My family had a great time here. We swam, kayaked, and fished to our hearts content. Caught multiple Perch, Blue Gill, and Largemouth Bass. The kids really enjoyed the floating mat. Be sure to get that if you have kids.
It was peaceful and serene. Beautiful sunrises and mist. We hardly saw anyone else on the pond. The cabin was rented behind us, but they had their own dock and we didn’t feel at all crowded. I’d love to come back someday and highly recommend this place.

What a great spot and host! Places was limited to 6 people but I had a larger group. Host kindly accommodated and allowed my party of 12! Cabin across the road was a bit closer than expected ( cabin has a section of the lake front as well). My dogs loved swimming and a lot of different species of fish. Catching them left and right, blue gill, perch, bass and catfish. When I arrived the 40 gal water jug was only half way full and host gladly refilled it for us next morning of our stay. We used the water for cleaning and bathing as I brought my on portable shower. I’d recommend that the jug is used for cleaning(no cooking). Lots of micro plastics in the container. Other than that I’d give this place 5 stars over and over again. Will definitely book again in the future! Left a canopy there because we couldn’t pack it back home. Hope other campers put it to good use!

This spot was a perfect respite. The set up is great for adults and kids. There were no biting bugs while we were there and the electric was a rare treat. The firewood bundles were perfect hard wood for a long evening fire. We rented one kayak which was very convenient. Alicia was a great host answering my inquiries before and during the trip. Upon our arrival we were greeted by an eagle, and over the next few days we met green frogs, bullfrogs, deer, many fish, a painted turtle and many butterflies and dragonflues. The pond was an amazing source of curious aquatic life and the best bass fishing I’ve ever had. Completely catch and release, but I caught three big ones in a row. The biggest one AI estimated at 7 lbs 23” even taking the photo perspective into account. I hope if someone catches her again they release her, so her majesty can continue her rule over her pondom. Even the frogs were polite peasants. If you listen carefully you’ll hear them calling… “Hey! Thank you!”.

My sister and I hope to return next year to check in with all our creature friends.

Really fun / unique site. We loved being right on the lake with a slide, diving board, swing chairs, etc. Spent the day swimming and playing in the water. The host also had lots of boats and such you can rent. There is a road and a small home behind you, but it's not busy or too loud and we felt like we had a nice private camp to ourselves regardless. I would definitely love to come back again sometime!

Great place! Really well-maintained and clean, it's clear that Alicia takes a lot of pride in this property. Very close to the road, but very little traffic so it feels private. As someone who exclusively boondocks, having the 30 amp service was a real luxury! No joke about the lack of Verizon service though - make sure you pay for the Wi-Fi box unless you have T-Mobile or AT&T. Looking forward to coming back.

We brought our motor home and the pad was perfectly sized for even a large trailer. It was quiet and tranquil. There were plenty of fish to catch in the lake and Alicia’s selection of boats will fit any experience level.

This single camp stands out from so many others. We are used to backpacking and now have a little camper that we wanted to spend some time in. We are not the RV parking lots kind of folks! We were looking for something more private and that had options for time together, and this was perfect. Not completely secluded but we had our space to be out and enjoy. We opted for the WiFi option since it’s currently a dead zone for Verizon. We enjoyed a trip out on the canoe and got to see the whole pond and surrounding area. We also saw a great blue heron and belted kingfisher several times. Truly a relaxing and beautiful spot ! We’ll definitely be back! This is a favorite for us. And just to note for those who want to camp with friends or family that aren’t so campy, the owner’s also have a gorgeous cabin across the road to rent. Terrific find!

Really cool campsite. High end amenities like Adirondack chairs and 2 different types of swings. There is a dock with a slide and diving board and a whole bunch of cool add ons. We rented the rowboat and I took my dogs out on the lake which was super fun. The site was private with just a small country road running behind the property with minimal local traffic. Great for families with kids that love swimming!!

Great views, end spot…..the dogs loved every second as did my wife and I.
Had both 50 and 30 amp services which is very convenient. The host Alicia,
greeted us and was prompt at replying to messages and answering questions. WiFi hot spot worked well. All amenities were perfect, will visit again with the grand kids 👍

This is by far our favorite hipcamp we’ve stayed at! The lake and campsite are so GORGEOUS and peaceful, the location is 20/10. Everything is set up so you can just pull in and enjoy. Alicia was great to communicate with and as a host. We will definitely be back and will recommend to our fellow campers!

We had a wonderful stay at this peaceful and scenic spot. The directions were clear, and access to the site was easy. Our 36’ camper was a snug fit on the pad, but it worked just fine. One of the highlights was spotting bald eagles and other waterfowl nearby—such a treat! The host came by in the evening to check in and was incredibly friendly and accommodating. There is an Airbnb cabin across the road behind the site, but it still felt private and spacious. We’d definitely stay here again. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a serene, nature-filled getaway!

This was one of the most beautiful and relaxing trips we’ve ever been on. The site has everything you need for the perfect getaway. Alicia is the best host. She kind, helpful and communicative. We loved the swim mat, WiFi hotspot and firewood but also enjoyed the Adirondack chairs, picnic tables, slide and diving board. The swings were such a wonderful added bonus! The tranquility of this spot is unmatched and we loved seeing the Herron, dragonflies, and deer in the meadow down the road. This was truly a magical vacation and we are so appreciative that Alicia shared her beautiful piece of paradise with us!! We will definitely be back!

New Favorite Summer Getaway

We have a new favorite campsite!! 100 stars according to our children (and pup).
We had an absolute blast. We loved jumping off the diving board, going down the slide, hanging on the water mat, paddling, and fishing in the lake. The dock is well constructed, sturdy, and splinter free thanks to the composite decking boards!
We enjoyed swinging and sitting by the fire with lake views.
The wildlife was lively - deer, dragonflies, monarchs, swallowtails, bass, bluegills, an eagle, a blue heron, a belted Kingfisher, an American woodcock, and many other birds.
The porter potty was spotless and had plenty of TP for our stay.
The stone parking spot made parking and leveling the camper easy. The stone spot is at the perfect location with great shade cover from the trees throughout the day.
The wood they offer was dry and made for great morning and evening fires.
We also made the short drive to Flynn's Ice Cream. The ice cream was delicious, and our children enjoyed the play area and petting zoo.
We will be back!! Thank you for sharing your beautiful property with our family!

We LOVED our time here! As a military family en route to our new duty station it was so nice to have so much to do and explore at our finger tips… from the kayaks, peddle boat, dock with slide, lily pad and diving board - our kids were in heaven! The waterfall with walkable creek was a huge hit!

This was our second annual trip for the 4th of July holiday weekend. Can’t recommend this spot enough. It is beautiful, peaceful and the perfect spot to recharge. The hosts are very responsive and helpful. All the add ons keep all ages busy and happy. We will be back again next year!

Fire fly light show extravaganza!

This was our second time here! It’s a beautiful and peaceful spot.highlight of this trip was an incredible fire fly show! There were millions of them lighting up in the trees around the pond, and especially in the field a few hundred yards down the road. It was magical. We had great weather this time, so we got enjoy the diving board and slide into the water. I highly recommend it and we will stay here again for sure!

What a nice piece of property! We really enjoyed ourselves. The site is near a backroad that did not bother us. Very friendly people in this area. Well maintained site with great views. We rented and used the rowboat equipped with life vests. T-Mobile cell service as well as our T-Mobile internet gateway worked great. Can’t wait to return.

This is a beautiful spot for sure! Lots of space, privacy, and beautiful views. The hosts were super communicative and helpful along the way. We didn’t get to swim because of the weather, but I can imagine swimming and enjoying the yard are all day on our next stay. Power was great and well located, there was a bright light on a pole, a deck we pulled our travel trailer up to, the dock with diving board and slide, a lovely swing set near the pond damn that has a nice waterfall. The waterfall created some nice white noise the whole time. Also, the portapotty was clean and well maintained. Our pets had a wonderful time too! We also took advantage of a WiFi hotspot that was convenient. All around a great stay we’d highly recommend!

This site was mostly private and on a beautiful spot on a pond with a small waterfall. The site had an electric hook up for our camper and a clean porta potty so we were comfortable. We were able to take advantage of the many convenient amenities such as the rentable kayaks, firewood bundles and the WiFi hotspot. My family really enjoyed the kayaking, hanging out by the waterfall and the dock. It really was a great site and we plan to return.

Campsite was clean and well appointed with everything as advertised. This remote spot is great for a quick get away. We visited in March so there were no other campers around at adjacent spots which was nice. Looking forward to coming back in the summer with the kids when is warm.
