Eco-Campsites and Recreation Area located in the heart of Western Pennsylvania! The site is in a great location, only a 12 minute drive from Buttermilk Falls and the Rails to Trails Bike Path that runs along the Allegheny River. For those interested in fishing we are only a short drive from Pine Creek, Cowanshannock Creek, Keystone Lake, Mahoning Dam, and Crooked Creek Lake. For those interested in off-roading, the Scrubgrass OHV park is only 20 minutes away.

Relaxing Campsite on the Pond

Muddy Myst is a wonderful campground getaway, with the most pristine frog pond, a wonderful set of trails, and a cozy and delightful common area. I will most definitely be back again!

Relaxing Campsite on the Creek

Great camping experience.

We really enjoyed our stay here ! We are a couple with 7 kids. 6 of them came the first night and 4 stayed the second. My parents came and joined us for the second night. The bathroom and common room were super clean and had what we needed. The owners live on site and were around to help us when needed. The pool was perfect for my kids, not too deep but deep enough! The pond was great for the older kids ! The sites are far enough apart that the other campers don’t bother you at all. My kids are super active and they were occupied the entire time. We will definitely be back again !

Cozy Tree Cabin on the Pond

Great stay at the tree cabin. Pond was great kayaks and a paddle boat. Jolene was kind and welcoming.

There is nothing I can say except "AMAZING". Don't hesitate to book a stay here because you will not be disappointed! Even with a day of rain it was so enjoyable and relaxing and Liam and his family are the best! There to help you with anything you need!! Thank you for sharing your property with us. It's beautiful!!

Relaxing Campsite on the Creek

Wonderful hospitality

I spent the weekend at the Creek Site with my 14 year old daughter and her friend. We loved every minute (even in the midst of a heat wave!). Site was easy to find, kayaking on the pond and swimming in the pool were highlights, and the common area/ bathroom were wonderful amenities one doesn’t often get at campsites. All this makes Muddy Myst a unique and wonderful experience. We spent one morning at Buttermilk Falls and then headed to lunch in Ford City— both of which are just 10-15 mins from Muddy Myst. We would have hopped on the GAP bike trail, except the heat was too much for us. Liam is a great host and met his family, who were staying at the main house. Everyone is super friendly and helpful. Overall a great experience.

Liam was great with communicating everything we needed to know. The spot is quiet, secluded and feels private while being close to common area. Beautiful property and we will definitely be back! Thanks again Liam!
