We had a great time at this place! Took us a minute to figure out how everything worked, but we were honestly impressed with the number of amenities on site. (The keg to heat up the shower water is ingenious btw!) This spot is clearly well cared for and you can tell that there have been many updates and improvements over the years. We had a lovely stay and even found some chanterelles in the woods nearby! (We made sure to avoid the game lands). Thank you for opening this little haven out to the public!

We had a lovely time at Cats camp! The kitchen had everything we needed and the mattresses provided were very comfortable. Loved the frogs near the little stream, and beautiful flowers all around.
Great stay! Nice and tidy, peaceful but close enough to civilization. Great to sit around the campfire and listen to music.
As always, we had an amazing time on Vince’s land. Every time we go back we’re reminded of why it’s our favorite hipcamp spot. Secluded, close to home, beautiful. Would always recommend it to anyone looking to take a hard reset from life somewhere beautiful.
Vince’s property is a family favorite! Spacious, quiet… always an excellent stay. New upgrades this season add insulation to the main structure, keeping it dry and cozy even during a rainstorm!

Had a splendid time tent camping here, and would def love to come back. For a group of 4 with two tents, it was great! Could probably handle more peeps, too. It was one person's 1st time, and she loved it! The kitchen was very nice to have, and we loved the fire pit area and table patio area too.
We probably overprepared for this trip, but I definitely recommend being overpacked rather than underpacked coming here.
The drive down was easily manageable by my RAV4 and partner's Tacoma. A smaller car might have a little trouble, especially if it rains. There is one especially bad divet/washout close to the beginning of the trail, so watch how you go over it.
I wish there was a full set of bags for the cornhole! And a bit bummed we couldn't go into the balcony area, but we made do without

It's a beautiful and quiet place with it's own little hiking trail. It rained when we went but I just set up my cot in the open shed and was good to go. Ot's a lovely and private place.

We loved so many things about this campsite. It was beautiful, secluded, interesting, and equipped with everything we needed and more. The cool kitchen/deck/fireplace area was great to cook, eat and just hang out in and perfect for when it rained. The sounds of birds and the stream were refreshing and soothing. We enjoyed the stars, the greenery and flowers, frogs and dragonflies... We did see several small snakes that we think are non-venomous. Not a deal breaker for us but I'm mentioning it in case finding them would ruin someone's vacation. We will definitely try to come back. Vince was also generous and great with communications.

This was a truly unique and beautiful site. It’s very accessible by the main road, and close to the highway. You’d never know that, however, sitting by the little pond and listening to the wind in the trees. The bunkhouse was a great option for last-minute solo tent camper chickens such as myself. The open kitchen and dining spot was really nice as well. Vince was super responsive as well. I would definitely stay there again.
My only reservation for giving this gem a 5 star review is that I’d selfishly like it to remain a hidden treasure! I can’t say enough amazing things about our stay at Cats camp. Vince was a picture perfect host and was quick to respond to any inquiries we had during our stay. We are already planning our next trip! Thank you again Vince for providing this amazing experience for us and others!
Vince was a responsive and polite host. We communicated over Hipcamp chat and any questions were answered quickly. The camp itself is beautiful, private, but still easily accessible. I will certainly be back. 10/10 definitely recommend.
As always, we had an amazing time on Vince’s land and we hope to come back again very soon. Highly recommended!

The campsite had everything we needed for the perfect balance of cozy and rustic. The directions to get down to the campsite were clear, and we had most everything we needed to cook up a delicious feast. It's also conveniently close to a lot of nature trails.
Vince's place was just what we were looking for! It is rustic and yet, also fully quipped with everything you could ever need to make a wonderful nature getaway.
We loved the open air kitchen design with the beautiful stone fireplace and comfy rocking chair. It was also perfectly shaded for our high temp days... and the setup of the outdoor table has a divine air flow. We opted to cook our dinner over the adjustable open fire pit off that sits along the grass line.
Our kids loved setting the slide up on the grassy hill as my husband dumped buckets of cold fresh spring water on their heads. The spring house was awesome and we all took a morning cold plunge in the fresh water. The swings and toys were perfect... frog hunting in the pond and exploring the area.
Good thing we had the bunk house because it unexpectedly rained pretty hard during the night and we were perfectly dry and safe from the elements. Be aware though, rain on that tin roof is loud! If it were our place, the one thing we would re-think was the toilet setup (currently a handicap toilet commode) Off grid toilets are a tricky thing to navigate anyhow... But I think we would dig a pit and set up an outhouse with sawdust, etc. Its really no big deal but the only thing I would give a "heads up" to others about.
We couldn't have asked for a better stay and will definitely be back!

Camp was very peaceful and secluded. You can sit and enjoy hearing the creek that’s located on the property and the abundant birds. Nothing more relaxing than sitting in front of a fire and hearing nothing more than the comfort of nature. Even being in the cold season the bunkhouse was very warm.
Went with our friends and children and it was an amazing little oasis!

This was a great place to spend New Year's weekend. We were able to hike out to Haystack Mountain and get a great view of the fireworks in the valley (before the cloud ceiling blocked everything!)

Awesome private site! It rained most of our stay but we loved hanging out in the outdoor kitchen and cooking dinner with a fire going. Outdoor kitchen, bathroom hut, and tiny bunkhouse all have lights that are powered through solar generator. Felt very safe here and would love to stay again in the future.

Cats Camp was perfect for our group of 8! Even tho it was raining we stayed dry under the lean to and were able to sit around the fireplace and enjoy the serenity of it all! It was also nice to have a fully stocked kitchen!

I can't say enough good things. Great secluded location still close to amenities. The cabin is perfect for sleeping and the outdoor kitchen is amazing. We will absolutely be staying again if Vince will have us back.
Amazing stay! This site is accessible, yet secluded. Plenty of space for kids to run and play and the bunkhouse slept 4 comfortably. The outdoor kitchen/living area is so unique and spacious with all supplies well stocked. We will definitely be back!
We took our nephews(11&13) camping by ourselves for the first time, and this place was the perfect spot for us! We are avid campers but the boys are not nearly as outdoorsy, but they raved about the spot. They loved having the bunkhouse to themselves while we pitched our tent under the tree near the small pond. The kitchen space was perfect for us, and the fireplace was such a nice feature. We had such a nice quiet night, the camp felt safe and private. Our nephews said they "definitely want to come back" so I guess we will be back to enjoy this gorgeous spot again.
