There are plenty of activities within the 45 acres: hiking, fishing, farming activities, bird watching, biking all on site. We have luscious fields of sustainably produced vegetables, fruit and flowers. Explore the Delaware river from our boat launch or one of the great canoe rental companies. Hike Mt. Tammany, Ski Shawnee Mt, walk the Appalachian Trail, visit America's oldest jazz club in Delaware Water Gap or visit the dozens of water falls surrounding our farm for a swim. (Autumn is camping season in the poconos, bring blankets and plan hikes for excellent fall foliage)
We have 3 camping locations which you can park near with your vehicle. They are all private camps and out of sight from others.
Our camps sites are for people that like camping in the mountains and near a working farm. Our farm and the community we built is focused on sustainable living with nature, local self reliance, and kindness.
Also, feel free to join us in the fields, request a tour, pet a goat, smell a pig, and check out our DIY home renovation, (built with hempcrete).

The 66-acre property has been licensed as an airport (PS20) since the 1980s. It is currently an active, private airport. We don't sell fuel or offer services beyond camping so we primarily have only air traffic with few to no landings each year. In other words, it is very quiet here except during the occasional low pass. We are very eager for pilots to fly in and camp out! The beautiful sunsets and stargazing night skies are a real treat for anyone that comes to visit. Lots of deer, birds, and other wildlife can be seen out and about. Bring your telescope and binoculars to view all the property has to offer! Note that we are always working to improve our slice of heaven, thus we do have tools, vehicles, and equipment stored around the farm that if not used now will be one day. We appreciate your understanding that some areas are used for our personal / farm storage. If you're not into looking at our farmware, there are a few nearby campgrounds.

We are within walking distance of Swatara State Park and close to the Appalachian Trail. Short drive to the local winery, bowling alley, pub/diner, and movie theater. Grocery stores and gas are also nearby. Miles of hiking, rail trail, single-track mountain biking, and kayaking are all right here! See our kayak and bike rentals under extras!
Hershey Park is approximately a 30-minute drive from our location. Rausch Creek, Anthracite, and Reading off-road areas are also nearby.

All lodging sites have heating for your comfort and are available year round! The River's Edge campsites sit on the shoreline of the Delaware River at the western edge of New York State overlooking the mountains of Pennsylvania. Our canvas tents and open air platforms perch between the river and the former Delaware & Hudson Canal which was once was used to transport raw goods by barge to New York City via the 'port' of Port Jervis. The remnants of the canal walls are throughout the property including a 300 person theater which we created to both preserve and feature this industrial history. It also makes a great place for an event or a movie night.
Today, the original canal towpath, along which barges would be pulled and floated downstream, is a trail that links all of the campsites over 5 acres and at the furthest end an eel fishing camp that is in operation from June to October.
In the early 1900s, the train replaced the canal as the primary method of moving goods into New York and if you are lucky — you will hear the train rumble by along the river on the Pennsylvania side. There is something spectacular in the absolute still and grandness of the river, the mountains and the ongoing industrial history of the valley. It is a reminder of the way things used to be.
The farmhouse and cabins are located opposite the campsites on other side of route 97. Next to them are 50 acres of wild forest to hike and explore. These accommodations are great for guests who want more amenities but still with easy access to river. Pair campsites and cabins so that all your guests have their best experience.
Contact us to coordinate for larger group bookings. Please note that a significant portion of county tax/fees and cancellation or change fees may be avoided by booking the base amount of people (4) and at a much later date adding extra guests. Guests NOT occupying canvas tent (lodging) and bringing their own tents should not be paying an occupancy tax but there is no provision for this in the app. We do not want our guests paying taxes -- that benefit no one but useless bureaucracy! Extra guests may be added the week before booking. Just let us know your plans through the app!

Just outside the quaint town of Austin sits a vivid reminder of one of Pennsylvania's worst disasters – the Austin Flood. In 1909, the dam was constructed on Freeman Run to power the Bayless Papermill downstream. Many wondered if the dam was safe. On September 30, 1911, Austin found out. Poor construction, coupled with torrential rain, resulted in the dam's collapse. Nearly 400 million gallons of water were released, destroying everything for 8 miles. At least 78 people perished in the tragedy. It was the second worst flood disaster in Pennsylvania's history and sixth worst dam failure in U.S. history. The tragedy sparked new legislation to improve dam safety, and the Austin Dam was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1987. The ruins of the dam still stand, surrounded by a 76-acre park, as a tribute to the lives lost in the Austin Flood. Don't miss one of Potter County's best kept secrets!

Camp next to a peaceful trickling creek just outside Phoenixville and Kimberton. We are a suburban oasis, surrounded by a little bit of everything.
Our homestead has plenty of activity including kids, dogs, chickens, and bees! We have a fully wooded area available to explore across the creek, and weather dependent- the creek is a great place to stay cool. You'll see lots of growing fruit trees in our developing orchard and we are happy to share our vision for this beautiful land!
We have two campsites available for you to choose between for your stay. Both sites are along the creek, however, one has a view of some nearby houses and is a short walk to the parking spot [Creekside]. The other site is more secluded, past the tree line, but a further walk from where you are able to park. [Hillside] If needed, we are happy to lend you a wagon to haul your gear. Please let us know if you have questions and your preference of site.
We have a cabin-like bathroom and partial kitchen you will have access to during your stay. We always have cold water available for purchase in the fridge.

There is trail access easily accessible from our home (the closest is approximately 1 mile), for paved or natural trail exploration. We are are a great stopping point for cyclists enjoying the area.
It's a short drive to downtown Phoenixville with some of the best breweries around. Phoenixville is home to a great farmers market on Saturday mornings and numerous festivals. Also, close-by is the lovely quaint village of Kimberton, home of the best organic grocery store, cidery, and many opportunities for hiking and small farms. We are happy to provide recommendations of places in the immediate area.

We will have contactless check in available upon arrival. Campers will fill out the registration form on the front porch and then go to their site.
A note about fishing. Fishing is available in the Brandywine River behind our farm, in Hibernia Park, at Springton Manor catch and release pond, and also at Chambers Lake in the park.
35-acre bucolic farm with goats, sheep, chickens and geese. Sites are near our one acre pond and each site has a fire pit. Our farm borders the 1,000-acre Hibernia Park with its historic mansion, extensive woodlands, hiking trails and along the beautiful Brandywine river. Lots of wooded areas, trails, rock outcroppings and beautiful scenery. The entrance to the park is through our farm gate near Site 2 and then down a trail.
There is an indoor powder room with flushing toilet and sink for campers to use and a small camp shop. Wood is available for purchase. We are located
5 minutes from the hospital, 10 minutes from grocery stores, 30 minutes to Amish country and Longwood Gardens. Hopewell Furnace, St. Peter's village, Daniel Boone homestead, Historic Springton Manor, Marsh Creek Park and lake are all nearby.
Check out our Facebook page and reviews - We are Open Year Round. Offer Farm fresh eggs for breakfast. Children age three and under are free. Children age four and up must register and pay as campers. All children must be supervised at all times and kept quiet from 10 pm to 8 am. Please make sure to check in before 10 pm.

Host Interaction: You dictate the vibe. Want total isolation? We're highly skilled at being invisible. Prefer company? We'll invite you down for locally roasted coffee to trade local lore and point you to secret spots to explore. Hosts live in the off-grid solar cabin and converted school bus camper on the property from late June through August. We are off-site during most other dates.
Access Logistics: Self check-in/out. Borrow the rugged garden cart to haul gear to your site. Trails use reflective markers for easy night navigation.
Liability Waiver and Rules: You'll get a link to e-sign before arrival. One per family or unrelated adult guest.
Waterfall intensity: Varies with weather. Expect a whitewater torrent after very heavy rain or snowmelt or just a steady spring-fed trickle during droughts.

Hosting campers like you for an unforgettable getaway to Pennsylvania is just in our blood. We’re Rob & Michelle, a camping family who have been hooked on camping ourselves for over 20 years. We started by tenting, moved into a 5th wheel for several years, and then finally found our second home and became seasonals. There’s nothing better for us than to be outdoors and enjoying the camping community.

A love for this and the campers we have met over the years have brought us to the place in our life where we are ready to make a change from the everyday routine of our current situation. We were given an amazing opportunity to follow our dreams and here we are! We are happy “parents” to our wonderful rescue dogs, Franklin and Lacey. Our farmhouse was built in 1860 and we are only the fourth family to live here! In the past century and a half, this land was used as a willow and flax farm as well as a chicken farm.
The property is on Lenni-Lenape land, and our hope is to bring back more of the native plants that have been used (and continue to be used) as food and medicine.

Welcome to For Tomorrow Farms, our creekside permaculture farm and food forest!
This site is still being planned and developed, but our mission is to create a productive and healing space in nature for individuals to connect with the environment, try fresh home-grown foods, and hang out with friendly farm animals. We are currently growing rare and heirloom fruits, veggies, and herbs (ask us what we’re growing!) in the backyard of our 1860s farmhouse, and our animals help with natural land maintenance and fertilization. Come say hi to the goats and cows, take a dip in the creek, and explore our 10 acres of exotic wetlands!
If you’re looking for a longer hike, we are also surrounded by plenty of gorgeous parks and trails, which are only a short drive away. This is the ideal location for a peaceful getaway just an hour outside center city Philadelphia.

I've had the property for 10 years. It's located in a more rugged section of Pennsylvania. Over time I've been planting fruit trees and bushes. Can't quite call it an orchard yet but someday!
Come enjoy camping, hiking, hunting, boating, fishing, swimming and much more at this site nestled amongst game lands #287 and Allegheny river. 2000 acres of game land to explore, half mile from the Erie to Pittsburgh bike trails. Stay for hunting season or launch your boat onto the Allegheny River. 1 mile from scrubgrass ohv Park so bring your buggy or just enjoy the races.

Staff was very friendly and included treats for my dogs when I signed in. The sites were really nice and level. The bathrooms were rustic/modern, well maintained, and clean. The playground and dog park were a nice bonus, and The Hub was beautiful and relaxing with complimentary coffee! I was only able to stay one night because I was passing through Pennsylvania on my way home to Central New York, but will definitely stay again, hopefully for at least a few days next time.

Bill was extremely accommodating and a prompt communicator. I was on my return trip from Colorado to eastern PA and found Bill's property on here. I wouldn't be able to arrive until close to midnight. Bill gave me a call and graciously guided me to his property. I set up camp on flat level ground and hoisted my dog up in the roof top tent and got a great night's rest before packing up and finishing my final 5 hour drive home. I did walk my dog around the property a little bit in the morning and if you are looking for a peaceful place to camp...look no further. Highly recommend Bill's property and can't thank him enough for allowing me to camp so late in the evening.

Elk Creek was a beautiful little getaway spot near World's End and Rickett's Glen. There are cabin's for glamping or RV sites. My spot was great because I had the view of the woods. Russ was a great manager and checked on us to make sure we were okay. Full hook ups were a treat and they have seasonal/annual RV sites all year round! Will definitely be back!

Perfect weekend getaway with own private mossy waterfalls and wood-fired bathtub in the forest. Couldn’t ask for more. Adam was a perfect host, always there to help with any questions (fire wood, local attractions, forest berries etc). Will def come back for more when the waterfalls have more flow. Dope!

Adam and Karen's land is gorgeous. My partner and I had an amazing time with our dog staying at site #1. The waterfall directly next to the site was only a trickle when we stayed due to the weather, but Adam sent us a list of nearby waterfalls to look at that more than made up for it. It's definitely a steep climb uphill (nearly vertical in some places) but Adam was very helpful and hauled our things both up and down to our car in his atv. The tent was, thankfully, not filled with bugs living inside, which has been my experience in similar longstanding tents. The free firewood had enough for me to make 4 fires which was just enough for our stay. Everything was super well maintained. It was the perfect amount of privacy and support, quiet and help when you needed it. We'll definitely be returning!

Weekend Trip to Riverhouse Farm
Perfect little nook next to the river! We spent our days floating and swimming. Richard and Mary were very sweet and so hospitable. The campsite was well maintained and private. The toilet tent was very clean. I definitely recommend getting firewood and eggs from Richard (he was kind enough to bring us more when we asked!). Bring your bathing suit and enjoy a calm and relaxing time on the river. We will be back!

I did not stay during the day on Richards land, leaving early in the morning while he did chores, and arriving late at night.
I chose his campsite because of the shower, which turned out to be perfect for what I needed. The first time I used it I found that it can get very hot.
The shower was the reason I stayed, and it was what I needed.

I can't say enough great things about this spot. It was just my little dog and I, and Tom let us pick the spot we wanted, and even provided a converter for me. The restaurant is REALLY good (I recommend the salmon, yum), which was so nice after being in the woods a while. Close enough to bike to Sunbury and I had a blast there, too. Lots of awesome history and friendly people. Can't wait to be back!!

We loved staying with Adam and Karen for our first Hipcamp experience My husband and I have been camping together for 24 years(tent and camper) and decided to upgrade to the ‘Glamping’ add on. Adam had everything set up exactly the way that we would have set it up for ourselves. It was picture perfect and we were able to use the wagon provided to bring what we brought up in one trip! We did run in to Adam later that day and had a wonderful conversation. He was extremely accommodating, answered our questions and also respected our time, privacy and space for the remainder of our stay. The outhouse and shower areas were clean and easily accessible. We would recommend site #2 for any couple looking to have a peaceful adventure together. Thanks so much Adam and Karen. We will definitely be back to relax and rejuvenate soon!
