Rustic tent sites and log cabins on nearly 400 acres nestled in the Appalachian Mountains. The property has been in our family since the late 1800's, initially operating as an ochre mill. We are near the historic town of Jim Thorpe, Whitewater Rafting Adventures, Hickory Run State Park, Lehigh Gorge State Park, Tuscarora State Park, and more. ***PLEASE READ BELOW AND READ EACH SITE DESCRIPTION/RULES BEFORE BOOKING*** - Our tent sites are rustic with NO electric or running water. We allow responsible use of the stream for cleaning. Please bring along potable water. Cabins have electric, but no indoor plumbing. Porta-Johns are available throughout the grounds. Cabins have a rustic outdoor shower available MID May- MID October. Please inquire for camper vans and pop ups. - FIREWOOD: We have firewood for sale for $7 per crate. You can pick and crate your wood at the wood pile on the grounds at your convenience. Please bring cash if possible or get in touch at the end of your stay to pay via Venmo, PayPal, or Zelle. -We have a variety of wildlife in the area, including BLACK BEARS. Please follow 'Leave No Trace' protocols and be mindful of trash and food throughout your stay. Keep your coolers in your vehicles and take garbage to the dumpster frequently. We have a dumpster available to you on the grounds. -Check in is contactless. Upon booking, you will receive directions to your site. **If you would like to stay for one night during the week or one night on a weekend during November-April, please get in touch and I can adjust the booking specifications. Otherwise, weekends are typically a two night minimum mid May through October. Memorial Day Weekend and Labor Day Weekend are a three night minimum.** Contact for pricing options. The Buckhorn Cabin

The Buckhorn cabin is a rustic, single room cabin built in 2009. It sits about 100 yards from our waterfall. It has electric, but no indoor plumbing. Rustic outdoor shower available mid May-mid October. - The cabin has three single beds. There is floor space for an air mattress/cot or two and tent space is available outside for additional guests who wish to tent camp (best for 2-3 small/medium tents.) Amenities include a mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, small electric fireplace, additional space heater, and A/C. -Porta-potties available outside. - Rustic outdoor shower is available May-October. Hot water heater will give you a few minutes of hot water per shower. -You’ll need to bring along pillows, bedding (3 single beds) , potable water, dish-ware, utensils, garbage bags, paper towels, soap, towels, everything you need for cooking, etc. There is a fire pit and picnic table outside and a cast iron crock that you can use to grill with wood or charcoal. -The cabin is vehicle accessible with a 2WD vehicle unless we have snow. You will be driving primarily on gravel roads once on our grounds. -The cabin is located in the woods and is rustic. Please keep food and pet food sealed in containers to discourage bugs, mice, and other wild life. Please reach out with any questions!

The Waterfall Cabin

The Waterfall cabin is a rustic, single room cabin built in 1938. It has electric, but no indoor plumbing. The stream and waterfall are right outside your door. It is only accessible via foot bridge, recommended for sure footed guests only. You will park and cross the bridge to get to the cabin. It’s about a 30 yard walk from parking. The porta-potty is located on the side of the same side of bridge that you will park by. -The cabin has a bunk bed with full bottom/single top. Tent space is available outside for additional guests who wish to tent camp. Amenities include a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker, and small electric fireplace. -Porta-potty available outside across the bridge. - Shower available mid May-mid October only. -There is a small electric fireplace and additional space heater. No A/C. This was our second year staying here, and it was great again! However, just be warned of the wildlife, we had a few encounters with black bears and raccoons. Other than that, everything was amazing.

Secluded cottage by the waterfall!

The Waterfall Cabin
This cabin has 2 nice chairs on the porch, perfect for gazing at the waterfall! The vibe inside the cabin is more cozy and secluded and cottage-like than the Buckhorn cabin which is a bit brighter, more airy, and bigger. Both cabins have nice rugs in the middle! The Waterfall cabin is so fun to get to across the bridge! The bridge feels very safe. There is a big wheelbarrow cart with bike tires to get your things across the bridge. The portapotty was just serviced as we arrived, so that was very pleasant! It's right on the road side of the footbridge. The distance between this cabin and the Buckhorn cabin is perfect for reserving both cabins together, or being totally secluded due to the footbridge and distance, but you might see each other at the road/ portapotties. The cabin is in its own little world with an overlook clearing by the waterfall, and at least 2 tent sites for Waterfall Cabin folks down by the stream, and even a hiking trail! There is a steep hill going up from behind the cabin which adds to the privacy and secluded feeling. There is a concrete walkway that leads to the waterfall, with a handrail, which is fun as an overlook! Also, as fun activities, I highly recommend Mauch Chunk Lake (which Casey recommended to us!) for beach and kayak rentals! And Lehighton Outdoor Center for bike rentals on the Lehigh Gorge Rail Trail. Both about 20 minutes away.

Stream-side Forested Spacious Site

This tent site is right along the stream and just before the waterfall! The stream is nice and deep here, but also has a little mini beach area for wading. So peaceful! We had 4 tents set up among the trees, everyone loved the spaciousness! Nice picnic table and fire pit. A 2 minute walk from either the Waterfall cabin or the Buckhorn cabin, so it's close enough for reserving together and being close by but far enough that if separate groups are there, you wouldn't really see or hear each other. The portapotty was serviced just as we arrived, so that was extremely pleasant!

The Buckhorn Cabin
This was a wonderful spot! This is the first site you arrive at when you drive into the campground after passing the lovely pond, so it's very easy to find! Still very quiet and serene, though. We were amazed by the comfortable and spacious cabin, and that it had a mini fridge, microwave, and space heaters. Dresser and lamp are very homey, and the cute circular table with chairs was perfect for games and tea. The bench and hooks along the entryway inside were great for storing essentials and getting ready for the day. Cute porch area! Lovely windows look out towards the picnic table and stream across the camp road. Waterfall view as you walk outside! The portapotty was serviced right as we arrived, so it was very pleasant. We did see a black bear a couple time in the far distance behind the cabin, in the woods. We had reserved this cabin, the Waterfall Cabin, and Tent Site #1 all together for 30th birthday weekend, and that was perfect for feeling like a village yet all spaced out. The Buckhorn Cabin was the perfect central meal and gathering spot amongst the 3 sites.

What an amazing weekend! Can't recommend this location enough, arrived and quickly realized we did not read the listing thoroughly and picked the wrong site type, but we messaged the host and they quickly re-accommodated our group to the TOUCHDOWN campsite. On the drive in you pass by a small air strip that we actually got to witness a plane take off on Sunday morning which was amazing to see! The site itself was back away from the tent sites and gave me and my college roommates plenty of space for what we needed.m, not to mention the most beautiful view of the sunset and evening skies. We had a great weekend relaxing by the fire and enjoying the local area 10/10 recommend staying here!

Was excited to return to one of our favorite campgrounds in the Jim Thorpe area! The sites are huge, clean, and private -- The trees are so dense that you can only see a glimmer of occasional light from other campsites. Large fire pits, walkable port-a-johns, and absolutely beautiful. My daughter said "It's like we walked into a fairy tale forest!" Casey thoughtfully offered us a site closer to the the stream when she had a cancellation, and was very helpful accommodating an adjustment to our reservation.

The site was amazing! Right next to the waterfall so you could hear the water all night. Port-a-potty was very clean. Overall beautiful location and site. It rained almost the entire weekend on us so we would love to go back again when the weather is nice.

Great little space near Jim Thorpe! It's very separate from the other campsites (which is what we wanted), and it was quiet and peaceful. Would highly recommend if you wanted a peaceful weekend, or an affordable spot near Jim Thorpe.

The Beaver Dam
I had a great time at the Beaver Dam campsite at Roundstone. The nearest Porta-Johns are a bit of a walk but they are very well maintained. It can feel like there is a little more traffic since the wood pile is very close by but people are generally quiet and try to be efficient. You cannot see the woodpile from the campsite. Overall it is pretty secluded, so you feel like you have the pond to yourself. I don’t think people knew there was a campsite there because we had a family walk into camp around 9pm one night. I think clearer signage might help! The rest of the land is absolutely stunning! It was clean, people were respectful, and my sister and I felt very safe!

Little Pine
We stayed at the Little Pine site at RoundStone Campground. The place is stunningly beautiful and peaceful. It also has easy access to Jim Thorpe and Glen Onoko falls. Little Pine is the perfect site for privacy as you are nestled away from many of the other sites. Casey is attentive, kind, and responsive. My car died on the site and Casey was able to send someone immediately to jump it. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking fort a quick weekend getaway. We had a blast and will hopefully be back soon!

Meadow view was a beautiful site and perfect for our group. We enjoyed having the option to be indoor as it cut down on the need for some of our gear. It was absolutely beautiful, not buggy, and well kept and maintained.

This is a wonderful campsite and location. There is plenty of room and the campsite we stayed at, number four, was very large and well thought out. We easily fit to larger tents and had room for other others. There’s plenty of fun things to see and look at on the property if you don’t want to drive anywhere. And our site had a fun walk to a creek and stream. We wish our stay was for longer. Will be back for sure.

We stayed at Casey's tent site Bear view in the Roundstone camping area. The site was so beautiful! It had a great amount of space, beautiful views, and a really good fire pit and picnic table. Everything was well thought out, like leaving a wheelbarrow to help us move things from the car to the site and having a really clear system to get firewood. The attention to detail was exceptional and the stay was the smoothest I've ever had. Will definitely be back again!
