Best Spot in The Entire Area!
All I can say is WOW! This was the absolute BEST trip that I have taken in awhile. Gorgeous views, relaxing location, peaceful silent nights and the hosts were beyond generous. I would 10/10 recommend this camping spot! Liam and his mother really make it feel like home with a warm welcome and offering anything you need. The trails were top notch and the stream is beautiful. Private area with tons of space. Liam is extremely knowledgeable on scuba diving and soon they are opening up the pond for lessons- I can’t wait! Please don’t miss out on enjoying this place and treating yourself with a tranquil night for yourself or a romantic getaway with your significant other! Don’t think twice honestly- book it!

Cozy HEATED Tree Cabin on the Pond
Stunning, peaceful and a MUST!
What a beautiful place! We were greeted by owners upon our arrival, as promised. Very detailed information was provided right from the beginning. We never felt lost. Much to our surprise, we had the whole place to ourselves. We knew we could make ourselves at home, as they made us feel that welcomed. My sister and I came here for a girls getaway and it was absolutely perfect! We will return again with our families.
The cabin and common area were both stunning and very cozy. The ponds were beautiful! Photos on Hipcamp do this place little justice, there is just no way to show it’s real beauty in a photo, go see it in person!

The most accommodating campsite🏕️
The pond site was so beautiful! The water was so clear, and the kayaks were super easy to get into due to how their dock is set up. The bathroom was amazing for a campground. It was so warm and cozy and looked great. The shower was extremely clean and warm. The common room had everything we needed in it. We decided to not bring tea because we just didn’t want to deal with the hassle of a kettle. But they provided different flavors of delicious teas, coffee, and mugs. We even forgot a lighter, but they had us covered. One of our chairs broke, but, again, they provided us with some. This is seriously just an amazing place run by people who actually enjoy it. I can’t recommend them enough

Breezy, Beautiful weekend!
Absolutely loved the treehouse! Even in October we were able to enjoy the campfire and walking around the property. No one else was on the grounds for the weekend so we had the common areas to ourselves. That was most convenient as well. We would love to come back!

Muddy Myst is a great find. This is my second treehouse experience and each time I love it more.

Pretty Perfect at the Pond
Muddy Myst is a wonderful spot for fun, relaxation, and rejuvenation. Our family had such an excellent time camping here and will surely be back. The hosts were wonderful and checked in with us almost every day to check if we needed anything. The place is magical and highly recommended!

It was the perfect setting for a much needed, relaxing weekend! We stayed in the cabin which was just perfect! Very comfortable pillows and bed! Very accommodating for us and our dog!! The site is within 10 minute driving to Buttermilk Falls where you can hike and swim, however, there is also plenty of hiking on campground if you don’t want to hop in car! The paddleboat and kayaks were a huge bonus! The common area was super cute and clean.

This campsite was a great stay! The bathroom was clean and easily accessible from the campsite. I really loved having access to use the kayaks and the pedal boat. Overall, I would highly recommend staying here!

Magical Getaway
We are so happy with our recent stay at Muddy Myst! The property is absolutely gorgeous and we felt so lucky that we got to experience it for two nights. The common area and bathroom are both clean and so nice to have available. There was a little bit of rain but we had the deck beneath the treehouse as a space to play games and still enjoy nature! It was a bit too chilly to swim but the pool looked nice and we got a couple chances to enjoy the pond. Liam and his mom stopped by to say hello and were so kind. The treehouse room itself is a smaller space and a bit wobbly but perfect for sleeping at night after enjoying the outdoors and the bed is comfy. The only negative was that I came home with what look like flea bites but camping comes with bugs so it doesn’t affect my overall experience too much. We have some great memories from this lovely trip and thank the owners for sharing Muddy Myst with us.

It was a lovely experience. Tent camping with a neat kitchen and bathroom is a luxury to us, but the muddy myst offered way more than what we had expected. Host was super responsive and helpful. We enjoyed swimming in the pond and sunbathing on the deck. Will definitely come back!

Cozy Cabin with our pups!
We LOVED this cabin and Muddy Myst. First off, the bed is so comfortable. It’s so cozy in the cabin with the lights and they even had a fan for warmer summer nights.
There was a dog bed in the cabin and an outdoor one which our pups loved!!
The pond was super fun and refreshing during the day with the paddle boat. Our pups loved running around the large pond.
The pool was warm which was relaxing when it started to cool down and we slowed down to get ready for dinner.
The common area is a cute little area that a lot of camping areas don’t have but had a microwave, coffee if you forgot some, reusable mugs if you forgot some, a ton of information in their binder if you wanted to know what was nearby or emergency contacts, and a water machine for reusable water bottles, and more! They also have a nice little bathroom connected to the kitchen area with a shower, toilet, and sink which is extremely convenient!
Overall, fantastic amenities, we LOVED the cozy cabin, and the hosts were phenomenal. We highly recommend this cabin or any of the other sites if you’re looking for a fun getaway with everything you need!! We will definitely be back.

10/10 would recommend
I took my 2 young nieces camping for their very first time at Liams spot. This place was fantastic! It was the perfect mixture of the outdoors but with some added bonuses: the heated swimming pool, bathroom/shower, and common area equipped with a microwave and coffee maker.
The kids spent hours hunting for frogs and exploring the campsite. They already are asking if we can come back!
Liam was very responsive on the app and his mother dropped us off extra fire wood. She was so nice to chat with.
We also explored the area and drove to buttermilk falls and the Living Treasures animal experience.

We enjoyed camping at Muddy Myst!! It is a beautiful campsite and we enjoyed the hiking trails, the pond, and the pool. The camp site itself felt private, but we still had an opportunity to meet neighboring campers. We had a great time and will definitely be back!

This place is truly magical! We absolutely adored our campsite by the creek. The trails were glorious, I particularly loved the sunset trail, where our path was made of wildflowers. The pond is gorgeous and the symphony at night is incredible. Highly recommend a night swim in the (90 degree!) pool, looking up at the stars feeling weightless is incomparable. We loved taking our pup on a paddle boat for the first time (true joy ride)! And our hosts were so gracious, informative and thoughtful, the common area and bathroom were easily accessible, clean and practical. Bonus Keurig made for a lovely cup of coffee in the morning under the awning during a light summer rain. We had an absolute blast. Can’t recommend enough! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Camping with newbies
Hidden gem alert! This place is the perfect medium between primitive camping and lux. The shower and kitchen area made this place perfect for newbie campers who weren’t sure how they’d feel about camping. We swam in the pond during the day to cool off and swam in the pool at night to warm up. Hanging out on the dock watching shooting stars at night was a highlight - beautiful star gazing! Frog songs were something to remember. We will definitely be back. The hosts made our diverse family feel so welcome. Thank you for having us at Muddy’s playground. Rico had the time of his life. Hope to see Tom, Jolene and Liam again soon!

Relaxing Campsite on the Pond
This is our second trip to Liam's land and it was even more wonderful than our first! There is a refreshing pond directly off the site that you can kayak, paddle boat, and just float the day away in. There is a absolutely beautifully comfortable pool that my whole family enjoyed. You are surrounded by nature but close to lots of creature comforts like a warm shower, clean bathroom, quick coffee, and a spot to charge your devices so you can take plenty of photos of your phenomenal trip.

This is our second time camping at muddy myst and we did not regret it! We spent Father’s Day there swimming, kayaking and paddle boating. Camped at the creek site as well as the pond site and now the cabin! We will be coming back very soon :)

Relaxing Campsite on the Pond
Liam’s land was so peaceful and beautiful! It felt like a little oasis. I stayed there for a day and night with my partner and we loved that there were so many fun things to do too. We went kayaking on the pond which was so nice and relaxing, did yoga on the dock, swam in the pool, and shot some hoops in the basketball court! We also made a fire in the fire pit and cooked some food over it at nighttime. It really was the perfect camping experience. There is also a bathroom with a shower with hot water which we really appreciated as well. The common room and bathroom were super cute and homey and we appreciated all the little decorative details. We felt like not only the building, but the entire experience was set up with love and care. Liam was also so nice and helpful!

Amazing first stay in the new treehouse cabin. Was everything we wanted and more! This is our second time staying on Liam’s land and we loved it so much last summer we decided to come back. Heated pool, kyaks, paddle boat and a beautiful pond. Could have asked more a better weekend!

Private Wooded Retreat w/Amenities
Muddy Myst is a private wilderness retreat with modern amenities! The Glamping treehouse is comfortable for sleeping with a large bed and electricity. The communal space has a kitchen area (microwave, K-cup, beverage refrigerator) including a small table w/ 4 stools, a sink for washing, and a water cooler for drinking. Also, has a bathroom with a shower stall, toilet and small sink. The swimming pool was warm at 92° and comfortable at all times of the day… Plenty of property to explore and the pond is a fun space to float and play with kayaks and a small 4-person paddleboat. There’s even a cement basketball court and corn-hole boards for recreation! A wonderful property with welcoming and considerate hosts! We will be back!!
