and is rustic. We loved our stay at this campsite! It was secluded without feeling too far from parks and convenience stores, quiet and clean. The site was neat and tidy when we arrived and the firewood onsite was a great addition. Will definitely be back!

This land was awesome. Private, plenty of space, super short walk to the car, porta pot was clean. The creeks/streams were beautiful, and so close to camp. Picnic table was extra large. Definitely coming back!

Outstanding campground. very remote yet close to town and other attractions. Bear View was set back off the road a bit, which was perfect and a nice secluded spot. Casey responded back immediately to any questions or concerns and I will be back to do some winter camping in their cabins. Definitely a must place to stay if you are looking to visit Jim Thorpe and the surrounding area.

We really enjoyed this beautiful campsite with a nearby stream. We were able to find a nice spot for our family sized tent. They provide a very well kept port-a-potty only a short walk away. We hope to come back soon!

We loved our spot at tent site #3, felt very private (which means a bit of a trip from car to campsites, but we preferred this). There were plenty of places to hang a hammock, plop down a tent, our dog loved being in the middle of all the birds and chipmunks. There was also a lovely oasis (mossy beds and twisty trees by the stream) just next to the site we wandered into which was peaceful and beautiful. The porta-johns were clean and convenient, all the other campers there were far enough away that we felt comfortable talking and playing low music. Definitely plan to come back in the future with some more friends, twas a perfect camping experience for us!

This was a perfect site by the water. It is drive in which was perfect for our rooftop tent. We could hear the cabin across the way but still felt secluded. Beautiful spot!

It was a great spot and a beautiful campsite. We were on the end so very quiet, barely any other cars drove by. The fire pit was really nice and they have wood chips down on the tent sites, so it was even more comfortable to walk on.

RoundStone was close enough to home, but promised the semi-primitive experience I was looking for. It’s been a while since I’ve been camping and this was a great place to “decompress” without too much risk. For that, RoundStone did not disappoint. The site (Touchdown) was private and spacious and could easily accommodate a larger group. Privacy was good, though you could hear other site campers off in the distance, aside from my “neighbor” site, I never saw anyone else. The porta-a-potty was clean and was shared with one other site, slightly awkward but could be worse. The only complaints I have were out of the control of RoundStone and they were the noise from cars/motorcycles at night. I would come back, but I’d like to experience what the other sites have to offer. Being more forested they would likely have more of a buffer from the noise.

Amazing site! Felt very secluded, quiet and spacious - yet on a long stretch of road sandwiched between other sites! Stone fire pit, picnic table, gravel under toe, with lots of tree cover and a beautiful stream behind the site. Open space for a couple tents/ your car.

The Waterfall Cabin
Such a lovely little spot! We had a great time at the cabin, exploring the woods and sitting by the fire. Other campsites nearby, but still felt like we had plenty of privacy & space. We will definitely be back!

Second trip there and exceeded expectations again. Still haven’t seen a bear but we did hear a large pack of coyotes our first night(in the distance). It’s a great place to be in nature and experience all it has to offer!!!

This site was amazing! There was plenty of space for me, my fiancé, and my dog. The site was super clean and private. The only time we saw people was if they were walking or driving by on the road, which wasn’t too often. I will definitely be returning and am excited to see what the other tent sites have to offer!

Tent site 7 is beautiful, secluded and quiet. The trail down is a bit rooted and stoney but easily navigable if you're paying attention to foot placement. Firewood ring had grates for cooking and carts are available for getting your gear down the trail from parking. This campground is a hidden gem.

This was our second time camping here and it was so wonderful again this time around. We were at tent site #3 which we loved. The little stream flows right through next to the site. I set up my hammock and took a nap listening to the trickling water and the sounds of the woods. It feels very private and shaded, while still being close to the porta potty. The tent sites are far enough away from each other that you don’t hear or see anyone else really. We grabbed some firewood from the pile there and cooked our dinner over the campfire. Make sure you bring cash for the firewood!

This spot was amazing! Our entire group fit great. We had 5 tents, a bathroom and a kitchen! The creek was awesome to play in during the day and even better listening to it at night time! We loved this spot!!! Highly recommend!!
