This was exactly what we needed on this trip. It was absolutely beautiful and so peaceful, everything from the landscaping to the pond made the entire place feel like our own little private escape in nature.
The pond was incredibly clean, and we didn’t get bitten by a single mosquito the entire time! We loved having the paddle boat, fire pit, grill, and hot tub right there.The adorable swing by the pond and the little bench where you could sit with your morning coffee. There’s really nothing better than waking up to the pond or relaxing in the hot tub while looking out over the water.
Even though there are a few houses in the general area, you would never know it. They did such an amazing job with the landscaping, bushes, flowers and trees that you can’t see the neighboring homes at all. It felt incredibly private. There’s even a little wooded area to explore, which made it feel even more like you were tucked away in nature.
The cabin itself had everything we needed. The bed was SUPER comfortable, with just the right amount of pillows, and we loved all the thoughtful little touches throughout the property.
Between the pond(we caught fish), hot tub (super clean!) , paddle boat, fire pit,outside mood lights,projector,great WiFi,beautiful landscaping, privacy, and peaceful atmosphere, this place really gave us the relaxing getaway we were looking for. It was one of those places where you immediately wish you had booked another night! ( Also my dog loved it )

We stayed in our truck camper and booked the site to use the fire pit and the hot tub. It was Thanksgiving week, and it was chilly and windy. The vehicle parking spot was under a tree that was clearly dead which was a concern with the wind. The hot tub temperature would not go above 94 degrees which we would have liked hotter in the chilly outdoor temps so we used it for 10 minutes out of our 3 night stay. While we did not stay in the A frame bed or use the bathroom, we did check them out. They were clean and seemed cozy. The host was kind and gave us our privacy which was nice as we were there to relax and enjoy a brief time away from home and work. All in all it was a cute place. Was it worth what we paid to stay there? We would have to say No. The nightly charges of $175 and $189.75 x2 plus Hip Camp service fee $105.93 was too much for the place and the amenities.
We loved everything about this place!! Clean, comfortable and a perfect glamping experience. Jean was very helpful and friendly. We hope to visit again! Thank you!

Overall we had a nice experience at this HipCamp site. The a-frame cabin was lovely and we were very thankful it had heat. The bathroom with composting toilet and shower was wonderful to have as well. The site was cute but closer to other houses than it seems in the listing. The biggest downside was that unfortunately the hot tub was not heating up. We messaged the host and he did come and clean out the filter and troubleshoot the issue but since the tub heats so slow, we were unable to use it for the duration of the 2 nights we were there. This was a major disappointment since this was one of the main reasons we booked this accommodation. The host did say he is looking into getting a new hot tub but unfortunately this does not benefit us and our stay was a bit tainted by this issue.

I absolutely loved this tiny little A-frame! My girlfriend and I celebrated our 5 year anniversary here. Jean was an excellent host who helped make our trip an amazingly memorable one. The property is gorgeous and the amenities are great (especially the hot tub and projector :) )
Absolutely wonderful experience in the tiny A-Frame! A weekend of massive storms and lots of rain, but we still enjoyed every second.

The AFrame and bathroom were immaculate and everything was easy to find and navigate.
We were pleasantly surprised to find there was a projector in the house and access to movies and shows.
The pond was beautiful, a real gem! Filled with salamanders and fish. Was way too cold to get in, but there was a paddle boat available and fishing rods.
Highly recommended!!

This was the perfect cozy spot for a getaway. I only stayed one night and regretted not having a second night booked. I was able to relax after a long hike, and the owner was responsive and so sweet by offering me a late checkout. Highly recommend and I can’t wait to return!

Great place. Jean even had set up a hot water shower station. He's in works of building an actual bathroom and will definitely come back once that is done. The site is well thought out, and private although there is another property across the lake. Very responsive host as well! Thank you

Sherwood Forest Tiny A-Frame
It started off rocky cause Hurricane Debby really put a kink in everything. We unfortunately didn’t have many of the listed amenities as the site lost electric (Air conditioning, fans, pretty outdoor lights, WiFi, coffee maker, or refrigerator) until the last night when power was restored at 10 pm. BUT, the host was accommodating and helped make the trip the best it could be. My youngest loved the paddle boat. The animals were very sweet and the little piglets were amazingly cute and welcoming! My husband caught a couple small fish! The bed was relatively comfortable. There are houses around the pond so know you are in company of others and don’t be alarmed in a stray dog comes roaming to your site. We also ventured to Tobyhanna which is only a few miles away which has a lovely beach and hot showers. Overall, we had a great time even with some challenges!

We enjoyed our stay. Private area, even though there is a home across from the pond.
My husband and I loved camping with our dog at Jean’s property. He provided us with everything we needed! Not to mention his property is private and beautiful. I would definitely recommend Sherwood Forest to anyone looking for their next camping trip!
