A Fairie Tale farm indeed! The campground/farm has it all, if you know what ”real” camping is. As a busy family from the city, we value rest, quietness and most of all privacy when we go camping, and Susan’s land delivered! The best nights’ sleep, ever! It was lovely to be surrounded by nature, wake up from the birds singing and not by noisy neighbors ( although we did have neighbors but they were polite and respectful ). Susan is super nice and hardworking, she made sure we are settled and got everything we needed, she did all the same with the other campers.
Ricketts Glen State Park is about a few minutes drive. We did the “Falls Trail” trail, ( because we are a family who hikes ) and oh boy, we have hiked difficult trails, but this one, please do not underestimate, you will need proper footwear! The trail we picked was a “moderate” one, but we find the way back is hard because it was very slippery where the “falls” are, and there’s so many of them!
Seeing the horses in the afternoon was such a delight, because our site was just right in front of it! We can’t wait to go back, maybe next camping we will pick shelterwood! Thanks again Susan!❤️

Was only there one night, but probably the best Hipcamp experience I’ve had. Susan was very communicative and accommodating, and offered more than expected. Really enjoyed taking the paddle board out on the pond before settling in at the site, and my dog loved getting a swim in herself.

We loved it here!! Susan has a beautiful property. Our campsite provided plenty of privacy and space for four adults and our two dogs. Quick drive to Ricketts Glen, which is where we spent our Saturday. We look forward to returning in the future.

My friends and I had an amazing weekend at Susan’s camp. Serenity Ridge had a gorgeous view, late night visits from the horses, and plenty of space away from the other sites for privacy. This site had both flat, open space as well as covered wooded area. Susan was extremely responsive and provided all the potable water & fire we needed at no additional cost. Looking forward to coming back again soon.

As we pulled around the windy gravel road, we came upon a clearing across from the Art Trail. Tucked under tall, fragranced pine trees, we found multiple tiki torches leading to an iron table and chairs, situated beside the fire pit. We decided to tuck our tent under the pines on a ground of needles, next to the cozy wooden bench. The grounds were idyllic, full of birdsong and soft breezes. We found a spot for the hammock to lounge in the shade… and while it was a 90’ day, it was pleasant and cooler under the pines. There is a small active stream a short walk from the camp. The owners of Crystal Spring, Rose and Eric, are quite lovely, helpful, and friendly. They came to greet us with a bouquet of various herbs from their garden. Overall, this was such a sweet little getaway. We will definitely be back soon x

We loved camping here! We had Tent Site #1 which had plenty of room for 6 of us. It was secluded and the water accessibility was so lovely. Literally my only complaints were that the campsite was covered with gravel which my little dog’s feet didn’t love (or my bare feet!), and that there seemed to a very large family that came through to use the grassy area and tent site near the waterfall cabin for day use only, which took away from some of the amenities that paid campers were entitled to. Other than that, we’ll absolutely be back again!

Bullpine was wonderful. We had a lovely spot for the tent and hammock nestled in the trees and our kids could play in the meadow or at the creek and still be within earshot. It exceeded our expectations and we can't wait to return.

We stayed only one night but had a great experience. Tom met us when we arrived and gave us a quick tour around the property. Very welcoming and peaceful place to set up camp. There were other campers at other sites but we didn’t get the chance to meet any of them.

Great stay. The host and staff were friendly, and introduced themselves as folks arrived. Wine made by operators was tasty, and reasonably priced.
Will be back, and want to bring friends for a multi-site stay.
The sites are rustic but excellent for easy going relaxation. The road and trail is quite bumpy - go slow and you’ll be fine. Sedans, drive extra slow. Site 11 is off the main view, but provides nice shade and trees mid-site. We were able to set our dog up nicely so he could move freely around. Wood chips instead of gravel is a nice touch. The fire pits are stone, another nice touch Vs metal rings.
Super clean - several times I saw the portas checked, trash collected, etc. Everything felt chill, easy going, but maintained.
Expect some later crowds, a lil hooting n hollering, the odd generator kick-on, or some other noises - but otherwise it’s spaced out enough to give that room to still enjoy yourself.

What a beautiful place! Falling asleep to the sound of the stream was fantastic! A perfect little getaway and Tom the host was terrific! He gave a tour of the property and gave a little background information on the holistic retreat! He even placed hay down on our campsite since it was muddy from the rain! Will definitely be camping back here again!!

We had a great time! Susan was very helpful with many aspects of our stay-- which campground site to choose, what activities to do nearby, addressing any issues that came up during our stay, etc. The place is very peaceful and the children really enjoyed spending time with the horses! This is our second time staying here and we plan to return again!

This spot was everything and more! When we arrived, it was pouring! Jenn took us to our site, explained everything, told us to text her if we needed anything and then we got started! 4 tents to put up in the rain!! It was fun and made great memories! The sink, the bathroom, the views and the river, couldn’t ask for anything more! Susan was even nice enough to let us use another site’s access to the river due to a cancellation. We fished and caught a few!! My family of 8 had the best time! And 4 of them were first time campers! I think they expect every site to be this accommodating!! They are in for a surprise!! Lol it was beautiful and we loved every minute of our stay!

Weekend Trip to Camp Dietrich on Bear Creek
This was our second time at Camp Dietrich. We will come back over and over! I can only reiterate how special and well thought out these wonderful campsites are. Scott has made a truly private forest haven here! We are always impressed by how beautifully maintained and well appointed the entire place is. Thanks again Dietrichs!

The wildlife-viewing is top-notch here, and while you can picnic and boat in a lot of places, the scenery at Frances Slocum just makes it perfect. 13 miles of trails accommodate skiers in winter and hikers year round, exposing visitors to beautiful scenic views and peaceful nooks of nature sounds. The lake is stocked with trout and contains several additional species of fish, 700 acres of land are accessible to hunters (350 to archers), and camping is modern and easy to plan and negotiate. A swimming pool that’s open in the summer months, a slope for sledding in winter and educational programs on nature, history, culture, and more make this a great place to bring your kids.
